CoD Zombies Poem

To say farewell to 2016 and to the zombies storyline that we've come to know and love, I wrote a poem to dedicate to the fans, Treyarch, the community, and everyone who's been supporting or working to make this game a great success. Enjoy, my zombie slayers! First song below was found in Gorod Krovi and it's called Samantha's Sorrow. The song became so great at 1:10 :') The second song was a remake of the iconic 'Damned' for the Shadow's Past series by my favorite YouTube channel, V2rocketproductions. Watch and follow them, they make amazing fanmade CoD zombies content and other video games!

Every story has a beginning,

For eight years, we did our best,

Round after round, game after game, we never thought about quitting.

We ascended from darkness,

Fought in Nacht der Untoten, listening to Undone,

We continued to Verruckt, listening to our Lullaby, numb to the point that we too walked lifeless.

'My name is John Banana and I owned a cabana', and Smokey is long dead,

Dempsey's been captured and the other is nowhere near,

It's just me, myself, and I, including Smokey's head.

Wunderbar!, Oohrah!, Vodka!, and Honor!,

We trudged through the waters of Shi No Numa,

We were The One, and we fought long and hard to not bring dishonor.

Der Riese, we started from the bottom and now we're here, pure determination,

The mindless freak bags look up at us as giants,

Now witness the Beauty of Annihilation, before we disappear, via teleportation!

'Power, power, power, it's always about the power',

Kino Der Toten plus 115, and a chance of stabbing,

Equaled the pretty ones and us having a fun happy hour!

Comrade, you came and we sung Abracadavre and drunk vodka,

In Ascension, we freed Gersch from the Motherland,

We hurried before the little girl came, seeking vengeance for her papa!

'Those who only look to the past or the present are certain to miss the future',

'Viva la Revolucion', mi amigos, as we fought for our country in Five!

We got down and prayed to be a better shooter!

Lights, cameras, action!

Call of the Dead, and it was our final scene,

But we're not ready to die, not when we were the main attraction.

In Shangri-La, we were nearly done,

Napalms, monkeys, shriekers, and our sweet Paredolia,

Day and night, we made sure to have our fun.

We made it not to Paris, but to the Moon,

We thought after so long, we'd yell 'We're Coming Home!',

But The Doctor wanted the ultimate power, to be powerful and immune.

We rode the bus in Tranzit, doing nothing but Carrion as we joined the new game,

We had to choose between our traitors, Richtofen or Maxis,

No matter who we sided with, the outcome would always be the same.

We, the ragtag group, cheated death in Die Rise,

We knew what to do, but the others couldn't listen,

We all fall down, but we kept coming back from our unplanned demise.

Trapped in Mob of the Dead, but we didn't regret a damn thing,

The cycle must continue or be broken,

But that didn't answer our question: Where are we going?

We traveled by foot to Buried, and we set up the firewood,

We were Always Running, for the world was broken,

We were so desperate, at the mercy of forces we barely understood

Samantha knew now of what needed to be done,

1918, Origins, and we were our own fucking Archangel,

As the Sheperd of Fire, she showed us of how it all really begun.

We were cursed, but we looked good in our Snakeskin Boots,

We bathed in our Cold Hard Cash and we fought in Shadows of Evil to prevent the destruction,

But the Shadowman betrayed us, and the Apothicons were let loose!

We finished them off and damn, back again in The Giant,

'Trust me..', our doctor always said,

Trying desperately to, once again, earn our reliance.

As knights and Robin Hoods, we fought ferociously in Der Eisendrache

But in the end, we paid our respect to our Tank Dempsey, as he was Dead Again,

'Good to see ya Tank', Semper-Fi, oohrah.

Emperor, why did you do it,

You were the cause of the Dead Flowers in Zetsubou No Shima,

Takeo, an honorable man, who fought for Japan and for the dying samurai spirit.

Gorod Krovi, we're in Nikolai's homeland, Dead Ended at an act of treason,

We felt Nikolai's suffering and we too loved and lost,

But we tried to forget, for some things are forgotten for a reason.

Dr. Monty did his best to protect the children,

But the Shadowman and the Apothicons came out from the shadows to win,

But we were blessed with The Gift of brother and sisterhood and together, we destroyed the true villain.

It all worked out in the end, Primis,

We watched Sophia and Maxis make the ultimate sacrifice,

Thanks lovebirds, y'all will surely be missed.

'What to do', Dr. Monty asked in frustration,

'That'll work perfectly', he sighed in relaxation,

And in the end, he led us to our salvation,

Thank you, Treyarch, for the greatest Revelation.

Another Poem, dedicated to our characters

You all will never be forgotten,

But I can't seem to say goodbye,

You did it, in your own way you did it, Edward Richtofen.

You were a good soldier in the end,

Good to see ya, Tank Dempsey,

Oohrah to the very end.

Nikolai Belinski, you didn't know what you lost 'til it was gone,

Surrounded by demons and drowning in vodka,

I'd be there, a gentle hand to hold on.

Takeo Masaki, did nothing but still earned a hater,

Sadly, I must say sayonara to our Japanese warrior,

Forever and always, the honorable zombie slayer.

Samuel J. Stuhlinger,

A man under the control of a madman,

More tragic with his beloved mother six feet under.

Abigail Briarton, the girl that kept the group together,

With Mommy and Daddy taken,

She made sure to fight for her emotionless lover.

Marlton Johnson, the nerdy genius,

The lone survivor of Nuketown,

And for Misty, he tried not to show weakness.

Russman, the badass old man,

Unlikely he would retire soon,

And he showed us that you can still fight, despite your lifespan.

Salvatore Deluca, our iconic mob boss,

Showed us to be your own leader,

Damn, we sure went through a tough loss.

Billy Handsome, our coldblooded killer,

The one who didn't regret a damn thing,

Unfazed, even if he stood in front of someone's trigger finger.

Albert Arlington, the pessimist,

Poor, poor, Weasel,

Only you, the one who didn't deserve this.

Finn O'Leary, a gambling man,

Betrayed by his pretty starlet,

He showed that that even forgiveness exists in such a man.

Nero Blackstone, a failing sorcerer

Even if knew that he and the others lost,

He kept fighting, not wanting to accept his death or suffer.

Jessica Rose

An example of a desperate woman,

Killing her blackmailer before her next show.

Floyd Campbell, a man that doesn't take chances,

Believed in being punished, but kept going,

Even despite the circumstances.

Jackie fuckin' Vincent,

Did so much for his city,

Too bad he never got a 'Thank you' in the end.

Happy New Year's, y'all!
