Questions (part #3)

PIKA_POWER_GIRL asks

Honestly, I've come across many MANY embarrassing moments, that I don't even know which one is the most embarrassing 😂

I feel like what's most embarrassing about me is my interests tho 😂

But I will share one story!

I was in gym class at school one day and we were playing this game that was kinda like a soccer and baseball combined, only the pitcher doesn't throw the ball to you so that you could hit it with a bat, they just roll a soccer ball and you kick it and then you run (that's how the two sports are combined I guess).

Anyways, it was my turn, and deep in the back of my brain I thought

"Damnit, I'm gonna get called out"

But then another voice in my head said

"No! You can do this! I know you can!!! YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR DESTINY!!!"

(This scenario should be a movie 😂)

So I gathered up all my courage, and the situation went kinda like this

I was there. Standing on one side of the gym. I could see the pitcher, holding the ball. I could see the rest of my classmates and other random people that aren't in my class but near my locker and are somehow in my gym class, standing in the back. All waiting, for me to make my move

I stood there, anxiously waiting for my gym teacher to just roll the ball already. I was inpatient, cause for some reason, she was taking a REALLY LONG TIME, but I was also grateful, and her taking her time, was also what I wanted

All eyes were on me. I stood, so ready, like I haven't been ready before!

Finally, after what seemed like half the gym class was over, the teacher finally, rolled the ball.

As the ball rolled, I tensed, but I needed to loosen up, It continued to roll, and time, seemed to slow down.

I experienced what is known as a "slow-no moment"

The ball rolled, and as it got closer to me, I ran up to it. As I made contact with the ball, I forced all my power and energy within me into my shot.

I didn't even look at where the ball was going, all that my brain cells were telling me was:

"JUST RUN!"

So I ran. I probably looked like a complete idiot, but I still ran. I was so close to the first base, but then, don't even ask me for the details about what happened next

As I got closer, my foot tripped my other foot and I landed face first into the ground.

(I probably looked like a smashed pancake 😂)

I heard muffled voices, but what I also heard, was the whistle. And that concerned me more

I never did end up getting to first base. And I was called out.

FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! I WAS LEGIT A FRICKEN CENTIMETRE AWAY! AND I HAD AN ACCIDENT! HAVE YOU NO SYMPATHY GYM TEACHER!??!

As the whistle blew, I looked up to find my hand touching the mat that represented first base. I thought in my head:

"No.. no this can't be happening... THIS ISNT THE END!!!"

And then I just got up and did a little "walk of shame" to the end of the line for all the people who were out.

People even asked me "Hey are you okay?"

"I LEGIT JUST DID THE MOST DRAMATIC FALL IN HISTORY, NOT TO MENTION THAT I HAVE BRUISES ALL OVER MY BODY AND YOUR REALLY ASKING ME IF IM OKAY!?!??"

Is what I said. In my head.

But what I actually said was.

"Y-Yeah.. I'm fine..."

And yeah. That's one of my most embarrassing moments. 😂

I may have gone a tad bit over board with the whole "dramatic theme" but it was actually what happened!

Also, one time, I was at the front door and I was bending down to tie my shoelace before going to school, and then when I got up, my head hit the door knob really hard... and every time I combed my hair, it would hurt. I wouldn't count that as an embarrassing moment, but the story is pretty embarrassing.

And yeah! The gym story may not be my MOST embarrassing moment, but I was still embarrassed 😂

Thanks for asking PIKA_POWER_GIRL !!!!
