Well in Level Up, Lance tutored Keith in Spanish over video chat. Afterwards Keith apologized for keeping Lance from his homework and offered to help him in return. And Lance held up his Latin homework and said something like "unless you know Latin I don't think you can." Keith was surprised and asked why Lance was in AP Latin. Lance said his school only offered Spanish, or if you passed a special Spanish test you could take Latin. I had his school do that because that's how my school did it. I also wanted to make Lance smart in the story. The show often makes him the dumb silly one. But he has so much potential. So I wanted to put him in a AP class. Keith said he would've taken Spanish for the easy A but Lance says he likes the challenge.

I then decided to use this random thing to my advantage in Game Over. Cryptic Latin messages really help build up the suspense.

Here's a little teaser for you. Keith will find out who the bad guys are before everyone else does but he keeps it a secret. He has his reasons.
