Spirit: that depends on what kind of hug

Sassy: basically I stay put when he hugs me

Me: I haven't received a hug from him *grows mushrooms on my back facing a corner*

Spirit: usually I hug him back

Sassy: um is author ok she's in the corner 

Spirit: she's perfectly fine

Sassy: if you say so

Spirit: author has received hugs from Toby, mainly because he's trying to comfort her

Sassy: typically he does that when there's a storm or when she has a nightmare
