Well... This is a difficult question, but i find harems are quite decent, there's nothing much to say about it.

A man can indeed get for himself many girls, at long as he doesn't have a wife or it'll violated the marriage laws.

Also, i found that maybe harem protagonists' are ppl's dreams, so there's too many fanfictions focusing on that.
