Chapter 3: Caught
~Skipping to the next week~
Pythor smirked to himself as he lead Skales, and their group of warriors, into the alleyway. Just another hour, then the plan can commence. As those thoughts ran through his head, a few of the Constrictai warriors walked through the alley way moving heavy things around.
Skales slithered over to the white snake and tapped his shoulder with his claws, "Pythor. How much longer do we have to wait? They'll never come here!"
Snapping out of his daze, Pythor turned and looked down at the blue Cobra, "They'll be here! It won't be long cause they normally come around this time. We just need to make sure that the dumpster is in the middle of the alleyway so we can jump them."
He nodded then looked over at a few Constrictai warriors that had put the dumpster in place. Bytar, one of the warriors, walked over and saluted Pythor, "The dumpsster and everything elssse iss in place."
Pythor nodded as he then called out to everyone, "Get to your positionss! Out targetss will be here shortly!" With that being said, Pythor and Skales got on opposite sides of the alley while the other warriors hid alongside it in the ground or behind things. Some of the soldiers held net and lasso guns.
Not long after he hid, the sounds of wings beating filled the air. Dust and some stray bags moved out of the way as Fang, in her wolf form, landed at the entrance of the alleyway. Shaking her large head, she layed down and splayed her right wing out.
Standing on Fang's back, Minkie came into view holding the ends of a few trash bags. Grunting softly she rolled she few trash bags that she held down Fang's wing. Sighing to herself, she then jumped and slid down the extended wing.
Her hair blew back behind her as she giggled softly. Though unknown to the two, Pythor was closest, hidden in the trash. His heart seemed to flutter softly as he watched Minkie, 'Why must she be so captivating?...' A small smile drew its way along his muzzle before he looked back at the other hidden serpentine, chuckling silently at their shocked faces from seeing the large hybrid and human girl.
The two females looked ahead at the dumpster, before looking at eachother. Fang was first to speak, shifting to her human form to have a better hold of the trash bags, "Do you think the dump truck pushed it back by accident?"
Minkie nodded as she looked at Fang, "Yeah. No doubt about that." Turrning she started to walk into the alley.
Before Fang could take a few steps in, she stopped short. She looked around humming softly as the fur on her tail raised a little, "Minkie wait.."
Frowning confused, Minke turned and looked back at her hybrid friend, "What's wrong Fang?"
Fang waved Minkie over with her tail, her voice laced with worry, "Walk next to me please.. I don't have a good feeling right now.."
Almost dropping the trash bags, Minkie jogged back over to Fang's side. Once she reached her side, she looked at her, "Fang. What is it about this place that has you on edge?"
The hybrid shrugged softly as she walked forward with Minkie carefully, "It just feels strange here... There's a bad vibe here.."
Nodding softly, Minkie looked forward as they continued. Now that she thought about it, she did get an eerie feeling here. She listened carefully as she looked around. Once they reached the the dumpster, they put the trash in.
But it didn't take long till a soda can rolled out into the open. Minnie tensed in fear before holding onto Fang tightly. The hybrid shifted to her wolf form and spun, with Minkie holding on, towards the can with bared fangs.
Slowly, Fang started walking forward growling softly. Her eyes locked onto a trash pile as she slowly lowered herself. Without warning she let out a low bark, letting the echo spread quick. On response to it, a grey tabby tomcat yowled in fear before running out of the alleyway.
Minkie jumped softly in surprise before placing a hand on her heart. A small laugh left her as she shook her head, "I-It was only a cat. Nothing more."
A small huff left Fang's muzzle as she shifted to her normal form. Her hair covered her right eye slightly as she nodded, turning to look at Minnie, "Maybe so... But I swore something else is here."
Before Minkie could respond, the two tensed up in surprise, for the deep British accent of Pythor spoke from the entrance of the alley, "And correct you are." He then turned his head slightly, and smirked towards Minkie, "Hello dear~"
A blush slowly formed on Minkie's cheeks as she turned, her eyes meeting the ones of the Anacondrai, "H-Hello."
Fang, after turning around, looked at Pythor with slit eyes, "What are you doing here?"
A chuckle made its way from the serpent as he crossed his arms behind his back, "We've come to claim our prize."
A wave of confusion washed over the females as they glanced at each other. With hesitation in her voice, Minkie stuttered softly, "W-We?"
On cue, Skales came from his spot on the other side of the alley behind them. His red, spiraled, glowing eyes glowed softly in the dark as he slowly slithered forward, "He alssso had meant me~ I had come for my prize too~"
Now it was Fang's turn to blush as she turned to Skales, her back now to Minkie's. Her ears flattened slightly as she narrowed her eyes at the Hypnobrai, "What do you both mean by prizes?"
Pythor smirked as he slithered forward, his eyes locked on Minkie, "I've come for you, blue~"
With fear starting to rise, Minkie moved closer to Fang's side. Her blush grew as she couldn't think straight from what he had said. Skales eyes glowed more as he and Pythor advanced closer to the pair. His eyes stayed locked on Fang, "And I am here for you~"
Fang could slowly feel her emotions become flooded with embarrassment. Silently, she opened a mindlink between her and Minkie, "When I move my tail against you.. I'm going to shift to my wolf form.. Then you climb on so we fly out ok?"
Nodding softly, Minkie responded back, "Ok." With that said, the two exited the link and looked towards Skales and Pythor.
Pythor held a devious smirk on his muzzle as he looked at Minkie, "If you both come with us willingly, then we ensure that you are treated respectfully." His eyes held promise, but his voice had a hint of deception in it.
The two generals were now only 15 feet away, on each side, now. They looked at each other, smirks glued to their faces as they thought their plan had paid off. Though Fang spoke up, "Like we should trust your words on that!" She then hurried into the mindlink, "Now!"
Shifting to a smaller version of her wolf form, Fang bent down as Minkie jumped up onto her back.
Pythor's eyes widened as he demanded, "Capture them!" On command, the hiding Constrictai stood, aiming their guns at Fang and Minkie.
Minkie looked around in fear as she held onto the fur along Fang's neck. As Fang leaped into the air, the guns fired, shooting lassos at them. One managed to wrap around Fang's front right paw as she tried to fly into the air.
As she squirmed and struggled, another gun shot, only barely missing the two. Veering to the left, Fang flew into a ladder that was attached to the small building on their left. Gripping onto the bars, she climbed up the ladder the best she could with her 3 paws.
When the two reached the top, Minkie hopped of Fang. Spinning around she pulled the lasso off of Fang's paw, letting it fall to the serpentine below. Panting softly, Fang climbed the rest of the way onto the rooftop and looked at Minkie smiling, "Thanks. My paw was starting to ache."
Minkie nodded as she reached up, petting behind Fang's ear, "You're welcome Fang! Now lets get home."
Chuckling softly, Fang nodded and lowered herself, "Alrighty!" When she was low enough, Minkie hopped on easily, holding onto the fur of her neck to stay on. As Fang began to run forward they smiled to themselves, excited to go back to the bounty.
But just before Fang could take the leap to fly, a lasso shot out in front of her, forcing her head to go through the lasso's hole. A startled yelp escaped Fang as the rope was then tugged back making her stand on her back paws. As she staggered back, Minkie held on tighter, leaning forward so she doesn't fall.
But when Fang's winged flapped to keep her up, the grip Minkie was holding slowly faltered. As the two were pulled back to the edge they were running from, Pythor grinned seeing Minkie. His eyes narrowed as he went forward, ready to catch her in his arms.
Then time went slow as Minkie fell off. Her eyes wide with fear as she tried to reach for Fang. When the hybrid felt her off, she spun on her paws and reached as far as she could with her tail towards Minkie. But even with them both trying, Minkie's fingertips were only a few inches from the tail to grab.
Screaming in fear, Minkie fell towards the ground and serpentine. But when she thought she was close to hitting the ground, a pair of white scaley arms caught her bridal style. Tensing in fear, the shaking female slowly opened her eyes, her own meeting violet ones.
Pythor grinned at her before reaching, "Hello darling~" Before she could scream out, he reached with his tail and pressed the pressure point on her wrist, knocking her out. Chuckling softly, he turned to Skales before backing up grinning, "Now your turn Skales. That one isss going to put a bigger fight."
Skales rolled his spiraling eyes before slithering forward, "I will have her one way or another." Looking towards the Constrictai, he grinned, "Shoot more at her to make her imobile! It'll make it quicker and ssswifter to get her down!"
The Constrictai who shot Minkie nodded before grabbing his gun. Aiming it up high, he shot, grinning as the lasso shot up and over Fang's head. When the lasso was around Fang's neck, a startled yelp sounded as she was yanked to the side instead of back.
Stumbling over her paws, Fang whimpered as she slipped off the roof and fell to the ground. Luckily due to her size, she landed on her side with a grunt of pain. Opening her miscolored eyes, she growled looking dizzily at the Constrictai as they started to surround her.
Baring her fangs, she leaped towards one before being yanked back as a lasso caught her paw. Her ears flattened in fear as the rope pulled her left paw under her right arm, forcing her down. Squirming hard, she failed to notice Skales slithering behind her.
But when she felt his hand on her neck, her fur stood straight as she tensed. Looking back at him, heat rose under her fur, "G-Get your hand off me!" Lashing her tail, she forced one of the spikes under her fur to hit his tail.
A surprised hiss of pain left Skales before he pressed a pressure point on Fang's neck quick, "Nighty night~" Almost right after he hit the point, Fang went limp on her stomach. As she was knocked out, she turned to her human form unconsciously.
Skales grinned before picking her up the best he could before looking at Pythor, "Shall we bring them home?~"
Pythor chuckled low as he held Minkie closer to him, "Indeed we shall~"
While holding their 'prizes' they slithered together with the Constrictai to a waiting bus. When they reached the bus, they got on and headed towards Ouraborus.
