-AJ. A play on his initials. Initially he didn't respond to this but soon became accustomed to it and began to respond to it. Once again, mainly one group of people call him that: the few friends he has

"Oh, I'm sorry, was... I supposed to care?"

Personality: Axel is something else, to say the very least. He is often times considered as one of these things, if not all. Charming, inconsiderate, insincere, flirtatious, badass. Now, he is all of these things, yes, but he has his own issues as well.

His insincerity is a learned habit due to what he grew up watching, which, was his father and mother often arguing or his father blatantly disregarding his mother. This taught young Axel feelings weren't needed for anything, and he could rule this world if he wanted. Of course, after his mother left them, things began to get a bit more rocky than ever before between the father-son duo. His father showed lack of remorse or empathy for any cruel word he said as well as for the few times he had hit Axel. The apologies given to him were meaningless, and insincere, just a way to get his son out of the house or away from him. And that was what Axel did. He never cared about anyone else, why should he?

Often seen as charming, this is partly due to his good looks. His eyes seem to penetrate walls and solid objects, and some used to say growing up it felt like looking at the devil. Maybe he was the devil. He learned to speak smoothly, charismatically and nonchalantly in just about every single situation he found himself in. Of course, this meant that should he find himself in trouble, he would find a way out. And let a scapegoat take the fall. Every kid watches tv growing up, and his learned behavior was watching shows where being bad was being strong and getting what he wanted. And that was the behavior drilled into his mind at a very young age.

Viewed as inconsiderate, this is just due to a single accident in school. He had accidentally knocked a kid his age over, nodded and went on. But when told he was in the hospital, Axel didn't blink, seem to show any emotion. A monster is what he was. He didn't care. He didn't know better. He was 9, at the time, so a few years before his mother left him alone with his father. From then on everyone assumed he was nothing more than an inconsiderate beast, and often found the worst ways to incite guilt. Which is where his being icy came from.

Flirtatious and dashing, he has quite the tongue of silver. Both men and women fall for his honeyed words and sweet gestures. Of course, he doesn't really mean it. He's just lookin for some fun. Yet again, insincerity at it's finest. Not that he cares. Hearts are toys for him to play with. After getting his heart broken in high school by his first love, Angela Correa, he soon followed the suit. Men and women fall to his feet, and can only dream of being with him, but never will have the chance. He's a shameless flirt and knows it. He will use what power he has over your heart and emotions to get what he wants or needs out of you, before dropping you just like that. Many call it unfair, and it is, how he toyed. However, his arrogance, his need for control over a person is satisfied, and that's all that matters.

His badass persona is just that. A persona. He doesn't really have the time, nor the energy to explain himself. No one would care to listen anyways. Why would they? He supposed it is because he pushes them all away before they get too close, his fear of being left behind again peeking through his seemingly strong and unbothered persona. However, he does have some soft in him. Not a lot. But enough to get him through the day.

Many don't see how loyal he is to those who truly stick around and care for him. Yk those who are there when he's at his most vulnerable and broken. He doesn't want others to see him weak, because when he is weak, there is no chance to regain his image after that. He does handstands to stop tears from flowing, and often times is never home due to a strained relationship with his father. But he doesn't explain himself. He's the person everyone knows, but doesn't take the time to genuinely know him.

Essentially, complicated boy with a quite complicated heart.

Backstory: He was born to Lina and Jacob Locke on July 4th. Growing up, his parents were always fighting, and his father was rarely around. Due to financial difficulties, Lina was done. She was done with the emotional pain. The mental pain that Jacob put her through and left. Even though a little Axel clung to her leg, she shook him off and left. About three years later, it was learned she took the last name Hudgins and had remarried. This infuriated Jacob, and for years he always blamed Axel. When he was sixteen, he met a girl named Angela Correa, and was convinced she would be the reason he got through the hell at home. He couldn't be more wrong. On their second anniversary, he went to their house only to see her with someone else. Heartbroken and already feeling years of trauma boiling to the surface, it wasn't long before he struck his father at home after being blamed yet again for the disappearance of Lina. Having had enough, he struck his father before fleeing and crashing with a friend. Since then, he was rarely home.

-he has one on his left forearm of a black and white forest. He just likes the coloration, and so he got it as a way to keep it together.

-always carrying a gun around. You never know when you will get into a fight and need to sue it to get away. He hopes that day never comes however.
