Hundreds upon hundreds of questions filled your mind as you stared at the dirty blond man before you.

It wasn't possible....

You knew for a fact that there was no way Taehyung could be behind this...He was a human being...at least you thought he was.

Uncertainty flashed through you, causing your heart to begin to beat rapidly...This cannot be happening...

You watched as a smirk lit up the former Pharaoh's face, your bright blue eyes staring at him in pure horror.

How were you supposed to react in a situation like this? Were you supposed to scream at him? Were you supposed to cry or maybe even drop kick him in the throat?

A familiar feeling of dread shot through you as the young royal stepped even closer to you, taking a deep breath through his nose.

Was he smelling you?

You instantly moved yourself backwards, a hard glare on your face.

"Stop." You ordered.

Your assertive tone seemed to catch his attention, his eyebrows shooting up in a mixture of shock and amusement....You almost scoffed. He thought this was funny.

Typical.

Your voice only momentarily deterred Taehyung from his original task, his body once again stalking towards yours as his chocolate brown iris' scanned your figure up and down, his tongue darting out to wet his lips.

You raised your hand in front of you, eyes hard and stern.

You were not going to back down.

"If you take one more step, so help me god, I will chop your balls off."

This seemed to take an immediate effect on the man before you, his body moving away from your own at a high speed.

You sighed inwardly, relieved that your tactic actually worked.

Slowly, you rose your blue eyes to meet his, your arms crossing over your chest as you studied his face closely.

A chuckle escaped his lips, his shoulders shaking as a deep laugh emitted from him, eyes staring at you fondly.

"Aten had mentioned that you were fiery, but I never expected this."

Your eyebrows shot up at his words. There was something extremely odd going on here. His voice....it wasn't right...it was darker...it was sinister.

"Who are you?" You inquired bluntly.

He smiled widely, once again moving closer to you, only this time...you didn't move away. You didn't have to...he knew what would happen if he went too far.

Bye bye, babymaker.

"I am whoever you want me to be, my sweet." He stated, voice sounding as smooth as velvet.

You swallowed hard, closing your eyes in an attempt to wrap your head around everything that was going on around you and taking a deep breath to calm your nerves.

"You're Anubis." You said, opening your eyes and sending him an icy blue glare.

You watched as a smug smile crossed over his features, his big, brown eyes that once held innocence were now filled with only darkness.

You could feel your knees shaking under his intense gaze. Even if he didn't look like the monster you had seen in your nightmares...you could still feel the exact fear you felt that night..

"You're very smart, my pet."

"I'm not your pet." You growled as he reached out, grabbing a strand of your h/c locks and twisting it around his ringed finger.

"Oh, but you are." He purred. "You see, goddess....I am the most powerful being on the Earth ...I am the moon and the stars...I am sunset and sunrise...I am almighty. I control your fate and the fate of everyone else around you..."

You sneered at him, your fists clenching at your sides as you struggled to not punch this guy in the face.

"If you're so freaking awesome, then why are you stuck living in a hole in the ground?" You asked viciously. "Oh wait. It's because you're weak and useless. You wouldn't even be alive if it weren't for your "followers". You're pathetic."

A loud animalistic growl resounded from the man in front of you, a splash of dark gold flashing through his brown eyes.

"I could kill you." He stated, voice heavy with anger. "All I have to do is snap my fingers."

You took a step closer, aura screaming confidence as you glared down the monster before you.

"Do it, then. I am not afraid of you."

His eyebrow twitched in annoyance, jaw clenching as he ground his teeth together in pure, unadulterated anger.

You didn't even flinch when his closed fist slammed into the stone pillar behind you, leaving a large hole where his hand was, his breathing deep as his eyes burned holes into yours.

"You will submit to me." He spoke dangerously low. "I have ways of making you obey."

"Never." You spat. "I'll find a way out of this place."

A dark smile appeared on his face at your answer, his eyes glazed over with a fury that you had never experienced before.

"Did you really fall for my little trick?"

Your brows furrowed together in confusion, blue eyes scanning over his face for some sort of hidden meaning he was trying to convey.

A loud roar of laughter left his lips, sending shivers down your spine. He really was crazy.

You could only watch as he slowly regained his composure, eyes slowly moving to meet your once again.

"Oh, darling," He started. "Do you really believe that Yoongi is going to find you?"

You swallowed hard, eyes widening slightly at his words...you had to remain calm...you could not give him a reaction.

"O-Of course, he is the head of the royal guard-"

"Oh, no. I do not speak of that Yoongi..."

Your stomach dropped to your feet at his words. He couldn't know about the other dimensions. There was absolutely no way that was even possible...Writer had told you that you were the only one on Earth who would ever know.

"I do not know what you're talking about." You lied.

He only chuckled at your response.

"I was so worried y/n. You just disappeared, none of us knew where you were or-or if you were even coming back."

Your sweaty hands began to shake at his words...Those were the words that Yoongi had spoken to you in the pocket dimension....he knew what he said...and he sounded just like him.

That was Yoongi's voice.

"H-How did you-"

You couldn't even bring yourself to finish your question. Reality was beginning to crush you, all of your realizations crashing down on you all at once.

Yoongi was never there...he had never traveled from his dimension, he had never found you...it was all a trick....a sick, cruel joke.

Your stomach was turning inside of you..you felt like you were going to throw up.

"Awww, pet." Taehyung's- or should I say Anubis', voice rang out upon seeing your shocked expression. "I know it was a cruel thing to do, but I had to know if my theory was correct...and it was."

Your tear-filled blue eyes slowly moved to meet his, your mind never forming any words.

He merely smiled at you, placing his hand on your cheek and using the pad of his thumb to stroke the apple of your cheek.

"I knew that there were more worlds than this one...more kingdoms to rule over..more land to take...the second I felt your presence I could sense that there was something different...special about you...why do you think I had my Followers put the bracelet on you while you slept?"

Oh god.

You had gotten everything wrong...

Writer didn't put the bracelet on you...Anubis did.

That's why you couldn't leave the palace...

"I have finally retrieved you as I promised I would in your dreams, and when the planets align, you and I will be bonded together and we shall rule over all of the realms for eternity."

You still couldn't bring yourself to respond to him, your body was in such a state of shock after learning the truth about the pocket dimension. Dread slowly overtook you...would you ever be able to leave this place?

"Listen, darling," Anubis cooed, moving your chin until your eyes met his...you almost allowed yourself to get lost in the dark eyes that you had come to adore so. "I do nt wish this to be unpleasant...I can take any form you wish...whether it be the young royal...or the king from the other realm...anything you ask...I shall give."

Those words caused something to snap in you, anger swelled up inside of you like hot coals.

How dare he?

How dare he think that he can treat you in such a way and then attempt to bribe you with different facial features. He was a monster..plain and simple...he had no kindness and no heart...and you were not going to be bonded to something as evil as him for all eternity.

Anubis smiled at your silence...his feet taking another step closer to you.

And that's when you decided....

that he was too close.

You jerked your knee from the ground, jabbing him directly where the sun didn't shine.

The god released a loud howl of pain, his hand falling from your face and his knees giving out beneath him.

You almost laughed at you watched him roll around in pain.

He got what he deserved.

"Pervert." You mumbled as you rubbed your wrist, eyeing the door you had entered through.

It was time you got out of there.

It was time to go back home.

It was time to escape.
