The story starts with....
Shikhar seen at a party scene [Abhi to Party Shru Hui Hai song plays] and enjoying much. He gets a call from his close friend Rashi and makes a lie on studying but soon gets surprised to find her there. She scolds him and also his friend Aakash. Shikhar asks her to join him but she continues to be angry and leaves. She reminds him with her taunt that all the devils are there instead of hell.

Shikhar drinks with Aakash and wonders why good things come to end. Aakash pulls the leg of Shikhar by suggesting on his failure. Aakash speaks about himself in having full plan: first college, then MBA and followed by his own band.
He asks Shikhar why he is not listening to Rashi and suggests he needs to be serious. Shikhar speaks of not keeping plans and doesn't worry about future. Next morning, Shikhar meets Rashi at the college library and apologizes to her for the last night. She asks whether he informed his parents on roaming in the night and not studying, and advices him to get serious and think about his future.

He talks about not having fear in life. She suggests to him on keeping focus in life and then changes the topic asking him for his help. She learns that he aspires to a famous photographer and thus wants to become a photographer for her article for a magazine. Shikhar agrees after learns on taking photos of emerging badminton girl players. Next, Shikhar goes to take photos of the girls playing badminton. [Ise Dant Se Bhagoo.. song plays]. He takes their photos posing with trophy and also gets happy to get a girl's phone no. Rashi reminds him again on studies to become photograper and also passing the exams. She convinces him to study with her and later comes to his home in the morning and makes him come out of sleep. Both starts to work on the presentation while he does funny things.

Later, he is seen with a girl Neha and talks about focus in life and replays words told by Rashi earlier. He holds her hand while speaking and receives a compliment. Rashi finds him flirting with Neha and comes to meet. Shikhar gets worried with Neha start to flatter about him infront of Rashi and soon he makes an excuse to leave. Aakash is also there and he asks Rashi on the need to open-up with Shikhar on her feelings.

Rashi is seen with Shikhar who calls her as the most important person in his life and calls her awesome. Both spend time together while taking coffee. She speaks of the last day of college tomorrow and he asks why graduation studies is only for 3 years. She gets confidence and opens-up to speak on liking him. He apologizes to her and she confesses her love to him. Still, Shikhar shows nervousness and she then realizes about his feelings and asks him to forget since whatever she said was spoken with her heart. She makes an excuse and leaves with dejection. [Gustakh Dil.. song plays]. Next day, the last day of college comes and she tries to avoid him.

They write their exams and later after the exam he speaks to her on sorting out the problem. She asks him to forget what she has said and they will be in touch. He speaks of not forgetting her and even if he wants he cannot forget her. She gets teary eyed and he also presents a photo frame with his photo with her and Aakash in candid pose. She hugs him with outpouring emotions on that note.

While Shikhar went to Mumbai to carry work as photographer, Rashi became content editor of online portal. Shikhar wakes up at his home in Mumbai and prepares to get ready to reach the studio and still keeps memories with the photo frame with Rashi & Aakash. Shikhar takes photo of model at studio [Iahi mera jiya aaye song plays] and continues to flirt with girls in parties and even goes on to share the bed. Later on, Shikhar gets a call from Aakash and learns of his marriage next month in Goa. Shikhar asks Aakash about Rashi and is informed that Rashi is also invited and hope she will come. Aakash reminds Shikhar on Rashi having feelings for him and gives credit to her on passing in exams then. Aakash finds Shikhar partying with girls in much awe of him and thus thinks Shikhar will not change. Shikhar continues on with his work [Jeene Ki Yeh kaisi Aadat Lagi.. Is Lamhe Ne Thani.. song plays] but soon starts to get not interested in keeping On/Off relationship with girls.

He doesn't find interest in parties either. He goes on to drink and looks upset and finds solace in the photo frame. Soon, he receives Aakash's call who reminds him in coming to Goa.

Next, Shikhar comes to Aakash's destination wedding place in Goa and meets his to-be bride Priya. Soon, Shikhar finds Rashi arriving there. Rashi greets Aakash and soon comes to know of Shikhar being there. She greets Shikhar and when he hugs her she carries nervousness. He makes a comment on liking beauiful girls even now to suggest he is like before. Soon, he gets a big surprise to know about Gaurav - Rashi's fiance. Gaurav seems to be in hurry and speaks of urgently going back as he has scheduled meetings. Gaurav asks Rashi to attend the remaining functions including Sangeet and soon he leaves. Shikhar comes to meet Rashi and talks on how her life is going on with fiance Gaurav and hints it is boring. She suggests Gaurav is not boring and doesn't want his knowledge.

Shikhar talks about his desire to have own Ad agency and also speaks of not interested in affair with girls. He asks how she fell in love with Gaurav. She replies in three months she is going to get married and Gaurav is the son of her father's friend. Later, Shikhar and Rashi find an opportunity to dance togetehr and both share eyelock [Kabira song plays]. She gets teary eyed and runs away from him. Both later meet again in the night and she speaks of not believing in regrets. He speaks of also going with the flow and doesn't keep regrets but has one regret. She asks more about it and he asks her to find out since she is smart enough. He talks on realizing that thing after leaving from her. He speaks of dating many girls but still felt incomplete as he thinks of seeing her in them and therefore didn't get them. He realized such feeling after long time.

Rashi reminds its too late but he suggests its never late in love. He confesses his love - I love youmessage. She suggets its not possible since she is already engaged. He speaks of having chance but she suggests him to leave that topic and leaves. Shikar later meets Aakash who asks him to respect her decision. Aakash suggests him to look into matter with Rashi after his marriage, and Shikhar pulls the leg by calling him selfish. Later, Rashi meets Gaurav who speaks demeaning words - bad, lower class about Shikhar and also speaks in aggressive voice with her. He asks her to leave the city by tomorrow since he is not going to tolerate her teenage friends.

She gets upset and informs him on not leaving the city and instead he will leave because of his misogynist thoughts. Meanwhile, Shikhar continues to share worry with Aakash and thinks he is left alone [PTKK song plays]. Rashi comes to him and speaks on giving him company if he is interested and doesn't mind. He gets glad to see her and speaks of knowing that she can't love Gaurav who is more serious about timetables than her. He apologizes to her on wasting time since they would have married even earlier than Aakash. Shikar goes on to propose to Rashi asking whether she wants to becomes Mrs. Rashi Arora by going down on his knees. She speaks of waiting for him and he talks about not having regrets in life anymore. Both confesses their love for each other followed by a warm hug to become lovestruck. Shikhar and Rashi's love story ends on that happy note.
