Chapter 31
Hello everyone!
Riddhima - Papa, stop crying!
I'm fine.
Manish You just take rest. Don't you dare do any work today.
Riddhima - Yes boss.
She gave him a salute, giggling softly and he smiled, patting her head. Sejal walked in, confused at the scene.
Sejal - What is going on
without me?
Riddhima - Nothing. Just Papa taking tension about me.
Riddhima shrugged, shaking
her head dramatically.
Sejal - Papa, don't. She is a
fighter, a stubborn fighter.
Hearing this, the two laughed. Suddenly an idea struck Sejal.
Sejal - Let's go out ! Just the
three of us.
Riddhima - Good idea. Let's
go !
Manish refused to go at
first, but finally gave in after receiving the puppy eye look from his daughters.
Manish - Okay, fine. We'll go out for lunch and come back in the evening. That's all!
The girls, looking at each
other, grinned brightly.
Riddhima - Yes sir. Nothing else is needed.
Unable to hold their happiness, the girls jumped on him and hugged him tightly.

After spending one week with her family, Riddhima finally decided to confront Vansh. She wanted to talk to him, hug him, and confess her love towards him. She called him and asked him to meet.
The evening sky was painted with hues of gold, amber, and violet, casting a serene glow over the sprawling garden. The air was heavy with the lingering scent of flowers from the garden. The soft glow of the setting sun illuminated the quiet garden, casting long shadows over the lush greenery. In the midst of this serene beauty stood Riddhima, waiting for him. The man whom she loved from the bottom of her heart. She was torn between the pain of the past and the love that had always been so strong.
When Vansh entered the garden. He watched her from a distance, his hands clenched into fists at his sides. The weight of his past mistakes hung heavily on him. He had hurt her—betrayed her trust—yet she had stood by him through it all. But now, the silence between them felt like an insurmountable wall.
He took a step forward, his voice trembling as he called out to her. “Riddhima,” he said, his words soft but full of regret, “I know I’ve hurt you. I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness, but I can’t live with myself if I don’t make things right with you.”
Riddhima didn’t turn to face him immediately, her back still to him as she gazed at the horizon. The colors of the setting sun reflected in her eyes, creating a world that felt as beautiful and fleeting as the love they had shared. She closed her eyes, as if letting the cool breeze wash over her, collecting her thoughts.
Slowly, she turned to face him. Her heart was aching, yet there was a softness in her eyes that made Vansh feel a flicker of hope. She stepped closer to him, her voice barely above a whisper, but it cut through the air like a sharp breeze.
“Vansh…” she began, her voice laced with both pain and understanding. “I’ve spent so much time hating you for the lies, the betrayal. For all the times you pushed me away. But in the end, I realized something.” She paused, her chest tightening with every word. “I’ve always loved you. And despite everything, I still do. I hate the hurt you caused, but I can't deny what’s in my heart.”
Vansh’s eyes widened in shock, disbelief mingling with the intense longing in his gaze. “Riddhima…” he said, stepping closer, his voice shaking with emotion. “You still love me after everything I’ve done?”
She nodded slowly, the pain of the past still visible in her eyes, but there was something more—hope, a quiet surrender to the love that had never truly faded. “Yes,” she whispered. “I love you, Vansh. I never stopped.”
A tear slipped down her cheek, and before she could wipe it away, Vansh gently cupped her face with his hands, his thumbs brushing away her tear. “I’m so sorry, Riddhima. I’m so sorry for everything,” he said, his voice breaking. “You deserve more than the pain I’ve caused you. But I promise you, I will spend every day of my life making it up to you. I will prove to you that my love for you is real.”
Riddhima placed her hand over his, holding it to her cheek as she gazed up at him, her heart pounding in her chest. “I believe you, Vansh. I see the man you are now, and that’s the man I’ve always loved.”
A small, tentative smile tugged at his lips, his eyes softening with the tenderness he had kept hidden for so long. “Riddhima,” he said, his voice filled with conviction, “I can’t imagine a life without you. I know I’ve failed you before, but I swear I’ll never make the same mistake again.”
He dropped to one knee in front of her, his heart racing. The world around them seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them in the moment. “Riddhima,” he whispered, his voice thick with emotion, “will you marry me? Will you give me a chance to prove that I am worthy of your love?”
Riddhima’s breath caught in her throat as she looked down at him, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. Her heart was soaring, her love for him as strong as ever, but this was the moment she had waited for—the moment where she knew that despite everything, they had both chosen each other.
“Yes, Vansh,” she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. “I will marry you. I will always be yours.”
With that, he stood up, pulling her into his arms, holding her tightly as if he never wanted to let go. The soft breeze danced around them, carrying their promises of love and a future together. He kissed her forehead, his voice a soft murmur against her skin. “I love you, Riddhima. I always have, and I always will.”
“I love you too, Vansh,” she replied, her heart full. “Now, and forever.”
And as they stood there, surrounded by the fading colors of the evening, they knew that their love, though tested, was stronger than ever. Together, they would face the future, hand in hand, knowing that the past was behind them, and their new beginning was just beginning.
