Prachi kept staring at Ranbir which made him think that she doesn't need his company any longer. He started walking away with a dejected face.

"Stop"

The voice made him whirl around.

"Where are you going? Don't we go to the classes together?" Prachi smiled at him.

"Prachi! I....You....." he kept shuttering in happiness not knowing what to say exactly.

"I decided to remain cautious of strangers not my friends. If I have learnt something is that you are one of my genuine friends and I can trust you. So, don't even dare of breaking our friendship again." she replied.

"Thank you so much Prachi. I promise that I'll never break your trust." Ranbir said while giving a dazzling smile.

Both of them left for their class chatting and laughing, a beautiful bond developing between the two souls.

Unknown to them, Rhea had listened to their entire conversation. She wondered what had happened with Prachi.

Ranbir and Prachi had just emerged out of the classroom and were moving towards the library when someone blocked their path. 

"So, you do have the some guts. I didn't expect you to come today, shouldn't you have been a home crying?" Aarav mocked.

Ranbir's fists curled in anger and he was about to speak something when Prachi held his hand to forbid him.

"No one bothers what a moron like you thinks. Keep your stupid thoughts to yourself.  Be happy that you have witnessed only the sweet side of Prachi Arora. Don't try to meddle in my life or I won't be quiet the next time." Prachi said and proceeded with full confidence pushing him aside.

"Don't forget that I'm always there to back her up. So, better be safe than sorry." Ranbir added before going off behind Prachi.

Aarav had never been humiliated by a girl in his life. He wanted to take revenge badly but he was helpless. Vicky had been arrested. They had always used their status to get out of the mess created by them but this time it was different. The police were bound to act this time as Ranbir Kohli and Aryan Khanna had lodged a complaint against Vicky and they had solid proofs against him. Though, there was nothing to prove that he was guilty too, the police had kept him under watch.

Rhea was sitting in her room, lost in some thoughts when Alia entered.

"What are you thinking darling?" Alia asked sitting beside her.

"Prachi....." Rhea replied.

"What about her? Did she try to come close to Ranbir again?" Alia said furiously.

"I'm not thinking about that. Do you know what happened to her? There is a guy named Aarav in our college. He tricked her and tried to rape her. Ranbir reached in time and saved her. It's unbelievable!" Rhea said feeling genuinely sorry for Prachi. Rhea had used her sources to find about the incident. She felt as if Prachi was someone close to her.

"You should be happy about it dear." Alia said.

"What? How can I be happy being a woman myself after hearing this?" Rhea was shocked and angry at Alia's statement.

"I mean, you know that Aarav will surely want to take revenge. You can befriend him and then use him to separate Ranbir from Prachi. Weren't you telling me that day that Ranbir is becoming attached to Prachi." Alia spoke in a fashion so as not to turn Rhea against her.

"I think you are right bhooji. I like Ranbir and I don't want anyone to snatch him away from me." she replied.

Ranbir too was thinking something in his room.

"Where are you lost bro?" Aryan questioned after seeing Ranbir so silent for such a long time.

"I was thinking about Prachi. She is really brave to face such an horrible ordeal and yet act normal. She is trying her best but I know she has become a bit hesitant now." Ranbir said sadly.

"What will you do about it?" Aryan asked.

"I will make her come out of the shell and teach her to live the carefree life once again." Ranbir said determinedly.

"How will you do that?"

"I don't know. But, I will start my work at the camping trip."

"Do you think she will come?" he questioned.

"I will make her. She won't be able to refuse me." Ranbir said with determination in his eyes.
