At Goenka Villa:-

Vedika- rishta toh door ki baat hai dadi, Inhe toh vada bhi nibhana nahi aata.(Relation is a far fetched thing, they do not even keep their promises)

Everyone was shocked at Vedika's statement. Kartik looked up at her in astonishment and in anger but there was someone else too who was boiling in anger...

And then, something unexpected happened and it shook the whole house. Vedika received a tight slap which shocked her to the core and the slap was given by none other than our favourite Gayu Di..... Gayu was boiling in anger the way Vedika commented about Naira. Yes she was angry at Naira because she missed her and was upset that Naira did not tell her anything about it but how dare this Vedika talk about Naira like this. Gayu could not hear a single word against Naira from Vedika as she doesn't have the right to do so.....

Gayu- How dare you speak about Naira like this? Who gave you the right to comment on naira? Who are you to speak about her like this. You do not have the right to speak to her like this? Till the time Dadi was blaming her, I kept quite but you...Just stay in your limits and the next time you utter a single word against Naira, I will pull your tongue....understood?

Gayu roared and Kartik saw another lioness in her.'Both the sisters are lioness' he thought to himself. A small smile crept on his face as he sat on the sofa there, consoling Lisa. Samarth was smiling to see Gayu so confident and bold. Although both Samarth and Gayu were a little angry at Naira but they understood her dilemma and were the only supporters of her after swarna in the Goenka house.

Dadi(angrily)- Naira ne vedika ki zindagi barbaad kari hai. Uski shaadi ke beech mein aa kar usse aur kartik ko door kara hai. Isiliye Vedika ko poora hak hai uske baare mein kuch bhi kehne ka. Aur uska hak koi nahi chheen sakta usse. Naira ne galti ki hai toh usse saza milegi. Humare parpote ko humse door.....( Naira has spoiled Vedika's life by coming in between her and Kartik's marriage. She made Kartik away from Vedika. So Vedika has the right to say anything about Naira. And no one can snatch her right from her. Naira has done a mistake so she will be punsihed. She kept my great grandson away from me....)

But dadi was cut off in the middle of her talk by Gayu. Gayu was full of anger. She had seen this behaviour of Dadi from the beginning, when Kartik and Naira were getting married. But this time she was not going to let Naira suffer. This time she was not going to keep quiet.

Gayu- Naira has not spoiled Vedika's life. In fact, she has not spoiled anyone's life but you all have made her life a living hell!( gayu said turning towards everyone present there) If naira has committed a mistake then you all also have committed mistakes but you all were forgiven then why not Naira? Swarna bhabhi kept her other son away from you all for about 28 years  but she was forgiven in a day. Dadi tried to change the sex of naira's baby illegally but alas, she was forgiven. You all threw Naira out of the house during raghav's incident. If it had been not for Kartik, Naira would have died on that day itself but still she forgave you all. You all kept on committing mistakes and Naira kept on forgiving you all but now when it is your turn you all are acting like you all are the purest and have not committed a single mistake and Naira is a criminal? This was your love for Naira? And if Naira did a mistake by leaving you all, did kartik not do a mistake by asking her that question? By questioning her character? By breaking the confidence of the same person he used to say he loved the most?( Gayu turns towards Kartik) Why did you do so Kartik? Why did you hurt my sister?whyyyyy?

Kartik lowered his eyes. He knew he and Naira both were wrong. Gayu's words even hit Manish and he remembered the times when Naira had helped them and forgiven them for their mistakes, when Naira had united Kartik and him.  He knew the way he behaved with Naira was wrong and everyone commits mistakes. There was pin  drop silence in the hall after Gayu's outburst. She was tired of seeing naira suffering due to them always. How she hoped that Naira would have never married Kartik and never came in this house. She had always got tears here. She never got any happiness... But there were 2 people who still were not convinced by Gayu. They were none other than Vedika and our dear Dadi... and then dadi finally spoke breaking the silence.

Dadi- Agar kittu se galti hui hai toh usse apni galti ki saza mil chuki hai. Apne bete ka bachpan gawaya hai usne. Naira ke liye roz tadpa hai. Roz roya hai. Itne saalon mein kabhi usse khul kar hasta hua nahi dekha. Par Naira, woh toh khush thi na apni zindagi mein. Apne bacche ke saath, apni dost ke saath...(If kittu was at fault, then he has got the punishment for it. He missed the growing years of his child's life. He used to yearn for Naira everyday. He has never laughed in all these years. But Naira, she was happy in her life! With her son, with her friend....)

"Toh apko kya lagta hai aunty? Naira ko saza nahi mili?" came a voice and voice was of none other than but of Lisa. Now it was her turn to give them a reality check. She too was tired of their constant blames upon Naira. 

Lisa- Jitna apka kittu tadpa hai Naira ke liye, utni hi Naira bhi tadpi hai Kartik ke liye.( The way your kartik yearned for Naira, Naira also yearned for Kartik similarly)She used to cry all night remembering him. Sometimes, even small things like a Kachori and Frog bought tears in her eyes. I never understood it but I knew it was something related to Kartik only. She had a difficult time raising Kairav alone and also managing the expenses. Yes, she may be mentally strong but physically she was quite weak. Many a times she fainted due to stress and during Kairav's delivery she was on the verge of dying.....

Everyone was shocked hearing to Lisa's words. Kartik was dumbstruck at Lisa's claim of Naira on the verge of being dead. Tears formed in his eyes with the thought of loosing her...again....

Gayu- Why are you saying so?

Lisa- During her delivery, the doctor had said her final words that either the baby may survive or the mother. She also said that they both can die but the chances of both of them surviving were very rare, very very rare. But by God's grace, Both of them survived.( Lisa turns towards Dadi) Naira survived, maybe because she knew that she could not leave her baby alone with this selfish family.

Dadi turned her face away. Everyone was astonished and upset on hearing about Naira's struggles. Tears were continuosly flowing down through kartik and swarna's cheeks..thinking at the thought of Naira being dead. Even Gayu was crying on thinking about how her little sister had suffered due to these monsters..yes, for her, all of them standing there except Swarna bhabhi were monsters for her. There was silence but yes Dadi was still angry on her.

Dadi- par galti Naira ki thi....( But Naira was at fault....)

Kartik- bas kijiye dadi bas. Aap baar baar Naira ke peeche kyu padi rehti hai. Ha, par aap sahi keh rhi hai ki galti Naira ki thi. Galti ussi ki thi jo mere saath alag se rehne ko taiyyar nahi thi....Galti ussi ki thi jo usne aapko kabhi galat nahi kaha....Galti ussi ki thi jo usne mujhse pyaar kiya jiske paas ek aisi family hai jo kabhi bhi paraye ko apna aur fir usse paraya kar deti hai.... Aur haan,galti meri bhi thi jo maine apki baaton mein aaya aur  Naira par shak kiya...( Enough dadi, enough! Why are you always behind Naira? Yes, but you were right that it was Naira's mistake. She was at fault when she refused to stay with me, away from you all, separately. She was at fault as she never held you wrong. She was at fault as she loved the person who has a family that accepts strangers as their own in a minute and then again disowns them...And yes, it was my mistake also that I came in your talks and doubted Naira....)

Kartiks's voice choked. He was badly broken and was crying. With no strength left to fight his Dadi, he went to his room, running, without noticing that Naira was standing there only, behind the curtain, with tears in her eyes. Yes, Naira had heard everything what Kartik had said. She had come there just then, when Lisa completed her talk.

Elsewhere, Dadi and Vedika were shocked on hearing Kittu's claims against them. But Gayu had a soft smile on her face....she had understood that behind Kartik's anger, there was love.....

 So, this was all for today. I knew you all were excited about who is going to slap Vedika so I posted the next part a little sooner than I had decided. And guys please imagine Kanchi singh as Gayu and Swarna as Parul chauhan.

I have heard that the makers are planning to bring luv-kush back but this time they will be against Kaira as they hold them responsible for their parents fight and divorce. I wanted to ask whether you all would like to see luv-kush in a positive or in a negative light? Please comment your views.
