Screen opens outside Preeta's room.

Karan was worriedly knocking the door.

Karan: Preeta.......Preeta........dekho please darwaja kholo.

While inside the room,Preeta was crying hugging her knees remembering her mother.

Karan: Dekho please darwaja kholo ........Preeta .........dekho agar ab tumne darwaja nahi khola na to mein darwaja Tod dunga. Aur mein mazaak nahi kar raha hu.

Listening this Preeta looked at the door.

Karan: Mein teen Tak ginunga agr tumne darwaja nahi khola na to mein sachme darwaja Tod dunga. Ek...........Do...........Te...

And the door opened.

She looked at him with tears and went inside the room sitting on bed. He went and sat beside her. She looked at him crying miserably.

Karan: Dekho pehle tum Rona band karo aur mujhe batao kya hua hai? Itna kyu ro rahi ho?? Tumhe apne mom ki yaad aa rahi hogi na?? I know tum unhe bohot miss karti hogi na?? Lekin socho na jab wo dekhengi ki unki beti aise ro rahi hai to unhe kaisa lagega??

Preeta looked at him with her big brown eyes filled with tears.

Karan: Haa unhe bohot bura lagega ki unki beti aise ro rahi hai.

But she didn't stop crying. She while crying hugged him. He froze but later realising she was crying miserably he hugged her back and caressed her head and back in order to calm her.

After sometime she was still crying but was better and a little calm. She realised she was hugging him. She departed and said.

Preeta: Wo sorry mujhe pata nahi chala.........

Karan: It's ok.

Preeta: Tumhe pata hai jab mein 9 saal ki thi meri mom mujhe chod ke chali gayi. Mein to choti si bachi thi 9 saal ki kuch pata hi nahi tha. Mein saare bachon ko dekhti thi chutte waqt unhe unki mom lene aati thi. Lekin mere dad aate the. Mujhe kuch pata hi nahi tha. Fir jaise jaise badi hoti gayi mujhe pata lagta gaya ki maine mom ko kho dia hai. Mujhe lagta tha mein unhe feel hi nahi kar pati, unse baatein ki hi nahi kyunki mein jab 9 saal ki thi kuch pata hi nahi tha koi sense nahi tha, koi samajh nahi thi tab wo mujhe chodkar chli gyi. Mujhe unki bohot yaad aati hai.

And she started crying.

Karan: Tum Rona band karo. Tumhari mom kahi nahi gayi hai wo to tumhare saath hai , tumhare dil mein hai. Unki blessings humesha tumhare saath hai. Socho unhe tumhe dekh ke kaisa lagega?? Bura lagega na???

She nods innocently.

Karan: To fir please ab Rona band kar do.

She wipes her tears.

Karan: Ab hamein niche chalna chahiye sab tensed honge.

She nods.

They turn to go.

Karan: Ek minute (she stops) Dekho humari shaadi hone wali hai(she looks at him) hum bhale hi apne parents ke liye kar rahe hai par hum shaadi kar rahe hai jo ek bohot bada decision hota hai...........to mein chahta hu ki shaadi se pehle hum ek dusre ko ache se jaan le , pehchan le(she nods) To mein......umm.....kya tum.....

Preeta(holds his hand assuring him): Tumhe ghabrane ki jarurat nahi hai tum mujhe bata sakte ho.

Karan (nods): Mein keh raha tha (takes a deep breath) Kya tum mujhse dosti karogi?(forwards his hand) Agar tum thoda time chahti ho to I understand kisi ke liye itna asaan nahi hota itni jaldi kisi se dosti karna it's ok.

He was going to take his hand back but Preeta holds his hand and shakes it. He looks at her and then their hands and smiling shakes it.

Preeta: Mein bhi yahi soch rahi thi ki shaadi se pehle humein ek dusre ko jaan lena chahiye and thank you so much. mujhe kisi ke kandhe ki zaroorat thi aur tumne mujhe vo dia. Thank you so much once again.

Karan: Abhi tumne mujhse dosti ki aur ab tum thank you bol rahi ho, not fair. Tumhe nahi pata dosti mein no sorry no thanks.

She nods. Both go downstairs.

In hall.

Everyone looks at Preeran coming downstairs.

Raghuveer immediately goes to Preeta and hugs her.

Raghuveer: Tu thik haina??! Pata hai kitna dar gaya tha.

Preeta: Mein thik hu papa bas maa ki yaad aa gayi.

Rakhi: Puttar mein jaanti hu maa ki jagah koi nahi le sakta. Par mein hu na Karan ki maa matlab Teri bhi maa. Haa maa nahi hu par maa jaisi to hu na. Aaja .

Preeta hugs her and finds a motherly love in her embrace.

Preeta: Thank you so much aun.......(Rakhi looks at her )Rakhi maa.

Rakhi smiles.

Rakhi: Acha to ab hum chalte hai. Aur bhaisahab aap sabko kal humare ghar aana hai lunch pe. Thik hai?

Raghuveer: Ji hum zaroor aayenge.

Rakhi, Mahesh and Karan leave from there.
