Chapter 29: Did i lost you?

Khushi walked toward arnav's cabin but hesitant at the entrance. She wanted to apologize him and began taking few heavy breathe before walking inside. She felt motionless by the scene taking place in front of her eyes. A fury gripped her. She grabbed the cabin door harshly with her breathe turning hard with pain. A girl were approaching him and giving him a hug. Even though it was a formal hug but from back it look like he was equally participation.

''Asr you never change still same..sexy yet arrogant..'' She gave him a kiss leaving lipstick mark on his cheeks. Arnav was taken aback by her sudden movement. Khushi angrily turned her face and stood there hearing her words. Arnav noticed her and smirked thinking to play a little longer.

''Meera..what a pleasant surprise...you here..?'' He deliberately eyed her from top to bottom to see her reaction and khushi was boiled in red.

''It been so long we havn't spend time together..remember that night when we..'' she stated in a very seductive way and it bring tears in khushi's eyes. What rubbish is she talking about? What relation she share with him? Did they really? It create doubts in her mind. He gesture her to sit but his eyes fixed upon khushi, observing her every move. She don't want to believe her lies because she know arnav can never ditched her. He was only her's. Even though it was only a formal meeting from his side but he don't feel to correct meera statement and let khushi think whatever she want.

Khushi flinched by the way he was giving her so much attention. She bent down a little showing her exposed cleavage in the way to carrying the pen and giving him close view of her cleavage. He look away and khushi eyes went red in anger. She cannot tolerate the shit anymore and directly went inside without knocking and about to spat but stood there like a status observing them, laughing and enjoying.

''Arnav..I..-..'' Khushi clear her throat to gain his attention. But he avoided her.

''Asr I am really missing the times when we were together..'' Meera hold his hand. What the hell is she doing. She wondered and inhale some sharp breathe to calm herself. Just then she saw her approaching toward arnav. Khushi immediately shout.

''Arnavvv..'' This time her voice pitch was high. He was taken aback by her sudden voice which put full stop on meera move. She sighed.

''Khushi- when you came I didn't notice..'' He said looking at Meera. Why would he bother to look at me when his entire attention was grabbed by this Chudail!!!!! How dare she come near MY ARNAV. She feel like to rip her soul.

''Meet meera. My very special client..'' he pressed each and every word intentionally which pricked her every cell.

Who is she? She eyed at khushi clothes and rolled her eyes. ''Don't she have manners to knock before entering..baby let's go somewhere..there is so much disturbance here'' She clenched her fist in anger. He didn't say a word and look at khushi.

Khushi notice her how she is trying to attract him by her body gesture. Arnav was aware the volcano was on the verge of bursting so he quickly spoke in between.

''What you doing standing here..go and bring two cup of coffee for us..'' He said to khushi. Now it was height for her. How could he insult her like this. I'm not his secretary so that he could rule me. Her heart feel heavy and she could feel constriction on her throat.

''I m not going to follow any of your commands. and you miss Miniskirt. If you have so much hotness in your body go and expose it for some other man, don't try it to my ar...I mean to arnav..'' She spoke in a bossy tone and he raised his eyebrow in amusement. He had guess about her reaction but that much insecurity he hadn't expected.

''Excuse me..do you know with whom you are talking..I m Arnav's ex..'' That's it after hearing her last word, She lost the remaining sanity and pull her hair to drag her out of his cabin .

''Never show your face again..you bitch..'' She shut the door on her face and turned to arnav. She saw lipstick mark on his cheeks and wipe it angrily. He smile broadly and stepped toward her.

''Khushi relax.'' Her breathe was irregular. Arnav tried to cool her down but it went in vain and she started shouting.

''What relation you share with her? Is she your girlfriend? Arnav how could yo"' She was unable to spoke and look down. A tiny drop of tear rolled from her eyes.

''Don't cry I don't want to see those tears..she is only my client nothing much..'' She pushed him away.

''Are you jealous?''

''Why should I..I just don't want your reputation to get drained in front of your staff..'' She tried to hide her tears and he raised her chin making her carried her gaze.

''Accept it your heart pricked when you saw another girl close to me..wasn't you?''

''Yes.. no I won't felt anything!'' The hesitation and stammering was enough proof she was trying hard to not admit it. She was about to walk away but a sudden pull on her wrist make her loose her balance she landed on his chest.

''You have been trying to convince everyone that you don't love me but your eyes it can never hide your hidden emotions..'' His next action shocked her. He touched her cheeks and licked her tears ever so gently conveying her how much he love her. She was trembling and closed her eyes the moment she felt his lips brushed hers. He open her mouth and made a sweet love to her mouth. She melted into his raw touch and reply to his kiss equally by placing her hand on his shoulder. His other hand reach her waist and he explore each and every inch of her lips. She hissed in pleasure. The sensation of his feeling grew inside her which she felt after ages. He broke off slightly and look at her face all lost.

''Arnav..'' She whispered his name all lost. He took the charge and again started smooching her lips and her finger pulling him closer by his hairs. He know she was craving from him. He bite her lips and align her head to deepen the kiss. They were too lost in the passionate kiss that doesn't realize the time and place they were standing. His one touch already create havoc inside him. But suddenly he pull apart and gaze her tenderly who was still standing with closed eyes. He folded his arms and admire her.

''So miss khushi gupta..you still think there is no love..'' He move few step backward noticing her changed behavior. She was looking here and there.

''Yes there is nothing between us..'' she said by avoiding her gaze. He grabbed her waist and look deep into her eyes.

''The way our breathe get heavy, the way our heartbeat went rapid, the way you loose yourself for me when we were close..so close.. don't you feel anything..'' He asked in a seductive way while sliding his hand around her waist making her closed her eyes. His breathe was fanning on her face. He raised her chin and she look into his sincere eyes which was only showing love for her. She wanted to drown into his but something stopped her.

'''Bolo khushi jawab do jab main tumhare kareeb ata hu tumhe kuch nahi hota..'' (Say it khushi whenever I go close to you..don't you feel butterflies in your stomach.) When she don't say anything, his lips travelled down her neck and he began sucking and exploring her in every way to open up her feelings that is hidden behind the cage of her heart.

''Arnav..please stop'' She moaned with her hand trying to push him but he ignore it and mark her skin more passionately. Unknowingly, her hand moved by her own accord and she touched his face and put her arm around him and gave a close mouth kisses to his delicious mouth. Her response swell his heart in happiness. But there sweet moment doesn't last long. They immediately moved apart hearing a knock on the door. She looked embarrassed finding any word to say and he looked at her finding any excuse.

''I m sorry..I shouldn't cross my limits..'' Without saying a word, she ran out of the cabin.

''Farak toh padta hain..''

The clock strike 6 Pm and khushi is all set to surprise arush keeping all unwanted thoughts aside. Their hot encounter in the office was still fresh on her skin and and brain . She wanted to run away from all those wanted feeling that was blooming within her and weakening her but he is not letting her to move on. The moment arush step inside home from school, the entire crowd gathered around him and everyone started singing birthday song. He was extremely surprised and ran into her mumma arms.

Khushi pull him into his lap and kissed his cheeks lovingly.

"Happy birthday bachha...you officially turn 7 years old now..'' he smiled broadly and hugged her.

Mumma you did all this? She nodded happily but found him scanning his eyes to search something.

"Beta what happen?" She asked putting him down and bend on her knees.

"Where is Asr?" He asked curiously. Her face turn serious hearing his name. She don't have courage to face him again. Arush could feel some uneasiness on her face when he took his name.

''I don't invite him..'' Her unpleasant tone was enough to make him realize there was something happen between two which make her so disturb. He smiled inwardly and a fantastic idea came to his mind. He doesn't say a word after that and join his school friends.

The party were on full swing but Arush seems unhappy, standing in a corner and pouted his mouth sadly. Khushi feel bad. From his gesture, it seems he was upset as she don't invite his best buddy. She feel guilty and don't want to sadden Arush on his birthday. She rang arnav but unfortunately he is not picking. The party came to an end and everyone retired to their homes. On the other hand, khushi was pacing in the room and phone glued on her ear, waiting for arnav to answer her.

''Whenever I need him he also do this to me..anyways who cares. It'ss good he is not coming and I don't need to face him'' She frustratingly threw her mobile off and went to the hall to freshen arush mood whose eyes were glued at the door. Khushi bring his favorate chocolate cake but he deny to eat it.

''Are you angry with mumma?'' He slightly shake his head and she hold her ears apologetically.

''Mumma how could you forgot your promise you gave me a gift anything I ask..i don't want those useless stuffs and party..i want something which made me feel proud for you..'' She don't understand the hidden meaning on those words and pulled him closer.

''Beta I only wanted to see you happy..tell me what you want..i will do anything for you to make you smile..''

''Anything?'' He asked doubtfully and she nodded in agreement. Just then she saw a broad smile on his face by her confirmation. She was waited for him to say and he covered her eyes before giving her biggest shock of her life and warned her to not open the eyes until he won't signal her.

On the very next moment, he jumped excitedly into arnav arms and hugged him tight. Arnav kissed his cheeks and wished him happy birthday while arush grabbed Arnav's hand, guiding him toward khushi which had stil her eyes closed. Arnav was about to open his mouth to say something to interrupt him but arush sushed him. He was confused and don't know what is running in his naughty brain. Due to arush insistence, he came in khushi apartment, knowing well she won't like his presence but can't help it as he cannot deny arush request on his birthday.

''Beta I am waiting..Should I open my eyes?'' Khushi was unaware what is coming up and arush bring arnav exactly in front of khushi and took out something from his bag. He gave it to arnav and signal him to go ahead and put it as he wanted. Khushi again voiced him and he stooped her in an instant.

''No mumma..not until the task is incomplete! Arnav was confused now. His eyes popped out the moment he saw sindoor in his hand. He was shocked beyond words.

''Asr I want you to fill mumma partition with sindoor and marry her right now..'' Khushi get froze hearing his words. Her eyes flew open and she eyed at arnav and then at his hands who was holding sindoor box. Anger rose upon her.

''How dare you Arnav singh raizada..I never though you go to that extend to fulfill your intentions. What a master-minded plan you made to trapped my son..'' She clapped her hand. Her eyes went toward arush who was hiding behind arnav scared to her anger. She pull arush hand harshly and bend down to slapped him but in the very next moment arnav stopped her.

''Are you mad khushi..is this a way to treat your son?'' She jerk his hand ignoring him and turned toward arush which had tears in his tiny cubby face.

''Who is teaching you all this arush? I told you many times to stay away from this man..he is very cunning man but you never listen and doing whatever he say..''

''Mumma you promised m..'' She yelled and he was taken aback by her sudden reaction.

''Do hell with your promise..'' He shifted in fear and started shivering holding arnav legs from side. His unnecessary demand and stubbornness was raising her temper. She can't believe he could demand something like that.

''Khushi stop it..you are scaring him..''

''Shut up!'' She shouted her lungs out and pushed him by his chest making the sindoor box tripped and its color directly spread all over her head. She went dumb-folded and touched her partition which is filled with vermilion. Arush grinned in happiness and ran in the mandir and thanks the idol for fulfilling his wish getting father on his 7th birthday. '' She was shaking in anger and turn her gaze to control herself. She cannot digest the fact he filled her mang. She stare at the floor and had a argue with her mind and heart.

''khushi I am sorry for all that I know you were hurt but ..'' His words left incomplete when her rudeness arched his heart.

''Get out Arnav. Everything is over between us..I hate you..I hate you very much..your this act prove me wrong..you can never change..don't expect too much from me because I can never be yours..you can never win me..do you understand!!!!!'' Her voice increasing with anger. He gulp down the saliva in pain hearing those words.

''As your wish. From now I won't haunt you neither interfere in your personal life..within a couple of hours, Di is getting married and once it finish off I leave this city forever..'' She looked back shocked but remain unaffected.

''You think I care? Just go wherever you want but please leave me alone..i don't wish to see your face again in my life..'' It was so heart breaking. He doesn't say anything after that and left not before turning to khushi and arush for one last time.

''Be happy..'' Only he knew how he utter those words. She tried hard to remain unaffected but her heart feels pain. Once he left, she ran into her room and throw herself into bed and began weeping while playing his words.

Arush came inside and started shouting her.

''Mumma why you are punishing asr..i swear he doesn't told me anything infact he don't even know why I called him..its me who wanted you to bound with him..i wanted him my papa and now he was leaving me..mumma please stop him..i want my papa..i want asr..'' He cried and stamp his foot. khushi gave him tight hug to console. But he shrugged her off.

''I won't talk with you. You are very bad..'' He pushed her away and storm out of the room leaving behind baffled khushi.

In midnight:

Khushi was pacing in the room with her hands trembling. Hours were passed but was unable to erase his thoughts out of her mind. She was still in shocked state. She can't accepted what had happened with her and her life. She felt like she was the biggest fool in the world who don't know what her heart felt. She was restless and look at the time. Only 1 hour left for Arnav's flight to take off. At one side She wanted to get rid off of those restlessness and other side she felt pain within her heart by realizing he was leaving her. Even she had torture him still she wanted to be with him. She was fidgeting and wondering what she should do. It was her last chance to meet him. One thing was sure he was affecting her even though how much she deny. She again falling for him. She cannot take this anymore. She need to do something otherwise she will go insane. She gulped down her sorrow and prayed to devimaiya to make her forget him. But is it so easy? Arnav was her first and last love and if she loose him again, it would be more painful. She open her eyes when realization drawn upon her and she instantly wipe her tears and marched toward her destination which only leads toward her love.

Entire journey she was hell scared and panic. She requested her driver to increase the pace and look at the watch. Only few moment left. She don't want to loose him again. Hey devimaiya please help me!

She was running inside the airport maniacally to search him and reached the counter to inquire about the last flight to paris. But there was long queue around and she don't have much time to waste.. suddenly she collide with someone making the lady fall on the ground.

''I m sorry ma"' Voice stuck in her throat the moment she look at anjali who came along with her husband.

''Khushi tum..?'' She doesn't pay any attention to her. Her vacant eyes were only searching for him but he was nowhere around.

''Di where is arnav..i want to meet him..'' She asked with curiousness on her face.

''Tumne ane mein bahat der kardi..vo chala gaya tumhe chodke..'' (You took to much time to realize your feelings..he already left) She swallowed. Anjali tried every possible way to stopped him but he was so hurt. He don't want to create more fuss in khushi's life and leaving is better option. Deep down he had a hope khushi will come but when she doesn't turn up, he assume khushi don't want him anymore. Seems she doesn't wish to see him again and her last word echoed in his brain. He desperately wanted to end all and walked forward to board the flight.

Her tear escaped. There was a pin drop silence after that and she ran off. She lost him? She lost him again? How could she be so fool and childish. Her stupidity again made him loose her love again. Her eyes keep filling with tears and her vision was blur.

In her life she only fall in love once and he too leave me. Today is the last day of her survival. It was heart breaking phase of her life. She died today!
