Anushka's POV_
"Couple?" We both questioned looking at each other.
"Please come on the stage" the anchor's voice boomed through the area.
I glanced at Sahil who was looking at me and Jay with keen eyes. Suddenly a thought crossed my mind. So what if I can't cancel the date, sahil can.
"Let's go" I said to jay while trying to drag him on the stage.
"What are you doing?" He asked while glaring at me.
"We are going on the stage!" I shot back.
"Stage? I am not dancing with you!" I rolled my eyes.
"Oh jaanu ( sweetheart) don't be so shy!" I said in high pitched voice so everyone could hear me. Jay cringed at "jaanu". Harami you don't know what it took me to say that word to you. The crowd started to cheer "dance". I narrowed my eyes at him and dragged him in the stage.
"I hate you" he muttered.
"I hate you too" I said with all the honesty I have in me.

-third person's POV_

Jay took Anu's hand and started dancing.

Even though it was just a lyrics of song but still Jay felt something when he heard this coming from Anu's mouth.

Jay's lips was so close to Anu's ear. It made her Feel something tingly in her stomachs.

Jay twirled Anu and and she fell I his arms. Anu cupped his face with both of her palms and went close to him

Both sang perfectly in sync. Jay got away and spread his arms wide.

Jay stretched his arms out and pulled Anu close making her collide into his chest.

Even when the song finished they kept staring in each other's eyes. Like it was the most interesting thing on this earth. On the other side Chitra, Abhay, Mahi and Gulati had his mouth hung low. They couldn't believe what they just saw. Especially Mahi, Chitra and Gulati because they expected,even in their did dream, that Anu would dance at a slow romantic sing and that too with Jay! That was the shock of their life.
Jay and Anu finally got distracted by the cheer of the audience. Both of them cursed themselves for their stupid they just did and reminded that they hate themselves.
"You know whatever I did just know was to save myself from the date with that sahil" Anu said to Jay. he nodded.
"Yeah and I did this to save myself from embarrasment!" Jay said and Anu nodded.
"We hate each other!" Both said In sync. Anu pinched him really hard.
"Oww what was that for? Chipkali" Jay winced in pain.
"Same pinch!" Anu said as a matter of fact. Jay rolled his eyes.

"What are they?" Abhay asked.
"Friends or foe?" Chitra completed.
"Or lovers!" Mahi exclaimed. All of them stared at her. And burst out laughing.
"Yeah right!" Scoffed Karan.
Jay and Anu got down from the stage and saw them. They made their way to them.
"Where were you guy?" Jay asked.
"We just went have some kulfi!" Chitra answered.
"Where's mine?" Anu asked.
"Here!" karan said handing her kulfi. She snatched it and started eating it straightaway.
"Eat properly Anu" Mahi said while removing some kulti from her face. Jay showed his infamous puppy dog to abhay. Abhay rolled his eyes at his bhai's childish behaviour.
"I got one for you as well"
"Yay!" All of them laughed at Anu and Jay's excitement about kulfi.

_Mahi's POV_
"Come down!" Karan said through the phone. I knitted my eyebrows together in confusion.
"Karan it's 3 am!" I said while looking at the clock at my night stand.
"Why are you scared that its some evil spirit and not jaanu karan. Cause 3 and i am some evil spirit!" Karan joked.
"Baby it doesn't needs to be 3 am for you to be a evil spirit. You are always one."
"You are mean!" I laughed.
"Oh baby when I wasn't"
"And that's why I fell for you. You know what's a beauty without attitude!"
"And are you seriously gonna make me stand outside you house at this hour and that too in so much cold!" My eyes widened.
"You are seriously here?" I ask.
"Yep I don't lie" I narrow my eyes at him even though he can't see me.
"Okay sometime!"
"Sometimes?"
"Okay just shut up and come down!" I chuckled and made my way to downstairs. I saw the light of the kitchen on. I went and saw dad and Anu digging in the fridge for obviously ice creams and chocolates.
"Pass me a tube of vanilla ice cream" I say to anu and she passes me one. I grab 2 spoons and walk out of the house closing the door behind me. I saw Karan sitting on the Bonet of his car wrapped into a blanket. I climbed on the Binet and lied down next to him under his blanket. He had his arms wrapped around me.
"I brought ice cream" I said.
"I don't need those. I have these" he said and leaned in for my lips.
_Chitra's POV_
I was doing some work in my laptop when I got a request for video call. I looked at the ID and saw it was Abhay sir. With my heart hammering my chest. I pressed the receive button. Abhay sir's smiley face popped on my screen. And the butterflied inside my stomach became wild again.
"Hey chitra!" He greeted.
"Hi sir-i mean bhay-hai- heh what's your name again?" I asked in nervousness. He chuckled.
"Abhay by the way why are you up so late?" He asked.
"Because of you" I said while looking at the smooth brown eyes of his.
Shit!
"What I meant was that I was up because of the work you gave me!" I said. Nice cover up chitti. I mentally patted my back.
"Well than I'll keep in mind to give you less work from now on"
"Oho mere upar itna meherbaani kyu? (Why so much consideration on me?)"
"Because you're special" he said simply said and smiled at me. How can say something so simple yet it effected me so much.
How? And why?
"What are you doing up so late?" I asked trying to change the topic.
"I wasn't sleepy that's why."
"Drink warm milk mixed with honey" I said.
"What?"
"It will help you to sleep" I say.
"Really?" He asked.
"Okay!"
"One second I'll be back." I nod. He stands and goes out of his room. While he's gone I look at his room. It was really neat and clean. With photographs of his family hung on the walls. After a few seconds abhay came back with a glass in his hand.
"I hope this works" he says and takes a sip.
"Its soo sweet!" He exclaims. I chuckle. At one stoke he finishes it.
"I am not feeling sleepy!" He whines and I laugh.
"Abhay it isn't your 3G that it'll work immediately." I said.
We talked about some more time until Abhay felt sleepy.
"Good night!"
"Night!" I closed the laptop and fell asleep with a smile on my lips.

I love this chapter because all the couples are lovey dovey. Yay.
