Anushka's POV_

"Hey Anu!" Veer greeted me with a grin. I scanned him from head to toe. He was looking dashing as always in a black sherwani.

"Hi veer!" I smiled at him.

"You are looking very beautiful!" He complimented me.

I was wearing the lehenga, Jay had given me.

"Thanks! A friend gifted." I told him as he nodded.

"Your friend has a nice choice!"

"Yeah sometimes! By the way, you are also looking handsome." I told him as a speck of pink appeared on his cheeks.

Awh! The boy was blushing.

"So when are you leaving?" He asked. I shrugged.

"Maybe the day after tomorrow." I told him as he nodded.

"Anu..I have something to tell you.." he trailed as he kept eye to eye contact with me.

"Hmm?" I hummed.

"I am moving to mumbai." He said.

"OMG! really? Awesome!" I hugged him as he hugged me back.

"Now we can hang out in mumbai also!" I exclaimed. He grinned and nodded.

Third Person's POV_

'Why is she hugging him? God! Can't she keep her hands to herself?' Jay thought as he watched Anu and Veer from far.

"God I feel like an one sided lover." Jay mutters under his breathe.

He looked back at Anu and Veer, he saw that Anu's hand is in Veer's hand and he seemed like he was reciting some poetry to Anu as she watched him with a wtf reaction on her face.

'Typical chipkali' thought Jay. His gaze seemed to shift from the 'couple' to the kid playing with a tennis ball.

An evil plan crossed Jay's mind.

He crouched to that kid and smiled sweetly at him.

"Can I get the ball for a moment?" He asked sweetly.

"No!" But the Kid refused and turned away from a pouting jay.

"Please!" Jay pleaded but it left no effect to the kid.

Jay got up, sighing heavily.

He now, had no other choice but to snatch the ball from him.

Jay smiled one last time before starting to tug on the ball, and the kid did the same.

Jay was astonished at the kid's strength but didn't give up. This continued for a little awhile. The kid then bit Jay's hand to put an end to this.

Jay whimpered in pain but got the ball. Jay stuck out his tongue at the kid who was left glaring at Jay.

Jay then threw the ball aiming it at Veer.

Meanwhile, Anu was listening to Veer pour his heart to her.

"So Anu will you be my gir-" a ball came flying and hit Veer's head, making him fall down.

"Oh shit!" Anu cursed and helped Veer up.

"Where the hell did this ball came from?" Veer yelled in a coarse voice as he held up the ball in his hand.

Anu shrugged her shoulders.

"Oh I know!" Jay commented cockily as he came into the scene. Both, Veer and Anu looked at Jay who was smirking as if he has achieved something big.

"Who?" Anu asked Jay.

"That kid!" Jay pointed at the same kid, from whom he had snatched the ball earlier.

"I will go and teach Inayat a lesson." Anu mumbled and made her way towards Inayat. Inayat noticed Anu coming for him and he dashed off.

Veer and Jay were alone now. Both of them didn't really talk to each other before this, so there was an awkward silence between them.

Jay decided to break the ice.

"So you and chipkali are together?" Jay asked Veer.

Deep down Jay wanted the answer to be negative. Jay keenly waited Veer to answer his question.

Veer frowned and shook his head indicating a no. Jay nodded as a small smile tried make its way to his lips.

"But I like her a lot. And tonight I will ask her to be my girlfriend." Veer told Jay.

"What? How can you like her? She is..she is Anushka!" Jay said to veer.

Veer smiled.

"That's what I like about her, She is Anushka!" Veer replied with a dreamy look on his face as Jay stared at him with a scowl on his face.

Jay suddenly had an urge to push chilli powder down Veer's throat but Jay controlled himself.

Both the boys then turned to Anu who was dragging Inayat by his ears towards them.

Jay suddenly became pale and quickly ran off from there leaving Veer confused.

"I want you to meet someone!" Chitra told Abhay who was conversing with Karan.

"Who?" Abhay asked in response.

"My parents!" Chitra smiled, showing off her gorgeous dimples.

But on the other hand, Abhay was scared as hell. Karan noticed Abhay's pale face and started laughing his ass off.

"Why the hell are you laughing like a lunatic?" Chitra snapped at her brother.

"Because your boyfriend is scared to meet mom and dad!" Karan answered Chitra.

"Yeah right!" Chitra shrugged it off and turned to her boyfriend.

"Babe are you scared?" Chitra asked Abhay who shook his head, but his face was saying otherwise.

Chitra rolled her eyes.

"My parents won't eat you up! They are totally fine with dating stuff!" Chitra tried to convince Abhay. Who seemed a little relieved now.

"But chitra, after all you are dad's little baby na? I am just scared for abhay. I hope dad doesn't go all 'talwar' on your poor little boyfriend." Karan spoke in a fake concerning tone, in order to make abhay scared.

Chitra glared at karan.

"He is scaring me!" Abhay chocked out, making karan again burst into a fits of laughter.

"Arg! Come with me!" Chitra said and dragged Abhay with her.

Soon both of them were standing infront of an elderly couple.

"Mom dad meet Abhay, my boyfriend and also my boss." Chitra introduced Abhay to his parents.

Abhay forwarded his hands to towards chitra's dad and plastered a smile on his face.

Chitra's dad shook it, almost crushed it.

"Hi beta!" Chitra's mom smiled sweetly at Abhay and he returned the favour.

"I want to talk Abhay alone." Chitra's father told chitra while eyeing abhay.

"Fine! But no threatening ok?" Chitra asked her father.

"No promises." Chitra's dad replied and took abhay away feom there.

"Listen I have no problem with her dating you. You seem like a nice boy. But she is my little baby so dare hurt her or touch her and you wont able to be a father."

Chitra's father then left a pale abhay behind as he joined his wife with a smiling face.

"What happened?" Chitra asked in a concerned tone.

"Nothing." Abhay chocked out.

Chitra understood and shake her head as a sigh left her mouth.

The jaymalas were done and now it was time for the pheras. Anu found herself between Jay and Veer.

The priest started chanting the mantras and preet and dileer started doing the pheres.

"Why do they make rounds?" Jay asked, no one in particular.

"Every round is a vow, which the couple has to keep." Veer explained jay.

After the pheras were done, dileer put the vermillion in the partition of preet's hair and then tied the holy thread around Preet's neck.

Veer turned to his right to look at anu, but she wasn't there.

"Where is anu?" Veer asked jay, but jay shrugged his shoulders.

Both of them found anu infront of the canopy, harassing the groom for money.

"We won't give you the shoes until you give us money!" Anu argued.

"Let's negotiate-" Raftaar tried to speak but was cut off by geet.

"No! We want money thats it!" Geet stated.

"Fine how much?" Dileer asked.

"20 thousand!" Anu said.

"Fine!" Dileer gave them the money and Anu gave them the shoes.

"Where are you taking us?" Anu yelled at Mahi who was dragging Anu and Chitra somewhere.

"Shut up! Come with me!" Mahi told them and after a while stopped.

Anu and Chitra looked infront, she saw Preet standing on a chair and some girls including geet.

"Holy mother's cow! I am not going to that cursed place!" Chitra yelled.

"Neither am I!" Anu too yelled. Both of them tried to run away but Mahi held them by their head and dragged them their.

Anu and chitra stood their as if they were in principle's office and geet and mahi were all smiles.

Preet shook her hands and three bells fell from her bangles and hit mahi, geet and chitra's head.

Chitra instantly screamed as the bell hit her head. Anu started lauging but soon stopped as a small bell hit her head too.

"Why me?" Anu Cried out.

All the rituals were done including the bidaai. Almost everyone left. It was like 3 in the morning.

"Anu!" Anu turned around to see, it was Veer called for her. Veer jogged to her and held her hands in his.

"Anu will you be my girlfriend?" Veer asked Anu, leaving her apalled as Jay watched from far.
