Chitra's POV _

" So all we got all the things right?" I asked no one one in particular.

" yep, I got the luggages. " Abhay said.

" And I got the Gulati Da Dhaba (Gulati's inn)" karan said while pointing at the tiffin box mom sent.

"And I got the junk food" mahi said. Anu and I took a packet of chips and started eating.

" Hey! Those are for the journey! " mahi complained.

" By the way! Why are you two not working?" I asked jay and Anu.

" what di? I am supervising" anu said while munching her chips.  I gave her a look.

" Oyee chotu in which angle are you supervising? " mahi asked anu. She pouted. 

" I am the one supervising" I said while putting my hands on my hip.

" yeah yeah, all of you scold me all you want after all I am the youngest one in the family" Anu said while fake tearing up. We all smiled at her drama. Karan went to her hugged her from side.

" Today you proved you are mahi's sister" karan said. Mahi scowled at karan.

" Bhai see"  Jay yelled and pointed at Anu.

" If she doesn't work she get's hugged and If I dont, you put three or two luggages in my hand" jay whines. We all laughed at him. I went to Jay and hugged him.

" It's okay" I chuckled while patting his back.

" It's okay" he grinned from ear to ear.  Anu came and pulled us apart.

" dude, give izzat ( respect) she's your soon to be babhi ( sister- in - law)" anu said to Jay. I blushed and turned to see Abhay blushing.

" Why? Are you jealous?" Jay smirked. Anu rolled her eyes and scoffed.

" having your fithy arms wrapped around me, I soo am!" Anu's words were dripping with sarcasm. Jay's smirk was slapped off his face by one and only anu.
Anushka's POV _

" I know you want me"  I heard him whisper.  I raised an eyebrow at him.

" yeah only in you weirdest dreams" I said.

" really?  Then what was that?" He asked. I stepped closer to him.

" What?" I said making eye contact. He looked around and dragged me somewhere alone.

" Then what was that wink?" He asked. I burst out laughing.  He thought it meant something!!! Aww soo cute.

" Why are you laughing? " he asked eyeing me weirdly.

" I never thought you were intelligent but I atleast thought you are smart but you are stupid and cute" I said, still laughing.

" Then?"

" Then that wink didn't meant anything.  You are so cute!" I tried to pinch his cheek but he swatted my hands away and left from there. I followed him smiling like an idiot.
Karan's POV _

" What just happened there?" Mahi asked as she saw jay walking ahead and behind her was very smiling Anu.

" maybe they made out and suddenly realized they are in love!" I exclaimed. I thought of teasing her a little.

" Really? "  she asked gleefully. 

" No!" I said with the equal amount of excitement.  Her lips formed a straight line. I laughed at my girlfriend.  She hit me with the bottle of cold drink in her hand.

" Oww, aye! I have Gulati da Dhaba ( Gulati's inn) in my hand, so.." I said while trying to warn her.

" Accha?"

"Accha" she continued hitting me with the bottle.
Chitra's POV _

" Karan and Mahi are really cute!" Abhay said while watching the couple bonding.

" Yeah, they've been together since college, but I am sure our parents already heard the wedding bell when they first met" I said.

" Childhood sweethearts?" I nodded and smiled.

" Don't tell me you have a crush on Mahi, or worse karan" I teased.  He began laughing.  It was like melody to my ears.

" God! No, it's just that they are a really good couple!" I nodded.

" If you think they are a good couple, not that I am saying they are not a couple, but our parents,  meaning the Gulati's and Malhotra's. " I said proudly.  Afterall they are my parents and uncle and aunty.

" My parents are no less either, they fight is the cutest and the way make up after  the fight is the cutest,  which is after a second maybe" he says chuckling.

" what about relationships? Did you have any girlfriends in the past?" I could help but ask. Shit chitti why are you behaving like a nosy girlfriend.  I mentally facepalmed myself. He smiled and shook his head.

" You didn't have a single girlfriend? " I asked him in shock. He ahain shook his head.

" Wow" I muttered under my breathe. I looked up to see him smiling at me. I felt the heat rise up from my neck to my cheeks.

" MOM'S CALLING"  Jay hollered. Why is he hollering?

"Your brother is not deaf and you he is just right here so no need to holler" Anu said.

" Whatever!" Jay rolled his eyes.

" Ohh how much time took to come up with that?" Anu asked.

" Lis-" Jay was about to answer but was cut off by his brother.

" Jay! Phone" jay looked down to see the phone still ringing.  He picked it up and his mother's face was on the phone screen.

" Itna samai lagta phone uthane mei? ( do you need so much of time to pick up a phone?)" His mom complained.  Jay was about to say something but was again cut off but this time by his mother.

" chalo chaddho, oye hoye ye kon hai? Meri bahu? (Forget it! Oh ho who is she? My daughter-in-law?)" Their mother said, grinning.  Jay and Anu turned to face eachother and widened their eyes. All of us bursted out laughing, of course except Aunty.

" Aunty, I am not with Jay" anu said.

" Oh!" Her smile turned upside down into a frown.

" I knew that your son couldn't woo her, look she's so pretty!" A man came to the picture, who is the daddy Raichand, and pointed at Anu. 

" Hah! That is true ahe is really pretty! But you wait na ji, our son will definitely make her our daughter in law" she said to her husbands.

" Guys, you know we are standing here!" Jay cried out, hoping they would stop it.

" Ha toh! You two should know na!" Jay shook his head and mouthed a sorry to Anu. She smiled and shrugged.

" C'mon let's talkt mom" Abhay said holding my hand. Uff those electrifying feels.

" Me?" He nodded.  We went and stood next Jay and Anu.

" Abhay! How are you son?" Aunty asked. He smiled.

" I am very good ma!"

"How's the business? " his dad asked.

" It's really great and I am gonna make Jay join too"

"Okay both of you stop your business talks!"  Aunty ordered and both of them stopped.

" By the way, who is this pretty girl next to you?" Aunty asked.

" She is Chitra, my friend" he said.

" Hi!" I waved at them.

" Hi!! So even you are not my bahu?" Aunty again frowned. She looked really cute.

" Mom you don't have to wait to make her you elder bahu mom" jay smirked.

" Because haule haule ho jaye ga pyaar!" Anu singed. While me and Abhay was blushing, the others were laughing.

" Namaste aunty" karan and mahi came into the picture.

" Namaste beta" Aunty greeted back.

" This is my sister,  Mahira Malhotra aka Mahi" Anu said pointing at Mahi.

" and this is my Brother Karan Gulati" I said pointing at Karan.

" Mom before you ask, they are together" Jay answered Aunty's silent question.

" I knew it!! I hope you guys stay together for life!"

" Thanks Aunty" karan and Mahi said in unison.

" Accha beta I've know all your name, except yours" Aunty said to anu, she was about to say her name but Jay beat her to it.

" Anushka Chipkali Malhotra" Jay said grinning like a goof.  Anu glared at him.

" jay!" Aunty warned her younger son.

" Anushka, Mahira and Chitra, so pretty names just like you all dear" Aunty complemented us.

"Aunty what about mine?" Karan pouted.

" You too beta" Aunty laughed.

" okay we have to go now, talk to you later!" Abhay said and we all bid aunty goodbye.

We all got up on the jeep. Abhay was infront of me, beside him was jay, who sat opposite Anu as she was sitting next to me. Karan was driving and as usual Mahi sat on the passenger's seat.
