Why Are You Here?
A/N I will not apologize for the long time it's been. For I cannot. Ever since I moved I've been super busy, and the fact that I updated for responsibility only hurt. This stopped being fun after awhile and so I slowly drifted off from this site. But now I'm back! And you better believe I'm gonna do this well! I had a really bad day and this should make me feel better (even though I should be sleeping)!
Marinette sighed and leaned back in her desk chair. "What am I gonna do, Tikki? I can't fight like this! This akuma needs to be purified right away, but I can't do it hurt! Plus, you said you changing was a one-time thing.
Tikki 'hmmed' in deep thought, nibbling delicately on her cookie. She looked out the window and grimaced. Paris wasn't doing too well after the Butterfly attack. Without Ladybug people were starting to panic. Some thought she was dead, for goodness sake!
If Tikki could snap, she would've. "Aha! I know just the thing!"

Felix pulled a ringed haned through his hair, sighing agitadedly as he passed his large room. "Ladybug hasn't patrolled in weeks. Something is wrong, Plagg! What if she's dead? Maybe Tikki was wrong!"
The kwami rolled his eyes. "You're overreacting, kid. I believe Tikki. We've been working together for hundreds of years! She's the serious one. Too bad you got me, huh?" He chuckled.
Felix mimicked Plagg's earlier actions. Placing his hand on the cool, smooth glass, he thought it over. The lamp lights were in perfectly symmetrical positions, each one a perfect copy of the other. He chuckled, thinking how these insignificant lights were similar to his not so insignificant life.
Finally admitting defeat, he sighed. "Alright. I guess there's no use in worrying about it for now. Tikki did say she got hurt."
Plagg sat on Felix's platinum blonde head. "Well, in the mean time, why don't you pay Marinette a little visit?"
Attempting to look up at Plagg and failing, Felix said, "What? Where did that come from?"
"Well, she was hurt badly in the accident and she might want to see you again! C'mon, she's so... uh.... What's the word? Well, she's good at almost everything. She's beautiful and kind as a plus!"
Felix arched and eyebrow. "Are you trying to hook me up with one of my classmates?"
"Um.... Maybe?"
He sighed. "Plagg, you're a pain. But at least you're my pain. So since you asked, fine. I'll go see her. Or should I say...." He smirked mischievously.
"...Chat Noir will go see her."

While Tikki was off getting whoever she said she needed, Marinette was attempting to find the easiest way to scramble up to her roof balcony. It was her safe haven when nightmares were afoot. It calmed her when she was angry and soothed her when she was sad.
It's been weeks since she last got up there, and as she used her not-so broken limbs to heave herself up a shadow loomed over her. Looking up, she saw the tall form of Chat Noir looking down at her and holding a hand out.
"Need some help, Purr-incess?" He purred.
Startled by his sudden appearance, Marinette jerked backwards. "Chat! You scared me! What are you doing here, minou?"
His laugh sounded like a rumble as he picked her up bridal style. "Just saving the broken princess from a nasty fall."
"Well, it looks like my knight in shining leather has come to my rescue."
Chat attempted to bow flamboyantly, but having another person in his arms wasn't working out for him. "Why, yes. Yes I have. Also, this suit isn't leather. It's boyfriend material."
"Oh, you thought you were my knight? I thought the ladybug over there was my knight."
Said ladybug gracefully landed on Chat's nose, releasing a sneeze out of the boyfriend material-clad hero. Marinette giggled as she attempted to reach the wheel chair she had thrown up here earlier (with Tikki's help).
Noticing her struggle, Chat quickly opened the chair for her and gently placed her in it. "There you are. Much better."
Marinette yawned and asked, "Why are you here?"
He blushed and Marinette thought of how adorable he is when he wasn't trying to woo her. "W-Well, I just wanted to check in on you. Butterfly targeted you and I thought.... I thought she might try something. You know. Sneaky?"
She knew exactly what he meant. Chloé can be... well, Chloé. "Yeah, I get it. Thanks for that. It was real sweet of you to care about little old me."
He blushed again at her kind tone and nodded. "It's okay. I mean, it's kinda my job, y'know? No need for all that."
"Whatever you say, Sir Knight."
A/N Alright, well, now that I've gotten better at writing this quality should be much better. See? Don't you like this? Yeah, I'm gonna go so you don't kill me. Bye!
