Puss and Kitty were walking side by side in a town called San Jose which is not far from San Ricardo. The two were planning their next heist in stealing from this spoiled and selfish duchess. Only this wasn't a two person job. Kitty had a source to help them.

"So what does your source tell you about the duchess?" Puss asked her curiously as they entered in another Cat Cantina to meet with this source. "My source happens to be the Duchess's pet cat. As well as acting as a good spy. He found that she had been stealing peoples' jewelry for herself" she explained to him as they took a seat and ordered some milk.

"So our duchess is also a skilled pickpocket" he mentioned but then felt something light on his head and he placed his hand on top, feeling only his fur. He turned to Kitty and saw her wearing his hat with a smirk. "Not as skilled as me" she told him confident. "Clearly" Puss said glaring at her as he took his hat back.

"That's true" a voice came up but it wasn't Puss's or Kitty's. It was someone else's. The two cats turned away from eachother and looked at who had joined in the conversation. A male Persian siamese cat came their way. He had blue eyes, dark blue boots with some gold details on it with a matching vest and a blue hat with a white feather on it.

Puss stared at him while Kitty was calm and recognized him. "Ah you arrive. Puss this is Tiberius. My accomplice and the pet cat of the Duchess as well as our spy" she introduced him.

"Madame Kitty. Is been awhile since I've seen you here" he told her, revealing a French accent as he walked up to her and kissed her paw. Puss saw this and felt a tinge of annoyance, glaring at him. "I see your treatment to the ladies do not change old friend. And you don't have to keep calling me madame" she told him teasingly, leaning on the bar.

"A true gentleman shows respect to the women" he explained to her. Kitty then turned to her boyfriend "Tiberus this is Puss in Boots. My partner and boyfriend" she introduced him to the tabby cat and the persian siamese mix turned to him surprised. "Ah this is the legendary hero from San Ricardo. The one you told me. Is honor to meet you monsieur" he told him glady as he shook his paw. "Si" Puss told him calm but still annoyed. The bartender came with their milk. Kitty turned the bartender "Add another leche por favor" she asked him and the cat nodded to her before leaving.

"Merci Kitty. Perdón but I have a map to navigate us on where the duchess keeps the jewels hidden. I will go get it" he told them before he left. Kitty then turned to get boyfriend, leaning her head on her hand.

"You ok ginger?" She asked him as Puss grabbed his glass, staring at her. "Mind if I ask to know how you two know eachother?" He asked her, trying to keep his cool and hide his annoyance. She raised an eyebrow at him, smirking. "Are you jealous mi amor?" She asked curiously yet teasingly.

"I do not get jealous easily Kitty" he told her irritated as he went to take a sip of his milk. "Puss you have nothing to worry about. Tiberius is my ex boyfriend" she explained to him.

Puss spat his milk in surprise, coughing and his eyes widen. Kitty quickly patted his back as he coughed hard and he turned to her, shocked. "Your ex?! You met another gato before me and didn't tell me?" He asked her surprised and upset. Knowing Kitty, he knew she was not one to fall for anyone's charms or even his charms.

Kitty stared at him plainly and took a lick from her milk. She was glad to see the tarven was empty with only her, Puss, Tiberius and the bartender.

"Calma mi amor" she told him calmly. "Calma? I didn't think you be with another man and not tell me about him" he told her annoyed. "Says the cat who flirts with numerous women" she told him with hesitation and Puss stared at her embarrassed and a bit annoyed from that.

"Listen. Tiberius is a nice and respectful man. We dated long before Humpty hired me for the beanstalk job. However, I was a theif and he was against thievery. He would keep close eye on me to ensure I would not get hurt or get captured. I knew that at some point he would pay the price for my actions so I talked to him one night. We broke up peacefully and choose to be friends only. It hurted a bit. But it would hurt me more if Tiberius got hurt or worse because of me" she explained to him. To her, it was a love full of risks where Tiberius would pay a high price for ensuring her safety in her heists. He didn't try to stop her as long as no one was hurt.

Puss's annoyance had faded, now having more understanding on this Tiberius. The bartender arrived with a cup of milk for Tiberius. The ginger cat felt Kitty placed her paw on his and he looked at her as she smiled at him. "That time, I was much different. That was when I only cared about the score. Until I met you and find something much more valuable" she told him and he smiled at her lovingly. 

Puss noticed the persian siamese coming back to them with a scroll in his paw. "Tiberius. Your leche arrived. Here mi amigo" Puss told him, grabbing the cup and passing it to him. "Merci mon ami" he told him gratefully, nodding to him. Kitty smiled at seeing them getting along. Something told her that this heist will go smoothly with her old friend and her lover.
