After waking up, getting some food and getting dressed into jumpsuits, everyone was back in front of the stage with their Principal and Headmaster back under the spotlight.

Nezu: Alright everyone! We hope you had a nice night and enjoyed your breakfast, but now it's time to show off what you can do!

Ozpin: There will be three tests for you to complete. You will be judged on how well you do in all three and if you do well enough, you get to stay here permanently!

Nezu: So, let's get started shall we?

The first test was a written one, Simon passing with minimal struggle while Mineta slipped up a few times.

Simon: That was easy!

Mineta: You aren't human, man!

Simon; Heh, I guess I'm not!

The second test however, was going to be a bigger problem. They were all driven to large stadiums and were supposed to destroy robots for points, needing to outclass their to-be classmates. Mineta had been sent to a different stadium so Simon just had to pick an alien.

Simon: hmmm...

He clicked through the options. Suddenly, a speaker turned on.

Speaker: And go! Villains don't give you a countdown so don't expect one here!

The doors flew open.

Simon: No time!

He slammed his hand onto his watch and in a flash of green light, he had taken a new form.

Heatblast: Heatblast!

He ran for the door, his feet suddenly catching fire and launching him through the air. He used the power to fly and shot balls of fire from his hand, destroying any robots he could.

*Thump*

A much larger robot called "The Zero Pointer" towered over the false city, each step sending shockwaves across the field.

Heatblast: Whoa. Talk about intimidating!

*Beep beep beep*

Heatblast: Oh no!

He quickly flew down as his device timed out and began to recharge. That meant Simon, now a human, had to wait for the recharge.

Simon: Of all times to recharge!

He starts running to a safer spot away from the giant robot. He however bumps into someone on accident.

Simon: S-Sorry!

Green Hair: My bad! Uhh, gotta go! Someone's in trouble over there!

He says, running past him.

Simon: Hm?

He looked back to see a girl trapped under rubble and in the path of The Zero Pointer.

Simon: Oh, uhhh...

He knew he should probably help it didn't wanna fail the test, but also knew the boy alone couldn't lift all that rubble.

Simon(thinking): hold on... why aren't any teacher intervening...?

An idea struck him.

Simon: If course! Being a hero isn't just beating up bad guys, we save people!

He ran after the boy to help. They both quickly started lifting away the rubble to the best of their ability while Simon waited for his device recharged. He looks back to see the giant robot. It wasn't going to be long before it got here.

Simon(thinking): not good!

*Beep Click*

The sound of the watch recharging filled his ears and a smile spread across his face.

Green Hair: You get her out!

He ran towards the giant robot.

Simon(thinking): What's that guy doing!?

He activated his watch again and transforms.

Four Arms: Four Arms!

He used the new strength to hoist the rubble away and pick up the girl, running away from the robot as fast as he could.

Simon: You okay!?

The girl looks up at him, blushing a little and nodded.

Simon: Good, we should be able to outrun-

*Bam*

There was a loud crash and they both look back in shock. The boy with green hair had caved the robot's head in, seemingly in one punch.

Simon: Whoa.

The boy then started to fall.

Four Arms: Ah, damn it! Wait here!

He set the girl down and ran as fast as he could to catch the boy, jumping with his arms stretched out as he caught the guy, sending dust flying.

Simon: Hey, you good?

Green Hair: Y-Y-Yeah...

He winced, his enter arm was purple.

Four Arms: Let's get you a bandaid!

He walked back to where he left the girl, picking her up again and dropping them both off at the entrance right as the ending buzzer went off.

Four Arms: Ah, shoot. Timer's up.

Girl: I-I'm sorry!

Simon looked to her.

Girl: I-I got stuck and distracted the both of you from the assignment! Now you didn't get as many points as you could have...

Four Arms: It's fine!

He slapped the dial on his shoulder, becoming human again.

Simon: What matters is that you're safe!

Green Hair: Oh, y-yeah! Just doing what a hero would do!

The girl looks over to Simon.

Girl: But, that was a cool quirk! What was that!?

Simon: Oh, well my name's Simon Tennyson and that was DNA mix. I can change my DNA to basically anything, though I need this support item to control it.

He says, holding up his arm.

Simon: What about you guys?

First the girl spoke.

Ochaco: Oh, my name's Ochaco Uraraka! I have zero gravity, where if I touch something with all five of my fingers, it becomes weightless. Tapping my hands together then cancels it!

She explains, then turning to the green haired boy.

Simon: You were pretty impressive there! A single punch took down the titan robot!

Green Hair: O-Oh, umm, I call my q-quirk S-smash! I-I can land very p-powerful attacks, b-but it also b-breaks my bones.

He then realized he forgot to introduce himself.

Izuku: Oh, I'm I-Izuku Midoriya!

Simon: Nice to meet ya Midoriya!

The medical robots then picked up their stretchers and started to carry them away.

Simon: Oh. See ya around then!

They both wave as he left to go join the rest of the students. They got driven back to the main building where he reunited with Mineta and they were all given a break to prepare for the final test.

Mineta: So, find any hot babes yet?

Simon: Dude, shut up!

He says, sitting down on a bench. The thought of the girl he helped before enters his mind, making him space out a tiny bit.

Mineta: Ah, I know that look! You saw a few!

Simon: Only because it's the only thing you ever talk about!

Mineta cackled, lying back a little.

Mineta: You'll fall into it eventually!~

Simon rolls his eyes.

Simon: I'm getting hungry. Wanna get a bite?

Mineta: Yeah!

They both started walking.

Mineta: So... any new discoveries about your "quirk"?

Simon: Ah, well I did unlock a new form actually.

Mineta: You can unlock more!?

Simon: Yeah! This one's yellow and rolls around a lot.

They got into line at the cafeteria.

Mineta: Well I can't wait to see what's next!

They both get some food and sit down, digging into the free lunch. As they were eating, two people sat down across from them, the taller yellow one more confident and the shorter red one more shy.

Yellow: Hey there!~

Mineta lightly elbowed Simon.

Mineta: Told ya-

Simon flicked her on the nose, quieting the girl.

Simon; Sorry, ignore her. Hi, I'm Simon Tennyson!

The confident girl spoke again.

Yang: The name's Yang Xio Long, and this here is my younger sister Ruby Rose!

She says, pointing at her.

Ruby: H-Hi!

She seemed a little nervous.

Yang: My sister skipped a couple years so I'm helping her find some friends. Care to be numbers one and two?

Simon(thinking): See, Mineta? Life isn't some anime where everyone falls in love with one person!

Simon: Sure!

Mineta: Minnie Mineta! Sounds like fun!

She says excitedly.

Ruby: Oh, r-really?

Simon shrugged.

Simon: I don't see why not!

Yang: See?

She nudged her sister.

Yang: Told ya it would go well!

She says, crossing her legs.

Simon: School sucks anyway so it's good to either make a bunch of friends, or just get it over with.

He says, finishing his food. Suddenly, the overhead speakers came on.

Nezu(speaker): Attention everyone! Please finish up whatever you are doing and come to the front of the school! The final test will begin in 20 minutes!

Simon: Oh, looks like we're finally going to be finishing this thing!

Mineta: I wonder what it's gonna be!

She says excitedly.

Simon: Well, should we just head there now?

Yang: Sure! Sounds fun!~

Ruby: Okay!

The now group of 4 walk through the school and get to the courtyard, finding a large standing area and a stage next to it. After a while, all of the students had gathered. In the stage, were the headmaster and principal. Their next mission would be based off teamwork and survivability. The goal was to make it through the forest while avoiding the Grimm inside. They would need to find a relic and bring it back. Anyone they met along the way would have to stick with you and the first person you met would be your "partner", unless they had already met someone. Partners would be guaranteed to be in the same class and they would often end up on the same team.

Ozpin: Any questions?

A boy raised his hand right in front of him.

Ozpin: No? Good!

The hand slowly lowered.

Ozpin: Now, you may be wondering: "how will we enter the forest without immediately forming massive teams!?" Well, the answer is beneath you!

Confused, everyone looks down at the floor seeing as the panels click apart and suddenly launch all the kids at different parts of the forest.

Nezu: We're gonna get sued one of these days.

Ozpin: Eh, let them try.
