"Alright, you girls need to be home by four cause don't forget you have a birthday party, Pewzers!" Dad reminded me.

OMG! I couldn't believe someone wasted my time! It was 3:00 and I only had 1 hour left! I dashed towards the prom clothing store, Prom Pawz, as fast as I could.

I chose a glam matching outfit! It looked like this:

I paid for it and luckily, it was a set so it had a set discount! So my matching glam outfit was only $299.00. I checked my watch. It was 3:35. Phew! 25 minutes till my party. Then my phone vibrated. It was a text from Mom:

I entered a dress shop and bought my birthday dress. It looked like this:

Then I took the taxi home. When I arrived, inside the house was pitch black. Then the lights turned on and Veronica, Mom, Dad, Stormy, Rainy, Sunny and my two friends from Catdergarten, Marie and Julie, popped up from behind the tables, under the toy box, everywhere!
"Surprise!" Everyone exclaimed.

I hugged everyone. Mom and Dad gave me a present that felt solid wrapped in cupcake wrapping paper.

"Your present table is over there." Dad pointed.

I nodded. I headed for the table.

"Wait!" Mom stopped me.

"You need to collect your other gifts, remember?"

"Oh, right! I forgot!" I chuckled.

Everyone stood in line. Stormy was next. She gave me her present. It felt kinda squishy, like a plushie. It was wrapped in a cute cloud wrapping paper.

I put the two gifts beside me on the floor. Next was Rainy.

She handed me her present for me. It was the shape of a small rectangle, and was wrapped in white wrapping paper.

"Sorry, I couldn't find any colored or themed wrapping paper." Rainy shrugged.

"It's okay," I told her.

Then Veronica came. She handed me a small box-like present wrapped in a diamond wrapping paper.
"My aunt Cassy made it. I told her it was your birthday and she owns a company that makes wrapping paper. It's very delicate, so please put it down gently!" Veronica told me.

I put Rainy's present down on the floor with the two others, then put Veronica's delicately on the floor.

Sunny gave me a present wrapped in gold sparkly wrapping paper. Julie was next. She handed me a present wrapped in turquoise tin-foil-like material.
"I made it myself," Julie said. "It's okay if you don't like it, it was my first try making a DIY wrapping paper."

"I don't like it," I told Julie. She looked at me sadly. "I love it!" I finished.

Julie smiled. I placed the two presents down. Marie was the only one left. She gave me a small sphere shaped present wrapped in a cupcake wrapping paper.

"I made it myself. I've been really busy so I didn't have time to buy you a present, so I made you something!" Marie told me.

Dad helped me take all the presents and load them on the present table.

"Now it's time for the games!" Mom announced.

Everyone cheered. We started with hide and seek."Okay, everyone get in a circle!" Mom clapped her hands.

We all formed a circle and put one foot inside.

"Ip dip dot dip, you are so it!" Mom's finger tapped Julie's pink high top sneaker.

"Phew," Veronica sighed. "Good thing it wasn't me, because I didn't change into my game shoes. If I were the seeker, everyone would know where I would be looking because of my flats!"

Everyone giggled.

Veronica took her flats off and placed them in front of the shoe cabinet. Then she took her sea blue high tops and put them on.

"Now I'm ready!" Veronica ran back towards us.

Julie covered her eyes with her paws. "One... two... three..."

"Oh, and remember to count to thirty!" Stormy giggled as she hurried away to a hiding spot.

"Everyone is allowed to hide anywhere in the house except the parents room, basement, garage and backyard!" Dad called.

Small giggles formed. I knew that Julie would find them easily because soon the giggles will turn into full blown laughter! I kept completely quiet and still behind my bed, in the small changing corner.

"Twenty eight... twenty nine... thirty! Are you ready or not?"

"We're ready!" We all yelled.

"Here I come!!!" Julie called.

"EEEP!" Two excited screams filled the air.

"I got you, Sunny and Stormy!"

"I bet the three of them are upstairs!" Sunny told Stormy and Julie after a few minutes.

"Why didn't you say so?" Julie put her paws on her hips.

"How many time do we have left, Mrs Donutpaw?"

I heard Mom turn on the phone because it made the CATPHONE SEVEN PLUS~ sound

"Approximately ten minutes and thirty five seconds."

"Darnit!" Stormy did a facepaw and I know because her facepaws are really loud and they go SMACK or THWACK or maybe even PLAP.

Their shoes thumped on the stairs. I quickly hurried to my bathroom and hid behind the curtains. Shook! Went the shower curtains.

"Oops!" I wanted to say that aloud, but I quickly covered my mouth.

"Five minutes left!" Mom called.

"I heard a noise!" Julie warned.

"Yeah, us too! It went like, SHOOK SHAK SHLORK SHALALALA" Sunny started to make weird wooshie sounds.

"Hey, quiet!" Julie hissed.

They entered Stormy's room. I heard the closet door open, then close. Then I heard pawsteps, and an excited shriek.

"EEEEE!" Marie shrieked.

"One down, one to go!" Julie pumped her fist.

"Just to warn you, Pusheen's the hide-and-seek hider superstar." Stormy ducked shyly.

"Sorry I didn't tell you earlier."

Julie, Sunny and Marie gasped.

They entered my room. Boy, their pawsteps sure are loud!

"Three minutes left!"

"Quick, we're wasting time talking! Lets just use sign language!" Marie gasped.

I think Julie made a hand gesture, because they start searching my room. The closet door opened and closed. They opened the curtains to see if I was there. Shook, it went. They used to find me behind the curtains. That was a hide-and-seek mistake I made when I was little. Then, the bathroom door creaked.

I quickly saw my bathtub-colored towel near me and I lay down gently and quietly on the bathtub and covered myself with the color and straightened myself and the towel. After searching a while, they finally opened the bathtub curtains. I was really nervous!

"Guys, Pusheen's not here. Maybe she's downstairs." Julie shrugged.

Phew! I thought.

"Time's up!" Mom called.

They all sighed. Veronica popped up from the sink cabinet.

"Ha! You didn't search there!"

I popped up.

"You didn't see me covered up!"

Marie, Julie, Stormy and Sunny gasped.

"Pusheen, that was so cool!"
"Veronica, I didn't even notice your breathing sounds!"

After all the games, the cake and the other activities, it was time for my friends to go.

"Seeya at school on Monday!" Veronica called and waved. She was the last guest to leave.

"Bye," I said.
