A Party to Not Remember
Steven's P.O.V
The night air is cool and crisp, the smell of Fall lingering faintly as it brushes past my nose. Blackness with freckles of stars loom over us like a dome, shedding a beautiful light onto what me and Alesha are about to walk into. Standing behind a random car on the other side of the street, I stuff my hands into my pockets and leer across the road. Directly perpendicular to the street and past the accompanying sidewalk lies the semi-loud and brightly festive atmosphere of Kevin's party. The place is perfect for my next act of justice. People milling around with drinks in their hands and their talkative switch turned on. It'll be like a knife in the crowd. Nobody will see it and therefore leave no witness.
I look to my right and see Alesha gazing at the scene just like I've been doing. No matter if she's in a purple party dress or in a cute cat shirt, Alesha can always look stunningly beautiful. Part of me wonders how I got so lucky to have met her and the other half wonders why she likes some scarred little like me. Whatever the reason is, I'm just leave myself to my gratitude about the situation and not think about it further. The plan that'll take place tonight is simply by all standards. We go in, pretending to have been invited, and blend in by having a drink or two, maybe something to eat as well. Then, I pick out Kevin from the mass of people and wait until there's opening, which will be difficult by all accounts since he's usually surrounded by at least two of his cronies everywhere he goes. Once that opening shows up, and it will, I'll make some excuse to those around us and slink off to follow him. He'll probably head somewhere secluded, most likely having dragged some poor girl with him in hopes of a decent fuck, and that's where I'll strike. I crafted the plan as such so that I'd be the only one caught if shit goes array and Alesha can still have a good time while I'm off doing what I came here to do. I just hope she doesn't get too lonely though, not that I'm saying she can't have fun without me.
"Ready?" I ask.
Alesha turns to me and smiles, weaving her fingers with mine.
"You bet" She replies.
I put on a small grin myself and with our hands interlocked, we walk forward and across the nearly empty street. Being this late at night means that everyone's home or out doing something in the city, not bothering with this suburban ass neighborhood. We make it across with no traffic and step onto the sidewalk, going right through the archway leading into the backyard. Like I had predicted, everyone's either huddled in their little social groups or at the drinks counter. I swear, people are so predictable it's uncanny. The pool's in use too, a couple men and women lounging around while their friends sit on the grass above them. Everything about this place and the way it feels brings back that miserable memory of when Connie and I ran into each other here after her ignoring me for two straight weeks on end. I better not see her around here tonight, otherwise there will two corpses in need of body bags.
Alesha taps my shoulder and points to a huddle of teenagers, all women surprisingly, and I nod, getting her message. She goes over and butts in on the conversation, making herself known and starting introductions while I walk over to the drinks counter and shoulder my way past the alcoholics looking to get wasted. I grabbed two sodas, a Pepsi and a Sprite, and head back over to the group where Alesha entered in. I could've gotten us alcohol, but I'm not looking to end my life any sooner than necessary. It's like smoking, vaping, or any of that nasty shit people do even though it's proven to be bad. They're clearly stupid. I, however, am not.
Wedging myself into this mini sorority of teenagers, I hand Alesha her soda. She thanks me for it and takes that moment to introduce me to the other ladies in the group. There's four, one blonde, two brunettes, and one redhead. The blonde's name is Mackenzie, the brunettes are Abby and Mina, and the redhead is Sophia. They're exceptionally pretty with thin frames and well-endowed....areas...but I still think Alesha is the sexiest of them all. Each take turns talking to me, sharing some small facts about themselves before asking me some questions. I lie, obviously, since the police have probably spread the word about my escape by now and have more than likely done one of those 'if you have any information about his whereabouts, call this number for a reward' types of things. After a bit, Mina started chatting more with Alesha, but that didn't mean Mackenzie, Abby, and Sophia let up with their questioning. A couple of times, I could've sworn that I saw Abby looking down at my junk and blushing. That basically told me that if she ever asks to 'go someplace private' or to out on a date, my response is gonna be simple and immediate no.
I don't know how long we stood there exchanging words and sipping drinks, probably much longer than Alesha or I wanted to to begin with. Luckily though, after about the millionth question from Abby, the douchebag himself appears and makes some announcement about a drag race everyone can do later if interested. Kevin then excused himself, along with some black-haired chick, and I saw that my window had opened. Nudging Alesha, I nod over to where Kevin was, entering his house through the screen door, and she nods, silently wishing me luck. I wink in response and tell the girls that I have to use the bathroom but will come right back afterwards. They groan in disappointment, but accept it, letting me inch my way out and walk inconspicuously across the backyard toward the screen door of the house. As I'm about to enter, I drink the rest of my soda and crush the can with my Diamond strength, tossing it behind me as I step inside and shut the screen door.
Everything's quite inside the house, not a creature stirring, not even a mouse. The whole set up of the living room, dining room, and kitchen are designed in such an expensive fashion that it's not hard to believe that Kevin's parents make a lot of money. He won't be getting anymore birthday money from them after tonight though, that's for sure. Quietly tip toeing around the back of the couch, I head to the wooden staircase where faint talking can be heard. I then take the steps one at a time, my pace getting up them equal to that of any horror movie protagonist, which is to say slow and steady. The steps creak sometimes and I outwardly cringe at that moments, thinking that I'll be given away for sure. But yet, I make it to the top a couple seconds later and Kevin hasn't been alarmed yet. Creeping to the door frame, I then peek inside the room, evidently Kevin's bedroom. What I see makes me want to regurgitate my soda onto the floor. The girl is topless, with her bra still on, and is sitting on her legs while resting on Kevin's lap with her arms wrapped around the back of his neck. Both are tonguing relentlessly, which is the most vomit worthy part of it all and now I can't wait to interrupt this, especially if it means getting this girl to put her shirt back on and getting her away from Kevin. Stepping into the open doorway, I plant my feet and cross my arms.
"Reasons like this are why doors should be shut, you know" I say out loud, causing the couple to pause in their kissing.
The girl lets out a small shriek while Kevin develops a pissed off look on his face.
"The fuck are you doing in here, Universe?" The self-entitled prick growls.
"Me? Oh, nothing. Just wondered if you could help answer a question I had" I reply casually. Kevin rolls his eyes and scoffs.
"Come back later when I'm not busy with Jessica and maybe I won't break your face for this" He threatens, holding the girl close to him.
Exhaling calmly, my wrist blade extends, making both of their eyes widen.
"That wasn't a question. So don't dismiss it like one" I reply, my gaze firm and locked.
At the appearance of my blade, the girl, Jessica, gathers up her shirt from the ground and quickly scampers out of the room, being smarter than I gave her credit for. Kevin's pretty mad now that I made his make out partner up and vanish. He gets up and starts to get all up in my face. Before he gets too close though, my blade gets embedded in his stomach. He chokes and gags, his hands covering the wound after I pull the blade. Following it up with a quick slash across the throat, Kevin's on his knees and then onto his ass. I flick my blade to get some of the blood off, giving him a tiny window to try and crawl to safety. We both know it won't be enough, but goes for it anyway, flipping onto his stomach and attempting to reach the door but only to get grounded with my foot. Though he's crying in pain, his wails are so halfhearted that people down the stairs wouldn't have heard it. Shifting my foot to the back of his head, I bend down close to his face, his eyes inches from my own. I then lightly poke him with the tip of my blade, his cries muffling down to a whimper at this point.
"Alright, now that I have your clear and undivided attention, see if you can answer this question for me" I mumble softly, positioning my blade tip over his right.
Kevin's shaking now and to be honest, I don't blame him.
"How high's your pain tolerance?" I ask him calmly.
Alesha's P.O.V
It's been about ten minutes since Steven left me. Well, not me specifically, but left the little group we barged into. In a way though, I'm kinda glad he did because I happened to notice those three named Abby, Sophia, and Mackenzie were attempting to flirt with him. Nothing makes me more mad that girls thinking they have a right to steal Steven away from me. I was able to calm down once he left, that much I know, but so help me God, if those three sluts bring it up and brag about it, that part of me is gonna take over my mind.
I've never talked so much in my life and speaking with Mina, who's actually Mackenzie's sister, really put my chatting limit to the test. Many times I wanted to tell her to 'shut it', but that'd make me stand out as mean and the whole point of socializing with these morons is to blend in and NOT stand out. The shorter brunette eventually trailed off and went to refill everyone's drinks about a minute ago, sparing me any wear and tear on my vocal cords. I'm kinda on my own at the moment, the trio of potential homewreckers all giggling to each other and purposely excluding me. Still, I found something to do, which is looking around at the other members of the party. Boring as heck, but what's a girl to do in this situation? Maybe I should've asked Steven if I could come with him. I don't mind what he does and at least we'd be spending time together, but sadly it's a little late to be thinking about that. Placing my hands on my hips and staring at the grass, I wonder what's taking either Steven or Mina so long. With Steven, I'll feel ten times happier that I am now, but at least with Mina, I'll have someone to converse with. I look up and try to search for her in this beehive of ignorant teenagers and college students. While I don't spot Mina, two others catch my eye.
Both are on the short side, but one has purple skin with long silvery hair and is wearing some dark grey ripped jean shorts with black stars on them and an accompanying black tank top that's ripped in the middle to show a gemstone-like rock pierced into her chest. The second person is hauntingly reminiscent to the policeman who arrested me so many nights ago, having long black hair, brown skin, and dressed in a white polo shirt, a dark purple skirt, and red shoes with white accents around the edges. If I didn't know any better, I'd said the second girl must be Maheswaran's daughter, which complicates things a bit. Having a police officer's child here means she can call her father down here much sooner than Steven or I want. Not only that, but we're both technically fugitives of the law so we're both in danger now. The best thing that can happen now, because this whole change of events, is either they leave without seeing Steven and I, or we leave after he's done with his task.
"Hey, Alesha" Abby calls, directing my attention away from the purple girl and police officer's daughter, "Come over and chat with us!".
Usually, because of how much I dislike their overall character, I'd decline and maybe get another soda. But now that's there's a threat here, I welcome this distraction. Trotting over to their little huddle, I end up on Sophia's left and Abby's right.
"So.." I begin, "What do you wanna talk about?".
"That boy you brought with you, is he your brother?" Mackenzie asked.
"God, no. Steven's my date for the night and if all goes well, my boyfriend by the night's conclusion" I set the record straight.
The girls nod, developing smiles. I frown critically. I have a bad feeling of where this might go.
"You definitely know how to pick them, Alesha" Abby continues for Mackenzie, stepping closer, "Got any big plans on how you want the night to end? A little secluded make out that eventually turns into him railing you to no end with that dick of his? Come on, spill!".
"That's disturbingly specific, Abby" I say with a raised eyebrow, "And what I choose to do with my boyfriend is none of your business".
"But is he your boyfriend yet?" Macknezie asks, her voice taking on a scheming tone, "Only until after the date is finished can you really call him that. Since that's not the case, Steven's not yours to claim yet, which gives me a very good idea~".
I clench my fists, my anger rising and my other side threatening to emerge.
"What is it, Kenz?" Sophia inquires.
Mackenzie grins like she's plotting something maliciously evil.
"Simple, we get to him first before Alesha can. It'll be our first foursome ever! We just need to find him though" The taller brunette replies nonchalantly.
Abby and Sophia are shocked by this sudden idea, but then agree with Mackenzie. Their giggling and words about Steven are enough to do me in.
And then, it happens.
Those feelings return. Feelings that have been laying dormant for a while now, but now resurfaced because of these whores. Deep rage and killing intent bubble inside me like a witch's cauldron. How dare they think that they can fuck MY Steven? He's mine! Mine, mine, mine, and ALWAYS will be! These three are trying to take him away from me! His dick is only allowed in my pussy, not those dirty skanks! They'll have to die. Then, Steven won't be corrupted by their sluttiness. He'll be with me, where he forever belongs...
"You know, I think I saw him go into Kevin's house. Could be trying to get away from all the commotion out here. Whaddya you say we go in their and have our way with him, girls?" Abby grins, similar expressions developing Mackenzie's and Sophia's faces.
The three then start walking over to the back door of the house. What they don't know is I'm right behind them, reaching under and behind my shirt to pull out a butcher knife. Gripping it in my shaking hands, I almost giggle myself, knowing how fun it'll be to kill these girls. All the sluts quickly enter and shut the door, me behind them, and make their way towards the staircase by the front door. Sophia's the closest, so I clamp my hand over her mouth and slit her throat with my knife. Her neck begins bleeding very quickly, the red dripping out like a miniature waterfall as her body falls to the ground. The sound is heard by her other two friends, but as they turn around to see the cause of the noise, I slice through Abby's throat too and go to stab at Mackenzie. Abby falls as quick as Sophia, her blood running along the hardwood floor as I slash at Mackenzie, who clearly doesn't know how to defend herself. Every slice of mine connects with her flesh, creating multiple cuts on her face, arms, and chest before I down her with a stab in between her breasts. Mackenzie's then on her back, blood running from all over her body as I straddle her dying form. Her eyes beg for mercy, but I have none for those trying to steal my Steven away from his future wife and mother of his kids. I then relentlessly stab her in the chest, getting her heart on one of them.
"He's mine, he's mine, he's mine" I repeat to her, over and over.
Mackenzie dies right there on the floor, bringing instant relief to me. These bitches are dead and won't ever take him away from me. Now, I have to dispose of these bodies so Steven won't know. Sure, I want him to know what I do for him, but I'm also worried he'll try to leave me if I show him this side of me. Locating the basement door, which is cut into the wall below the staircase, I swing the door open and drag the girls one by one to the opening before letting their useless carcasses tumble down to the cold pavement below. I then shut the door, go into the kitchen, and grab a roll of paper towels from the pantry. With these paper towels, I wipe up as much of the blood as I can, being sure to be as thorough as possible. It's all done soon and I toss them all in the trash before getting a pan, some bread, and some cheese slices out. Toasting the bread on the stove top and melting the cheese in between two pieces, I successfully create our dinner of grilled cheese sandwiches.
Putting both on a plate, I hold it in one hand while locking the screen door with the other, closing the shades after that. I then shut off the lights down here, my path upstairs illuminated by the hall light, and walk up the stairs to meet my future husband. I feel like proud wife cooking for him and I know he'll love it. Soon as I get to the top, I find him bent over Kevin's corpse, looking still fresh and bloody. To get his attention, I tap on the side of the doorway. Steven looks up and instantly develops a warm smile.
"Hey Alesha" He says, making butterflies go wild when he says my name, "What have you got there?"
"Well, I got bored with those people out there and thought to myself that I'd come in and make us dinner to finish off our date. I also locked the door and closed the blinds so we won't be disturbed~" I say, adding a seductive level to my voice at the end.
Steven smiles wider and comes over to hold my head in his hands and kiss it gently.
"You're too perfect, Alesha" He murmurs against my scalp.
I blush and we go to sit on Kevin's bed, our stomachs telling us to eat already. We happily oblige and consume those things in record time. The stickiness and warmness of the cheese and bread make me feel sleepy and I kinda want to suggest that we just crash here for the night before moving on in the morning. Steven must've been thinking the same thing because he stands up and brings me up with him.
"Since Kevin's dead now and we've clearly sent the message that nobody's allowed inside the house, how would you like to stay here tonight and head out tomorrow?" My future husband proposes.
I then decide to ask him the question I've wanted to ask him since I first met him.
"Yes, but first I want to know something. Will you, Steven Universe, take me to be your girlfriend?" I ask.
He grins, both of us already knowing the answer.
"More than anything. But will you take me to be your boyfriend?" Steven asks in return.
I lean forward and kiss him, using my tongue to enter his mouth for a second before retracting.
"How's that for an answer?" I whisper in his ear.
He kisses me back, showing that two can play that game, and holds my hand to pull me behind him as we exit the dead asshole's room and go down the hall to the guest bedroom. After shutting the door, locking it, and shutting the window, the two of us crash onto the bed. I then wrap my arms around his warm body, snuggling close and inhaling his scent. It's all mine. Steven soon makes himself comfortable as well, holding onto my back as his chin rests on my head. We both whisper 'goodnight' and 'I love you' to each other before our voices cease and our slow breathing starts. With Steven in my arms, I soon fall asleep. Today was a good day and was important for me because it proved something that I must now keep in mind for as long as I live.
There will always be those that try to take my boyfriend from me. And they will all die because of it.
