I had the window rolled down as I looked out it, my hair flying every which way as I laughed along with J, our fingers intertwined.

I couldn't believe how amazing this felt. I had just killed a room full of people for no specific reason and somehow I felt great.

Adrenaline continued to pump through me as the car zipped down the streets of gotham to an unknown location. The curiousity of where we were going only made me smile more and bounce slightly on my seat as I looked out the window.

Suddenly we took a sharp turn and the jokers hand let go of my own, instantly throwing his arm over my chest so that I wouldnt go flying. I breathed a thanks, smiling as I looked at him.

He just gave me that giant grin and nodded, moving his hand to the sterring wheel as he kept his eyes on the road, his knuckles white from how hard he was gripping the wheel.

I knew he was excited for whatever this surprise was and I quickly looked towards the road as I felt us slow down and pull into a dark alley, parking.

I looked around confused, there was nothing here, just a parking lot and the old ace chemicals building.

The joker got out and came around to my side, opening my door and holding a hand out. I was confused as hell but I took it, getting out of the purple lamborghini.

"Why are we here J?"

I asked and followed him as he started to walk towards the factory. He looked over at me from the corner of his eye and let out a slight laugh.

"To finally seal our bond."

Our bond? What is he talking about?

I was suddenly pulled out of my thoughts as he shot the lock on the door, opening it.

"Ladys first"

I smiled and walked in, instantly being hit by the strong chemical sent. He wrapped an arm around my waist and started to pull me towards a staircase.

"This way doll."

I nodded and walked with him up the stairs. They seemed to go forever as we slowly walked up them, soon becoming higher then even the vats of chemicals.

I sighed as we finally reached a platform and watched as he went over to the ledge, looking down. I did the same and looked into the bubbling white substance that seemed to let off a green glow.

"Do you love me?"

My head snapped to the side as I looked at J who was staring intensly at me.

"Of course I love you!"

"Would you do anything for me."

"Yes, of course."

"So you'd die for me?"

"Yes. I would spare my life for yours a million times if I had to."

He rolled his head back, growling slightly before stopping it so it was slightly tilted to the right as he walked closer to me.

"Thats to easy. How about- would you.... would you live for me?"

I swallowed and looked at him deeply, pausing for a moment. This question had so much behind it, but I quickly chose my answer.

"Y-yes."

I scalded myself in my head for stuttering.

"Do you know why we're here?"

He asked as he looked down and I breathed in, looking down as well.

"I think I have an idea. You're going to make me like you, correct?"

He turned back towards me and grinned nodding. I smiled, this is what I was waiting for, this is what I wanted. To be exactly what he wanted.

"Do you want this?"

I nodded and he put a finger to my lip, pulling the bottom down slightly.

"Say it. pretty pretty pretty pretty pre-"

"Please."

I cut him off and he smiled wider.

"God, you're so....good. I love you."

I smiled and he gestured to the ledge as he backed up more.

I stood there looking down.

This is the end. I know it is and yet, I've never felt so alive.

I turned back around, looking at the psychotic man that I had grown to love. His smile was gone now and he seemed worried, as if he was questioning it himself now. I laughed thinking of the absurdity of it. We had just killed a whole room full of people and yet he was scared of something he'd already done twice.

"J."

He looked up at me and smiled walking back over to me, where I had my hand out.

"I'm glad, That you did all this. Even if I do feel myself slipping from what I've always known to be sanity, I could never be happier."

He nodded and kissed my hand. I had taken this oath, I was sworn to him forever now, there was no way I'd stop now. I slowly backed up as I kept my eyes on him.

"Goodbye J."

I spoke softly, and then, I let myself fall.

It felt like an eternity as I fell, my hair coming around my face as I stared at him, before finally hitting the acid.

I stung at first, but then it turned to a tingling sensation as my skin seemed to be alive. I didn't know how long it had been but suddenly the water moved and I saw another body inside the acid.

I quickly swam towards it, the other person doing the same as I realized it was J. He suddenly pulled me out of the acid and it was difficult to open my eyes, but then I felt his lips on mine and as he pulled away, my eyes and mouth burst open, getting my first breath.

I could feel the acid dripping down my body and my clothing was ruined, along with his but I didn't care as I smiled at him.

He swung his head back and let out a laugh as he held my body in his arms before coming back down and kissing me again. I never wanted this to end, and I had a feeling it never would.

I knew now, that sanity was far behind me and I didn't care as he picked my up bridal style and walked out with me.
