"Yes, yes, yes!" Hermione said jumping up and down

"What are you so exited about?" Ron asked

"It's a Hogsmeade weekend and Harry asked me."

"He did? Ok. I got practice, so..." and Ron left.

"What are you jumping up and down about, I heard if Nargles affect your brain to much, it will prove to overexcitement."

"Oh, it's not Nargels Luna, it's the fact that Harry is going to ask me to Hogsmeade."

"Ok, but I thought he liked Ginny." Hermione's mood went somber

"Yeah, but he broke up with her. She hasn't even said hi to me."

"I'm sorry, but it'd take some time to sink in for her. Has practice started for Harry, maybe you could go see him and try to talk to Ginny."

"You're right, Luna, you're the best." and Hermione hugged her and ran away. 

"Glad I could help." Luna whispered quietly and sighed, so quietly that Hermione barely heard it. It mustn't have been for me, she thought.

Harry and Hermione were talking to each other while everyone else were also talking to each other. Ginny was flying high in the air, alone.

"Don't you need to get the team to practice?" Hermione asked, blushing.

"Right, alright guys, time to practice." Harry called out. He vaguely hear Ginny muttering something about him but he ignored it.

After a nice bit of practice, Hermione and Harry went towards the castle together.

"So, are you exited for the Hogsmeade weekend."

"Yeah, I am. I haven't been with one since Victor."

"Krum?"

"Relax, it was nothing, anyway he must have found someone to marry anyway. He was a bit to old for me."

"He was 18 and you were 14 ,  3 years of difference."

"It's 4." said Hermione, hitting him playfully on the head, "Why not come to Slughorn's party for once, I'll be there."

"I guess you're  right, but Ron,"

"Ron, what?"

"I mean, I can't let him be left out and we always have a laugh about you and Maclagan, you're still my girl though."

"I wish I was part of the team, but I'm scared of flying."

"Maybe you might fly with me, one day."

"One day, why not add me to the team?"

"Are you mad? Add you to the team? Quidditch teams have been ruined with people adding their friends and girlfriends."

"Girlfriend?"

"Do you want to be mine Hermione."

"I, I umm...guess so." Hermione stuttered and Harry made his face go down.

Hogsmeade came and one cold morning, the students got ready for their trip. Harry and Hermione were holding their hands as Filtch called out their names. It turned out Ron wasn't going and neither was Ginny or Luna. 

Hermione sighed. It was her fault that Ginny wasn't going to Hogsmeade. Harry seemed to have noticed her mood, because he squeezed her hand tighter. Hermione gave him a small smile. Obviously Luna and Ginny were hanging out together and she didn't have to worry about her, not now, she was with Harry and that's what matters now.

Harry and Hermione went to lots of shops and after a long moment they went to the three broomsticks. It was very cold outside and the smell of butterbeer made Hermione sigh with relief. Harry got the drinks and Hermione took her coat off. 

"So how was today?" Harry asked her when both of them had their butter bears with them.

"Cold." said Hermione. It was the first thing which had popped in her head. Harry chuckled.

"I meant with me, not the weather, but you're right it was cold."

"Yeah, I mean, my toes are blue."

Harry and Hermione burst out laughing

"Mine are to." said Harry and they both of them began laughing again. After a nice time in the three broomsticks, Harry and Hermione went back to the castle. Then they bumped into someone.

"Ron!" Hermione exclaimed at the same time Harry exclaimed, "Mate!"

"Didn't mean to bump into you guys sorry." Ron muttered. 

"It's ok, are you alright?" Hermione asked

"I'm fi- Blimey!" Harry and Hermione turned around to see Katie.

After the attack, everyone was startled about Katie. Harry was worried about her, but also about the Quidditch team. He just added Dean in Katie's place so that was done. Harry and Hermione spent more time together. One particular day, Harry and Hermione were alone together in midnight.

"Are you ok?" Harry asked her, enjoying Hermione's hand in his head

"I'm good, it's that attack on Katie, it scared me." said Hermione

"I know, it's not the Hogsmeade I had pictured."

"It was fun, before Katie got cursed and it became dead cold." Harry and Hermione chuckled.

"I'm just wondering, do you think Ron has feelings for me?" Hermione asked

"I dunno, my best mate?" 

"I had a feeling he was following us, I guess I must be imagining it."

"Listen to me 'Mione, if Ron had feelings for you, he wouldn't be hiding it, he would have at least told me, would he?" Harry asked half worried

"Offcours he would, I'm just over reacting."

"Overreacting, when do you overreacted?"

"Idiot!" and Hermione slapped him on the head, "I better go to bed, see you tomorrow."

"Wait," said Harry, taking Hermione's arm, "Can you stay? For a few minutes? Please."

"Offcours I can." said Hermione
