"Hey Harry, I heard Slughorn is having a Christmas party." said Ginny casually to Harry in the library.

"Yeah, I was going to ask Hermione." said Harry unsure of where this was going

"Well I just thought that won't it be better if you asked someone else." said Ginny

"And not my girlfriend."

"Luna always wanted to go to the party, maybe you should invite her, she is a good friend."

"Umm...that's...I guess....thankyou so I should go to the party with her?"

"Yes, Hermione will be their to so you can dance the night away."

"I guess I will ask Luna and then just tell Hermione."

"Oh you are not going to tell I convinced you, Harry I'm just a commoner."

"Why can't Neville invite her."

"Because he is to busy with another girl Harry." said Ginny

"Oh so I will invite Luna then and tell Hermione that I made the decision by myself."

"At it Harry, good job, you figured out the game." said Ginny smiling

"What is going on with you?" Harry muttered as Ginny left.

"I just want to tell you Ginny made me do it."

"Do what?" asked Hermione

"Ask Luna to the party, she made me do it, but don't tell her, she would kill me."

"What am I going to do about that girl." said Hermione shaking her head

"So we cool?"

"You ask another girl to a party and I have to be cool with that?"

"Yeah..."

"Ok, sure, why not." said Hermione

"Really!"

"Yes, but next time don't let Ginny get under your skin, I'll invite Ron."

"Ok."

Hermione was drinking ideally by. Harry beside her.

"Where's Ron." Hermione asked on tiptoes.

"Oh, him he is dancing with Ginny." said Harry vaguely

"Ginny!" Hermione exclaimed with a chuckle

"Don't laugh, you know its not funny, a brother and sister dancing."

"It is unheard of, I know but it's nice to see Ron and his sister close."

"Have you seen Luna."

"Oh, she is probably dancing with Neville." said Hermione vaguely

"Neville!" Harry exclaimed with a chuckle

"Don't laugh, they are pretty good together.

Both of them stared at each other for a moment and then shared a quick kiss.

"I hope no one saw that." Hermione muttered

"I hope Ginny didn't see that." Harry muttered

Just the the Luna and Ron joined them and soon Ginny. Their was a lot of chatter and then Filtch came to the scene(Read Unusual, Slughorn's Party for more information).

"Are you sure we should not follow them?" Hermione asked Harry in a quiet voice.

"I'm sure." said Harry, "After all Ginny can handle anyone."

"This charismas is turning out interesting." said Hermione

"I think it will get a lot more interesting." said Harry

The burrow was the perfect place for charismas. Hermione would be sharing a room with Ginny and Fleur while Harry would be sharing a room with Ron. Ginny spent a lot of time in her room, only coming out for meals or going to Luna's house or just teasing Harry and Hermione. In the middle of the night Harry and Hermione would spend nights together but they would always get interrupted by Fred and George. 

So they went outside in the broom closet and their they got interrupted by Ginny since she did midnight broom riding so they went to the kitchen where they would get interrupted by Ron and sometimes Luna but sometimes Ginny was with them. So then they went to the bathroom which was occupied by Fleur and sometimes she was with Bill. They thought about trying one of the bedrooms and decided to not risk it. 

"This is the worst charismas ever." Harry pouted sitting on the armchair

"Come on this is the best charismas ever." said Ron

"Harry, just because we are not getting time alone that doesn't mean it's the worst charismas ever." said Hermione

"And Ron barely spending time with us." said Harry

"Oi! I just don't like being a third wheel." said Ron

"Hey mum told that you have to the village with Luna." said Ginny joining them in the living room

"Why?" Ron asked

"Maybe I might have added the last part but you need to get some food and charismas dinner, oh and has Ron ever told you about how he nearly died?" 

"WHAT!?" Hermione and Harry exclaimed

"You will not tell them." said Ron angrily

"Go to the village with Luna then."

"Fine." and then Ron stomped away to his bedroom. Ginny opened her mouth but Ron yelled, "NO!" and Ginny closed her mouth again. 

"Since my brother doesn't clearly want me to tell you about how he died, you would have to ask it, now I have to go to the village, I'll see you two later."

"Wait but didn't you just say Ron needs to go to the village?" Harry said confused as Ginny left and Hermione giggled.

"Do you really think she can spend that much time in her room, she has to go out you know." said Hermione between giggles, "She can't spend time at all inside so it makes some sense."

"Umm..."

"HARRY! You dated her for what, 1 month?"

"1 week."

"HARRY! And how many times have you been here."

"2nd, 4th, 5th, and now 6th year."

"See, you have been here for so long and you still didn't know that Ginny can not stay in the same place for very long."

"Well I might not have been that observant."

"Harry!"

Just then both of them realized they were alone, completely alone.

"This is the best charismas ever Fred."

"You are right George."

"Ok that's it." said Hermione getting up and pointing her wand at the twins.

"Hermione." said Fred scared

"You can't use magic." George added, a bit scared himself

"I am seventeen, did you forget, honestly only Ginny and Fleur ever remember my age."

"I remember your age." said Harry

"When is my birthday then?" Hermione asked turning around to face him

"August 11th?"

"That's Ginny's birthday!" Hermione exclaimed

"No, her birthday is on 19th September."

"That's my birthday, oh honestly all you boys are the same, now both of you." she turned back to face the twins to find that they were gone. 

"This is the worst charismas ever." Hermione pouted sitting on Harry's lap.

"Do you hear that?" Harry asked, taking a strand of Hermione's hand and rolling it in his finger.

"What? I don't hear anything." said Hermione

"Exactly and that is the sound of a-"

His words were cut of by an explosion from Fred and George's room. Molly yelled, "TWINS! I'M COMING IN!" 

"Mrs Weasley is their anything to eat?" Luna asked now coming in front of them

"Luna you always come here for food." Ginny said crossing her arms but she hugged her and both of them laughed. Hermione gave them a curious look.

"What?" Harry asked quietly in her ear

"What's funny, it sounded like Ginny was insulting her." Hermione whispered quietly

"It was an inside joke." 

"I know, but I feel like I'm losing a friend. I love Ginny."

"And I love you to Hermione..." Harry mumbled without thinking. Hermione turned to face him. 

"Not what you said?" Harry asked breathless 

"No, not at all." said Hermione. Harry went pink with embarrassment. 

"I love you to Harry." 

"Where did everyone go?" Hermione asked after a while

"No idea, but we are alone aren't we."

"Hey have you seen Luna, I have to take her to the village with me." said Ron coming into their view, "Blimey!"

"Ron.." Ginny pouted, getting up from behind the couch. Harry and Hermione jumped out of their position. Ginny grinned mischievously and a bit apologetically.

"Sorry, but Colin forgot his present for Denis,"

"He wants us?" Hermione stammered

"Not you  but Colin forgot Denis's present so he needs Harry's autograph for Denis and Denis needs and autograph for him because he forgot his present. That reminds me, can I get two more? I forgot their present."

Hermione and Harry were blinking, speechless after the speech.

"I'll take that as a yes then." said Ginny. Just then the twins appeared. They were only grinning mischievously.

"You got them, they would be perfect." said Fred to George

"They are very perfect." said George to Fred

"Well this is a not so Merry Christmas." said Hermione 

"It will get better soon, don't worry." said Harry with a small sigh
