Chapter 9
San and Wooyoung looked at each other with wide eyes and San tried to desperately stop the elevator from going down.
Unfortunately, the elevator couldn’t be stopped and they had to get off on the first stop then rush back to go back up and see what happened.
San felt more panic within him considering it was his son in there and so he was running quicker than Wooyoung was.
San burst into the room and saw Yongbok laying on the floor crying. Wooyoung ran in a few steps behind but a detail on the floor went unnoticed.
In a split second, Wooyoung had stepped into a water puddle and slid into San's back, causing them to both fall on the ground in an undignified heap. San ended up falling on his side and Wooyoung on top of him.
Wooyoung stared at San's side profile for a considerably long time until he broke out of his stare by a child's sniffle.
"Owwie!" Yongbok cried, not moving from the floor.
Wooyoung used San as the source to push himself off the floor and a series of grunts and grumbles came out of his boss' mouth. He ran over to the child and gently sat him up incase of any injury.
"Where does it hurt, sweetie?"
"My arm," Yongbok whimpered, pointing to his right arm.
Wooyoung carefully grabbed the arm Yongbok had pointed at but immediately let go when the child let out an ear-piercing shriek. It seemed it was the worst outcome. He either had a fractured or a broken arm.
"We're going to the hospital," San announced, walking over to where they were, picking up his son.
Changbin looked up at Wooyoung, unsure what to do.
"What should Binnie do?" Changbin asked, pointing to himself.
"I'll take you to your parents, okay?"
Wooyoung grabbed Changbin's hand and led the child out of the room while walking behind San. To any person they appeared to be a happy little family but to them, they didn't even realize that that was how it appeared.
Unfortunately, Yongbok did indeed have a fractured arm and he wouldn't be able to use it for around two months and so he would have to learn to use his left hand. Wooyoung tagged along to the hospital to examine Yongboks arm and on the way back to work, he spent the time with the child on his lap in the front seat trying to comfort him.
Yongbok sat on a chair in the corner of his father’s office for the rest of the workday with Changbin drawing on his cast until Seonghwa and Hongjoong announced they were going home.
"Can Daddy Woo stay with us for the night?" Yongbok asked, holding onto Wooyoung's arm with his left hand.
San looked at Wooyoung to see his reaction but it remained neutral. He was willing to agree if the purple-haired male agreed.
"Why don't you ask him?"
Yongbok didn’t ask again but instead looked up at Wooyoung with begging eyes. Who was Wooyoung to say no?
"Sure, but only if you agree to let me use your blankie," Wooyoung joked.
Yongbok's eyes widened and he frantically nodded his head.
"You can even use Daddy's favourite blankie if you want!"
Wooyoung chuckled, patting Yongbok's head before the three exited San's office and went to the vehicle. San was originally going to stop at Wooyoung's apartment so the male could get extra clothes but he had other ideas and simply drove straight home while Yongbok sat on Wooyoung's lap in the front seat once again.
._._.
"FUCK YOU WOOYOUNG!"
"SAN AT THIS MOMENT I DON’T GIVE A SHIT THAT YOU'RE MY BOSS SO I'M TELLING YOU TO SHUT THE HELL UP AND SUCK IT UP!"
Yongbok sat on the sofa laughing at his parents' reactions. This was way too funny.
"Jung Wooyoung, I swear I'll beat your ass if you even think of it," San growled
Wooyoung smiled sweetly at San and placed a draw four on the table. San sent a killer glare but he wasn't mad.
He was simply unhappy that he had to draw twelve cards now that Wooyoung had somehow gotten the good cards. He was certain that the purple haired male had purposely separated the cards like that and was peeking when distributing them.
"What'cha gon’ do ‘bout that now, sweetie?" Wooyoung teased, smirking at San.
Wooyoung let out a shriek and toppled backwards as San lunged himself over the table and tackled him. San pulled Wooyoung to his chest and wrapped his legs around the smallers waist, rolling themselves on the floor as Wooyoung squealed and tried tickling San's side.
San nuzzled his face into his assistant's fluffy hair while they rolled around, liking the way it felt to wrap his arms around the smaller and squeezed him tightly but not painfully. He wasn't planning on letting go but Wooyoung managed to tickle him in a spot which made him let out a loud laugh and loosen his grip allowing the shorter to turn around and now face San.
"Sweetie, huh? Did I get an upgrade?" San teased, loving the way red dusted Wooyoung's face.
He didn't get a reply but instead, the smaller male buried his face into San's neck, relaxing. They didn't move from the floor and San gently ran his fingers through the purple hair, his legs now wrapped around Wooyoung's calves instead of waist. Everything was calm and quiet but not for long.
"Daddy I’m going to the bathroom because I need to pee," Yongbok announced, getting up from the sofa and speedily walking down the hall to the bathroom. Luckily, San had found him a pair of pants that would allow him to use the bathroom with little difficulty.
The mood was ruined but San was determined to pretend it wasn't so he began to softly hum while continuing the raking of his fingers in the purple hair.
"Y'know," San whispered, "I have something I want to tell you but you might see me differently."
Wooyoung pulled his head up a little bit and looked into San's eyes before letting it drop back down in the crook of his boss' neck.
"I don't think anything you could tell me would make me think differently."
"Well how about if I say I have a tiny, not so tiny attraction to you?"
Wooyoung tensed slightly in San's arms but relaxed again.
"Well then I wouldn't believe you."
