Chapter 10

San frowned. Why would Wooyoung not believe him?

"Why not?"

Wooyoung lifted his head and stared into San's eyes for a solid five seconds and let out a small sigh

"Look at you and then look at me. There's so much difference between us and especially with the success. You could find someone much better than me and live happily."

"Wooyoung-ie, does it look like I care about the success? This is why I'm telling you I like you. You're the only person that I have actually ever liked and the only person that doesn’t see me for money."

"Sannie," Wooyoung began, sighing, "Even if I did like you back, we couldn't be together. Like I said, the differences and also I wouldn't be able to fulfill your needs like partners do once they date or get married."

"What kind of needs are you talking about?" San asked, rubbing his nose on Wooyoung's head.

"You know, sexual needs."

San tilted Wooyoung's head to meet his eyes and gave a smile.

"Woo, a relationship doesn't have to be based on sexual activities and I would never force you to do something sexual if you didn't want to. Hugging or cuddling like this is enough for me and as long as I can give forehead kisses, not even lip to lip, I would be satisfied."

Wooyoung stared at him, looking for any signs of lying but he found none. He was happy. So damn happy.

Why was San so perfect?

He was so happy he didn't realize tears started falling out.

"Young-ie? Why are you crying?" San whispered, wiping away the tears with his thumb.

"You're so perfect and that made me happy."

San let out a small laugh and that made Wooyoung cry harder because he liked the way it vibrated against his chest and made him feel warm. Why couldn't he always be happy like this?

"Why is Daddy Woo crying?" Yongbok asked, walking into the living room with his left hand dripping with water.

"He's happy."

"You can cry when you're happy?" Yongbok asked, puzzled. "Daddy Woo is funny," he giggled.

Yongbok didn't plan on sticking around and instead just knelt on the floor beside San and Wooyoung and kissed their foreheads.

"Goodnight. I'm sleepy."

That left the two on the floor with uno cards surrounding them and happiness in their chests.

"Should we go to sleep as well?" San whispered.

Wooyoung nodded and began to get up but San held him in place and got up, carrying him to San's large room.

"You can use my clothes if you want to."

"Yes please. I don’t think staying in a suit is very comfortable."

San was still holding Wooyoung when they entered his room so he simply carried the younger to the dresser that contained all his comfort clothes and allowed Wooyoung to choose the ones he wanted to wear.

After Wooyoung got dressed comfortably in the clothes he decided he wanted to use, they lay in San's huge bed facing each other. The noise the air conditioner and fan put together made the room feel relaxing and the thick blanket was extremely comforting.

"You know," San said, stroking the side of Wooyoung's face with his hand, "You're real damn adorable."

Wooyoung giggled in response and leaned closer to rub his nose against San's one.

"Wooyoung-ie, I want to ask you something," San whispered, using the little bit of light from a night light Yongbok had left in a corner to look at the youngers face.

"Ask away."

"I want to make us official but I don't know if you would be willing to. If you agree, then will you be my very adorable boyfriend?" San asked with hope in his eyes.

Wooyoung took in a sharp breath and shakily let it out. He had never been in a relationship so this was new.

"Sannie, before I answer that, I have many things you should know about. And after you hear them, there's a high chance you wouldn't want to be with me."

"As long as you aren't some form of horrible criminal, especially one that is associated with children, then there doesn't seem to be anything that I would hate."

Wooyoung let out a small laugh at that and shook his head.

"Sannie, I will agree to be your 'very adorable boyfriend' as long as you're willing to wait for me. By that, I mean that I don't think I'll be able to give you any lip to lip kisses but I won't mind the other places like forehead, nose, or cheek nor will I be able to satisfy any sexual needs."

"And that's alright. I'll wait for you and give you all the time you need," San responded, kissing Wooyoung's forehead.

Wooyoung giggled and moved closer to San. This was way too good to be true. He was in his first relationship and it was with the most perfect person he had ever met?

An actual miracle.

"Can I hold your hand whenever I want?" San asked, pulling Wooyoung to his chest.

"Of course you can. But I can also give you kisses whenever, right?"

"Most definitely."

Wooyoung giggled and placed kisses under San's jaw and neck, sighing in happiness. The two lay in the darkness enveloped in the fluffy blanket and the cool air making the temperature just right to cuddle.

._._.

They spent the next day, Sunday, by laying on the bed and giving each other tiny kisses and tickling each other but mostly just talking. It was near 1 PM when Yongbok barged into the room, wearing only a pair of pants and held a shirt in his left hand with tears pooling in his eyes.

"What's wrong, sweetie?" Wooyoung asked, climbing over San to sit on the edge of the bed and see what the child needed.

"I can't put on my shirt. It hurts."

"Come here, baby. I'll help you."

Yongbok walked closer to the purple-haired male and handed him his shirt. Wooyoung carefully helped him put it through the fractured right arm and then over his head. San just watched from under his blanket with fondness.

He loved the way the little bit of light in the room made Wooyoung's face glow and the way he was so gentle with his son.

Jung Wooyoung was just beautiful.

San placed his hand on Wooyoung's back and ran his fingers up and down the sides. He noticed that Wooyoung had gotten even thinner and frowned. That was it, they were going out for a meal.

"Yongbok did you brush your teeth?" San asked, peering around Wooyoung to look at his son.

"YUP!"

"Okay great, did you eat breakfast?"

"Yup, the lady made me pancakes!"

"That's nice. Go get your shoes and socks. We're going out for lunch."

Yongbok immediately bounced out the door and dashed to find his shoes.

"Oh? Will you drop me off at my apartment along the way?" Wooyoung asked, a bit disappointed that he wouldn't spend more time with San.

"What do you mean? We're going out together. I'm not dropping you off at home anytime soon so let's go get ready now."

A large smile spread across Wooyoung's face and he tackled San on the bed with a big hug and tiny kisses.

"You're so amazing!" Wooyoung gushed, burying his face into San's neck and making him laugh.

Wooyoung managed to find clothes that he liked in San's drawers, creating a phenomenal attire. San didn’t even know he could have paired those clothes together to make them look good but yet Wooyoung seemed to pull them out of nowhere.

Needless to say, the meal was delicious and Wooyoung enjoyed himself immensely. He finally felt as if he fit in somewhere and as if he had his own little family. San made him feel loved and appreciated and Yobgbok was simply adorable and a perfect child.

"Daddy Woo, when will you come live with us?" Yongbok asked, chocolate syrup covering a part of his face from a piece of cake the restaurant gave because they found the child adorable.

"I don't think that will happen anytime soon," Wooyoung laughed, cleaning the child's face.

"But you still haven't shared my favourite blankie with me," the child pouted. "You only used Daddy's one."

"Maybe another time, alright?"

San smiled at that answer. By the sounds of it, Wooyoung intended on staying over on more occasions and that made San happy.

San ordered an extra plate of food to take with them home and walked out the restaurant after paying with Yongbok bouncing in front of him and Wooyoung holding onto San's hand.

"Should we go home?" San asked, directing the question at Wooyoung.

"Sur-"

"NO! I want a pet fishy! Can we please get a pet fishy?" Yongbok asked, looking up at San with wide, expectant eyes.

"Absolutely no-"

"That's adorable," Wooyoung coo-ed ruffling Yongbok's hair. "Sannie he doesn't even have a pet and a fish doesn't need that much care."

San was stuck. His son was begging him for a fish that he really didn't want in his house and his boyfriend was now taking his son's side.

The three stopped on the sidewalk with the two facing San, waiting for an answer. If Yongbok wanted a fish, then San wasn't going to get a small fish tank. It was either going to be big as fuck or no fish tank at all.

"Fine but on ONE condition. You have to wait at least two weeks, alright?"

That answer seemed to satisfy Yongbok and he nodded eagerly while Wooyoung was puzzled why the child had to wait two weeks but didnt question it.

"Can we get ice cream?" Wooyoung shyly asked, spotting an ice cream shop.

Yes, he had just eaten a meal larger than he normally ate but he hadn't eaten ice cream in years and the sudden craving hit him harder than he expected. He never bought himself ice cream because he was always trying to manage his money and he didn't want to spend it on unnecessary things but at that moment, he was willing to spend his money for a rare treat. He was also willing to push away the feeling of disgust towards food and start working on eating more.

It was difficult but Wooyoung had been working on it for some time.

San found the shy question adorable and squashed the smallers cheek between his thumb and index finger.

"So adorable!" San squealed, "Yes we can and I'm paying."

Wooyoung simply giggled and sped up the walking process to get the ice cream quicker.

He pressed his nose against the glass that displayed the flavours of ice cream once they reached inside the shop, examining them all. They all looked heavenly.

"CHEESECAKE!" Yongbok yelled, gaining the attention of everyone. "Daddy, I want cheesecake ice cream!"

Of course, San already knew that. It was the only flavour his son ever chose.

"Does it taste nice?" Wooyoung asked the child, who immediately nodded. "Well then I want one as well."

San's heart couldn't take it. He just wanted to combust every time his two favourite people interacted so cutely with each other. He sucked in a breath and slowly let it out to calm down and ordered the ice cream for the two and a blueberry flavour for himself.

The three decided to take a walk around while eating ice cream, Yongbok holding onto Wooyoung's hand. San frowned at that since his son held his boyfriend’s only free hand as much as he could with his damaged arm but didn't say anything considering Wooyoung might tease him for being jealous of a five-year-old. San knew it wasn't good to be jealous of his own son but he couldn't help it. His child stealing away HIS boyfriend?

Preposterous.

"I'll go make a phone call," San announced, leaving the two on a bench they had found.

Wooyoung nodded and stayed with Yongbok, wiping any stray ice cream with a napkin they had received and booping his nose every now and then because he thought the way it scrunched was adorable. San arrived a moment after with a smug smile on his face.

"Why don't we go look for the fishes that we would want to buy?" San said, wiping his mouth in case of any ice cream.

"YES!"

Wooyoung laughed at the child and together, they looked for a pet store that contained a variety of fishes.

They managed to find one and once inside, the colours and sizes of the fishes ranged and Yongbok's eyes widened in excitement.

"Daddy! I saw this one in a book at school!" Yongbok exclaimed, pointing at an angelfish.

San examined the fish and thought it was quite... ugly. Honestly, a lot of the fishes were ugly to San. The prices also varied and some of them just made him wonder how a piece of scaley meat with fins could have such a great value.

The girl working the cashier scanned the three and wrinkled her nose in disgust. San didn’t know why but if she said something insulting, he would have a nice little chat with her working position using his status and power.

"Sirs, you do know that our fishes are all high quality and expensive, right? Those fishes are the cheap ones but I can tell those are the only ones you can afford," she said, scrunching her face.

San was a bit stunned by the tone but didn't say anything. Was it their choice of clothes? Was she discriminating against them as a couple? Or was it just the girl judging them even though they looked quite dashing? San didn’t know but he would play along.
