AUTHOR'S POV
Jungkook could feel the emotions developing inside him like waves in the calm ocean. They struck hard on the shore of his heart. It made him feel lightened. Every moment struck his mind, playing like a movie.
It was hard for him to control, hard for him to ignore the waves inside him. A light tug on his arm. He blinked to his side to see Y/n patting his arm.
Her face glowed in the dimness, in the darkness of the cave, like a warm sun on a rainy day to him.
He could see the warm rays radiating from her face.
Y/n didn't know what was going inside his mind but she surely knew something was not right. This was the least she could do. A gesture to calm him. A gesture of kindness.
The quiet moment was enough for him to settle his emotions. Her silence and the air blended with soothe was enough for him. It was enough. He needed no more.
Next in line was his parent's painting. They both were ethereal together. His father, who was very similar to his grandfather, stood beside his mother. They both stood beside each other under a tree.
His mother had golden brown hair which shone in the sunset's rays. Both were shown smiling. Truly, his mother was mesmerizing and she gave birth to a handsome son.
Jungkook looked completely like them. Just one thing was which wasn't in him. It was the courage and determination which was in everyone in his family except him. He didn't feel it, he couldn't feel it.
He wanted himself to also have it and shine like them but he never got it. He pushed these thoughts.
Amidst this, a thought to get out of here struck Y/n. "Jungkook, let's get out of here." Jungkook remained silent letting everything engulf him. He nodded at her.
The cave was stretched more ahead but there were no pictures. Y/n made her feet walk and pulled Jungkook with her. She knew he must have felt nostalgic after viewing the pictures of his loved ones.
Walking in that direction, she felt like the darkness was engulfing them. Slowly yet steadily. Their footsteps were only audible in the deep silence.
Y/n came to a halt as she saw a large rock in front of them. It looked similar to the one which was at the opening. Looking over to Jungkook, she asked.
"Are you powerful enough to push it aside?" Challenging him while cocking an eyebrow at him, she asked with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Jungkook looked at her, blinking.
"I'll try."
He did what he said. Slightly running up to the side, with full force, he tried to push the rock to a side. It moved slightly and with a blow of full force at once again, he managed to succeed.
Light pants escaped his lips as he regained his breath and calmed down his nerves.
The orange sun's rays peeked through the path which was cleared, indicating the fall of night.
Y/n, who said it playfully and didn't think that he would actually do that, gaped at him with wide eyes and jaw dropped. 'Damn, he is that strong?', she thought.
Y/N'S POV
I stepped outside and finally felt relieved. Why were we doing this again? The guards had locked us, and we had to do something, which I'm not sure what it was. This is very confusing for me, it has given me a headache now.
A small neigh pulled me from my thoughts and I turned my head to see Jungkook's horse tied to a tree. Jungkook hopped on his horse. It was as black as coal. The black beauty.
He guided it and stood just in front of me. I blinked and slowly brought my hand closer to its head. It nozzles under my touch bringing the soothing calmness I would feel when I was close to Fury.
For a moment, I saw Fury's face in it. "What's his name?" Out of curiosity, I couldn't help but want to know more about this creature.
"She's Luna. Isn't she sweet?"
Sure she was sweet. It surprised me how different our horses were. Mine was white, while his horse was black. My Fury was male and Luna was a female.
"Come on now. Let's go back." He patted at the space on the Luna before him while he stretched out a hand. I took it and my hand warmed up against his. Taking a seat on her, Jungkook led Luna from behind me.
The air passed us as Luna picked up pace. I took this chance to examine my surroundings, who knew if I would be able to see this again or not?
It was getting dark, and the forest no longer looked as beautiful as it was in the daylight. I looked over at my sides. Green bushes were what I saw. Without giving much thought to it, I was going to look away but two slight red lights caught my attention.
I stared at it but it was no longer there. My heart started to thump against my chest and I felt cold all of a sudden.
What was that?
_
Hey all!
Hmm, any guesses on what it was?
Let me not blurt it out now. :)
Bye💜💜💜
