I woke up the next morning bounding with excitement. I jumped out of bed and woke Vincent up

"HEY OH MY GAWRSH IT IS DA 4TH OF JULY" I screamed Vincent woke up and he jumped

"Holy shiz woman calm down" He said and he too climbed out of bed.

"okay" I said but then couldn't keep calm so I ran into Mike's room and started to scream at him "WAKE UP IT IS DA 4TH OF JULY SO HOLY CRAP MIKE WAKE UP" Mike was a heavy sleeper and mumbled and fell back asleep I got an idea. I ran upstairs and grabbed a cup of warm water. I giggled and went back downstairs, Mike was still sleeping so everything was still to plan. I went up to Mike and put his hand in the cup of water. I waited and Mike did it, he peed himself. Mike woke up almost immediately and I laughed so hard. Jeremy and Vincent came downstairs and saw Mike

"Oh my god mike" Jeremy said

"PFffFT HAHAHAH" Vincent laughed with me

"Haha very funny (y/n)" Mike said giving me a death glare. I gave Mike new pants and I could barely wait until tonight. Mike, Jeremy, Vincent and I all went to the mall to pass the time. We hopped into my car and Vincent sat next to me and Jeremy and Mike sat in the back. I turned on the radio and Mike got all jumpy

"Hey I know this song" He said "we're going on a trip in our favorite rocket ship ZOOMING THROUGH THE SKY" Mike sang the last part alone "LITTLE EINSTIENS, hey what the heck" Mike said disappointed his song got turned off.

"That song annoys me to hell" Vincent said so Mike started shouting again

"Fine.... CLIMB ABORD GET READY TO EXPLORE THERE'S SO MUCH TO FIND LITTLE EINSTIENS" Mike smiled finishing his song and started it again.

"SHUT UP" Vincent shouted

"H-hey g-guys stop" Jeremy said as Vincent kept shouting shut up and Mike screaming the little Einsteins. "OH M-MY GOD S-STOP" Jeremy was shouting too and I got annoyed so I slammed on the brakes sending everyone forwards.

"FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ALL OF YOU SHUT UP" I screamed a headache now present from all of the noise.

"S-sorry" Jeremy hung his head low

"Well Jesus woman" Mike said I shot him a dirty look "Okay sorry"

"Sorry" Vincent said "Maybe" he added quickly I punched him playfully in the arm "Aww you know you love me" Vincent teased

"hmm" I said smiling

"Come on" Vincent said putting his hand on my thigh.

"No" I said grinning

"C'mon"

"Maybe" I giggled

"C'mon, c'mon" Vincent was begging like a child

"Okay fine" I said I pulled into the mall parking lot and we all got out of the car. We all walked into the mall and there were people everywhere picking out swimming suits for their own party getting fireworks at the tent outside and people getting food and people doing things I didn't even recognize. I saw a store full of clothes for the 4th of July and I got a brilliant idea. I grabbed Vincent's hand and rushed over to the store. I walked in and Vincent looked a bit confused

"There is nothing purple here I demand to know why we are here" Vincent looked at me

"You'll see" I said and I dragged Vincent over to a rack of shirts that were star spangled

"Oh no" Vincent said I giggled and pulled a shirt off of the rack. It was probably the most ridiculous shirt in the store. It was a tank top kind of shirt and it had red white and blue sparkles on it. Vincent face palmed and I laughed.

"You need to wear this" I said trying to conceal my laughter

"No" Vincent said

"Aww come on" I said trying to imitate Vincent when we were in the car "You know you love me" I said I gave a little pouty face.

Vincent rolled his eyes "Fine" He said and I threw the shirt at him and I ran around the store and came back with a pair of shorts that were red white and blue tie dye and socks that looked like a bunch of little American flags and star spangled light up glasses

"Here you are wearing this tonight" I said

"Oh my god what did I agree to" Vincent moaned "Okay but I get to pick an outfit for you" He said

"Fine" I said cheerfully I paid for the clothes, and Vincent dragged me to a woman's clothing store and went looking around. I waited by the dressing room and played on my phone. When Vincent came back he had a muscle shirt that would show off most of my skin and booty shorts. "Oh greaaat" I said I grabbed the clothes and headed into the dressing room. I threw on the muscle T it said "4th of July" in really pretty letters and the booty shorts had a faint blue and red tint to it and there were white stars lining the pockets. To be honest I looked pretty good. I walked out,

"DAYUM" Vincent said, I blushed and rolled my eyes

"I look like a hooker with all of this skin showing" I said turning around

"You look pretty hot" Vincent said and slapped my butt, I once again punched Vincent in the arm and went back into the dressing room and got changed. I was so excited for tonight. I walked out and Vincent paid for my clothes. When we walked out I saw Jeremy and Mike at a gaming store. Mike was buying a figurine for Jeremy. The character was anime and she was wearing clothed I didn't know even existed.

"What did you two get" Mike asked looking at our bags raising an eyebrow

"You'll see tonight" I said giggling and Vincent chuckled. We all headed to the food court for lunch when we were done eating we went back to my house. I went inside and collapsed on my bed. Vincent came in and jumped onto the bed hitting me with a pillow

"Oh no you didn't" I said grabbing the pillow next to me

"Oh yes I did" Vincent said in a girl imitation which made me laugh. I got struck in the face by a pillow and I fell over, we were both standing on the bed. I swung my pillow and hit Vincent in the face...hard. He collapsed and covered his face with his hands

"Oh my gosh Vincent are you okay" I peeled his hands away from his face and he was grinning

"Of course I am" He said and hit me with the pillow which made me fall onto Vincent. I blushed

"I-I'm s-sorry" I said

"Naw don't be" Vincent said and he pulled me into a kiss, then Mike crashed our party

"Sorry to interrupt you two lovebirds but do you have any anime movies" Mike asked I rolled off of Vincent and stood up

"No I don't but you can check on Netflix I have it on my computer" I said

"Yup okay" Mike said and walked off closing the door behind him.

"Now where were we" Vincent said I giggled and went over and started kissing him again.

It was 8:00 and everybody arrived I was in my room with Vincent and he came out of my bathroom in the outfit I picked out for him. I laughed and took a picture and put my phone down

"I look like a rainbow" Vincent said "But now it is your turn" I nodded and grabbed my change of clothes and walked into the bathroom locking the door behind me making sure Vincent doesn't come in. I had my shirt off when my door flew open

"Ahh VINCENT" I shouted

"Your lock doesn't work Vincent wrapped his arms around my waist I pushed him off

"I have to get dressed now go" I said he nodded and walked out shutting the door. I sighed and changed when I was done I went out of the bathroom and Vincent was in the kitchen making toast.

"Ready" He said

"Ready" I replied and we walked out the door into the garage. Mike and Jeremy were standing right next to the door. Mike had a bottle of beer and had some necklace on. Jeremy had a Coke and he went out of the garage with a Bottle Rocket. There were so many fireworks going off at the same time and smoke bombs but none of the "big" fireworks were being put out until later. I grabbed a Ladybug Firework (Its the one that spins really fast and flies up rally high) and a lighter. I walked to the middle of the caudle de sac and lit the fire work. It flew up and landed on the neighbors rooftop

"Whoops" said a voice from behind me. I turned around it was my best friend (bff/n)!

"(bff/n) Its been ages" I gave him a big hug and he had another Ladybug Firework

"We should try that again" He said cheerfully I gave him the lighter and we set off another one this time it landed in the gutter of my house I shrugged and someone cleared their throat.

"Yes Vincent" I said

"Who's this" Vincent asked

"Its my best friend (bff/n)" I said

"Who's this" (bff/n) asked

"I'm her boyfriend" Vincent said he squinted his eyes

"OOOOOOOO you're jealous" I poked Vincent's chest, he blushed and gave me a kiss on the head and went back to the garage

"Wow" (bff/n) Said I nodded and we shot off some more fireworks. Then it was time for tank firework racing a bunch of kids put down some tanks and on the count of three they would light them. A small girl with hazel eyes and brown hair won. She was so cute we did another race except we had trains that went all different directions at certain points. I wasn't sure who won that one, but the trains were super loud. Jeremy took a handful of army men fireworks and he shot them off while some kids tried to catch the little men in their parachutes coming down.

Before we knew it was dark enough for us to bring out the fireworks that lit up the night. I grabbed a firework that shot off a bunch of the ones that went BOOM SIZZLE CRACKLE I loved those ones. I put them on the ground and lots of people were drunk throwing the small poppers at each other. I felt around but I couldn't find my lighter

"Here you go" Vincent had his glasses on and had my lighter. I laughed and lit the firework me and Vincent ran away from the explosion and watched from the edge of the driveway.

"Wow they are pretty" I said

"Yes they are" Vincent agreed and a sequence of explosions went off in gold. I looked at other people and they were all grabbing fireworks ready to shoot them off. Vincent grabbed me hand and took me to the middle of the calde de sac and there was a huge firework sitting in front of me I smiled and lit it as soon as the first one was done. This firework had smiley faces in it and crazy looking fireworks that spinned around in circles. It was so pretty

"Where did you get this" I asked in amazement

"From a friend" Vincent said "wait until the finale I picked up you'll love it" Vincent said I nodded and people were running around shooting off fireworks. For a long time me and Vincent set up a blanket and we laid on it together. We would occasionally shoot off a firework or grab some food but we mostly relaxed together. I got up and went into the garage when I heard a loud POP and then I felt a burning sensation on my foot I collapsed and screamed in pain.

"Oh my gosh I am so sorry I didn't mean for the firecracker to hit you" There was a small 10 year old boy standing in front of me and a black mega firecracker exploded. Blood was trickling down onto the floor and Vincent came running to my side

"What happened love" he asked

"Oh I just got hit with a firecracker no worries" I said

"Yes worries look at your foot" Vincent touched my foot and I winced. It was cut opened and blood was bleeding heavily from it.

"Sir I am so sorry" The boy said

"It-its fine" Vincent growled through his clenched teeth. We were working on not murdering everybody. Vincent wrapped my foot up and brought me out to the blanket again. I laid down and Vincent cuddled me into him. I relaxed and my foot stopped burning so much, there were so many beautiful fireworks being shot off and it was getting really late. Vincent gave me a piggy back ride to go shoot off the last firework. He brought a chair with him and he sat me down in it not far from the driveway he walked to the middle of the caulde de sac and lit the firework.

"Look up the entire time" He said finally reaching me, I nodded and fireworks stared shooting out. The booming show went on for a while then words started shooting out.

I looked down and Vincent was in front of me on one knee. He held out a ring with a diamond with purple accents in it. It was so beautiful

"Yes" I managed to squeak out. I was smiling and Vincent slid the ring onto my finger and hugged me. I was so happy, Vincent gave me another piggy back ride and we were hit with a bunch of "OOOOOO YOU GOT ENGAGED" And a bunch of "Congratulations" that sounded like something else from a bunch of drunk people.

"O-oh y-yay I'm h-happy for y-you" Jeremy said I smiled and gave him a high five

"Good job mmmmmmaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnn" Mike said he was drunk like no other. He tried to give Vincent a fist bump but he couldn't meet Vincent's hand. So Vincent and I headed inside and most people left some dragging people who passed out from drinking all night. Tonight was a really good night. I fell asleep fast, sleeping in my clothes.
