"All of that being said, I want to get my son back for a while. Because if my suspicion was right, then everything is a mess in between the two of you. I've known you two for too long and you both can't hide it. Taehyun also told me some things while we are alone.

I want you to fix everything but I also want you to take a break for a while. He won't go anywhere, he will stay with me. Both of you needed some time apart. You're guilty, hurting, and in a lot of confusion you have a lot of things to sort out. While my son, he needs to heal, he's so broke, his mind is scattered to places and he can't heal when he is always reminded of what you both have done.

I don't want to blame you in everything that has happened, but I hope this will serve as an eye opener to you. My son is losing himself right at this moment, as a father I hate you because you've hurt my son, but I am trying to understand you because I've been there in that same exact situation.

I know Taehyun will be affected by this decision but you needed to do this not to further more hurt the child and my son. If you still love him, you'll let him heal and find himself again.

When both of you are ready and is still opened to the thought of getting back together, you are still welcome in our family. But for now, you need to let go and let him repair himself, and not just him, but you also. If Jin also had done something wrong, he could have broken you in ways you only understand, so heal yourself. Both of you needs to be better."

Taehyung and Jin's Dad were at the front door of Taehyung and Jin's house when his father-in-law said that. Taehyung can't accept it but he knows the older man is right.

"Do you still think we can fix this? Are we still going to work out? Will I have him back? Will he accept me again?"

The fear of losing Seokjin was slowly creeping in his bones and he is finally waking up of how he dreaded this day to come but he is also the one who opened the door for it to become a reality.

"The answer is up to the both of you. If both of you wanted to mae this work, then it will. If only one of you fights for it, then it won't. Even if my desires was for you to fix it, if one of you is not cooperating and not doing an equal effort then just be good parents to Taehyun."

Jin's father doesn't want to lie and make Taehyung hope on the things that is not on his hands.

"Jin's mom and I's marriage is different. We may have done some shits in the past and overcame it together, it doesn't mean it can also work with you. Loving someone isn't just those pretty feelings it's a decision.

Just as how everyday you decide to stay with that person putting all your trust in them with the hopes of not getting disappointed, but what if it does? Will you decide to stay away or would you decide to trust again?

There are lots of questions and lots of answers but everything sums up to one thing, you need to decide.

Taehyung has no answers available right at this very moment, but he knew exactly what Jin's Dad is trying to say.

"Dad, you can take him home. I'm returning your son to you. I'll try to be better and be worthy of him again. If this is the only way, then so be it. I don't want to continually hurt him and our son. He deserves to be happy even if that means I needed to be out of the picture for some time."

Taehyung's dad tapped his shoulders and went inside and talked to Jin.

"Son, we're going home."

Jin who was still has tears in his eyes with the previous conversation he's has with his son is wondering why is his Dad suddenly is taking him home. "Why? What happened?"

"Nothing. I just wanted to be a father to my son. You know you can always tell me everything and I won't even judge you."

Seokjin's head was running with lots of thoughts.

"Did Taehyung told you that?"

"No. Now go and we'll talk when we arrive home. Daddy misses his only baby. Taehyun can sleep in your old room, and you'll be sleeping in ours, if you're ready you can tell me everything. But if you're not, well, your mom could bake you cookies and we'll eat it the whole night."

Seokjin was in tears again and he hugged his dad. He felt safe and secured in his arms. One feeling that Jin was robbed out for a long time now.

"Shhh, don't cry. It break daddy's heart." His Dad said as he pat his head and Jin cried even more.
