Story

Jaiden's P.O.V

I waved my hand in front of a wall, and a purple light border appeared. The FAE watched in wonder. "Back when the first group of the FAE was established, there was another group, right before that," I began, twirling a little as I spoke. A group of eight appeared, pictures of light. A smaller group of six stood further away. "These were six very different people, yet very much the same, sorta like all of you. But... but they never carried elemental magic. They had friendship magic. Rose, Embodiment of Sympathy; Ariella, Embodiment of Fun; Toby, Embodiment of Encouragement; Tahlia, Embodiment of Hope... Oscar, Embodiment of Empathy and finally, Jassin, Embodiment of Optimism. These five kept the world on its feet. That is... until one day.

"This day, it ruined everything. Toby and Rose were exposed to some sort of dark magic or something, and under some spell that no-one knows anything about anymore, they started driving the group apart. The only two left were Oscar and Jassin. You said the EAPE destroyed your village, yeah?"

"Mhm..." Oli nodded.

"Well, the same happened to them, with the EAPE too, actually. They are older than the FAE, by a long shot. No-one knows this, of course, but that's not our story.

"Oscar and Jassin were unfortunately seperated during that event, only temporarily, of course, but a lot happened during that week. Jassin went through some horrific family issues, and Oscar was just... he was different. When the two reunited, they helped each other through their struggles. They had the very same spark Oli and Joel do, it's very bizarre. And something's telling me that... the two of you may be ancestors of Oscar and Jassin."

Everyone just stared. At me. Then at Oli and Joel, who glanced at each other. I shrugged. The final picture of my story of Oscar and Jassin by Oli and Joel faded into nothing. I then went on to my other story, from my other burst of knowledge. Shelby.

"Okay, Shelby Grace, supposed-to-be Soul of Light, of Life, of what you stand to protect. Her soul is not just one, it is two," I began.

"What?" Scott cocked his head.

"Water, Lizzie's soul, did something to upset her, without making it clear it was to help. An entity offered its dark magic, and it corrupted Shelby's soul. This was ages ago, of course. The second part is smaller, a part of her soul that refused to take that dark magic. Why that is is unclear to me, but... but friendship magic should be able to bring that bit of her soul to light."

"And how do we use that magic?"

"Well, you came here to learn, did you not?" Adam asked.

Max's P.O.V

"I thought I wouldn't have to return to school," I moaned, leaning back in my chair.

James slapped a piece of paper and a pencil on the table in front of me. "You gotta know the basics before the fun stuff happens," he said. "Don't worry, it's real simple." He strolled away.

Rebecca wheeled in a blackboard. When I saw all the writing on it, my brain exploded. Ross, of whom I shared a table with, put a hand on my shoulder. "C'mon, Max, it'll be worth it," he said.

"He's right, ya know," James walked back past. He stopped next to me. "You're about to save so many lives with this magic, and your friendship bonds will be stronger than ever. You do want Shelby back, don't you?"

I nodded. James smiled and continued back to the front. "Okay, now, three things you MUST know," Rebecca began, "are just three simple words. Trust, loyalty, faith. Trust your friends, and be someone they can trust too. Be loyal, don't turn your back, stick up for your friends, stick by them. Have faith that you can get through this. Place faith in your friends, you won't get anywhere if you don't believe. I want you to write these things down."

We continued learning the friendship basics and stuff, and we were about to jump into a team building activity (which honestly I didn't think we needed but I mean ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) when a beam of red light knocked Jaiden off her feet. Her eyes were wide with fear. "They're here."
