Alexa woke up feeling all refreshed and happy after celebrating Y/N's achievement of Employee of the Month yesterday which resulted in the couple getting intimate once again. The Goddess was snuggling into Y/N's arms as she gave him kisses to his face which made him smile. 

As Alexa stroked his face, she thought of all their moments they had together, all the ups and the downs they went through which gave her an idea to get something for him. The Goddess slowly got out of his arms and put on her clothes that were scattered on the floor from last night. She kissed him on the forehead before she left the room.

The Goddess went downstairs to make herself a cup of coffee, she then called up Nessie and Erin.

Erin: good morning Lexi

Nessie: you look all happy today

Alexa: I am

Erin: so what are you up to?

Alexa: girls, I'm planning to get Y/N and myself a promise ring

The girls were surprised and giddy.

Erin: aww Lex that is so sweet of you

Alexa: Y/N is a rare gem in this world

Nessie: he is

Erin: so how are you going to get the promise ring?

Alexa: and that's where you two come in

Nessie: oh?

Alexa: I'm gonna tell Y/N that I'm just going to hang out with you girls, and that's when we're gonna look for the ring

Erin: oh, you're gonna surprise him

Alexa: exactly

Nessie: so what time we're going?

Alexa: around lunch time sounds good

Then the Goddess heard Y/N coming out.

Alexa: I'll see you girls later, my favorite person is awake

The girls waved goodbye and Alexa turned to see Y/N walking in; she walked to him and gave him a good morning kiss and hug.

Alexa: so how'd you sleep?

Y/N: I was gonna ask you the same question

Alexa giggled and blushed as the two recalled the events from last night.

Y/N: so you have any plans today?

Alexa: Erin, Nessie and I are going out around; how about you?

Y/N: that's why I got up early, I have work today

Alexa: you want some coffee before you leave?

Y/N: yeah sure

She gave Y/N a cup of the morning brew. Y/N's shift didn't start until 9:00 and since it was only 7:30, he still had time.

Alexa: so are you doing anything after work?

Y/N: nah, I'll just go home straight and play my games after an exhausting week

Alexa: will it make you feel better when I come over?

She said as she stroked his cheek.

Y/N: of course, you can come over; you can even spend the night if you want to

Alexa smiled and kissed him. Y/N finished his coffee and waved goodbye to the Goddess before he drove back home to change and wash up for work, but what he doesn't know is that Alexa has a surprise for him.

The Goddess went to wash up as well as she got ready for her day with her two best friends with her main focus on the jewelry.

(At the firm)

The employee of the month Y/N was doing his usual tasks when Rick opened up a conversation.

Rick: so Mr. Employee of the Month, how was your day yesterday?

Y/N: it's all good, I celebrated with my girlfriend, the Goddess herself

Rick: and I can see by that smile on your face that it was a great celebration

Y/N chuckled and shook his head.

Y/N: well after work, Alexa is coming over to my place to help relieve my stress from this week

Rick: you do you, man

The two fist bumped and went back to work.

(Meanwhile)

Alexa rode with Erin and Nessie to the mall as the Goddess was going to buy promise rings for herself and for her pure fan boyfriend. The Goddess was smiling while thinking about it.

Erin: I sense a cute smile on the Goddess

Erin playfully poked the Goddess while Alexa blushed and covered her face with her hands.

Nessie: someone is excited

Alexa: I'm just imagining Y/N's reaction when I give him the ring

Erin: how long have you two been together?

Alexa: almost close to a month and a half

Erin: we're all happy for you that Y/N gave you a second chance

Alexa: and I promised to not let him go again

Nessie: I'll say it before and I'll say it again, you two are made for each other

The three girls reached the mall and went inside to look around for the promise rings. Before that, they walked around to different stores to see anything that they might want to buy. They spent a good amount of time buying stuff before going to the last stop, the jewelry store.

The three girls looked around for the perfect promise rings until a pair caught the Goddess' attention. (see picture above)

Alexa: these two are perfect

Erin and Nessie saw the rings.

Nessie: excellent choice, Lex

Erin: those are perfect

Alexa asked the employee to get the two rings for a closer look. She smiled and nodded and decided to buy the two rings. She requested to put Y/N's ring in a small gift box. The three girls left the mall and drove off while the Goddess admired her ring on her finger.

Erin: Lexi, Y/N's going to love his promise ring

Alexa: I'm gonna add something to it

Nessie: what?

Alexa: I'm gonna write a note with it

Erin: what are you gonna write about?

Alexa: it will come from my heart

Nessie and Erin dropped off Alexa at her house. The Goddess saw on her phone that she got only four hours left until Y/N's work day was finished, so she used the time to write the note that will go along with the promise ring.

(Back with Y/N)

Y/N's work day was all peaceful as today it was Joy's day off. He managed to finish his work while he went to organize his files.

(A few hours later)

Y/N clocked out for the day and he received a text message from Alexa.

Alexa: I'll be coming over to your place in an hour

He replied back.

Y/N: okay, I'll be waiting

He put his phone away and drove back to his apartment. 

While Y/N waited for the Goddess to come over, he used his free hour to play Assassin's Creed III by killing the guards. Assassin's Creed was another of Y/N's stress relieving games.

Y/N: I love killing the guards in this game

He went around and played for a good amount of time until he heard a knock on his door, he paused his game and went to open it.

Y/N: coming

He opened the door to see Alexa.

Y/N: hey babe

Alexa: hi!

Y/N: please come in

Alexa: thank you

The Goddess went to sit down on the couch.

Alexa: I see that you're playing

Y/N: yeah, I'm just going around killing people because I finished the story, so there's nothing to do

Alexa: ah, I see

Y/N: well since you're here, I'll just turn this off now

He turned off his game console to give his undivided attention to the Goddess.

Y/N: I see your bag of clothes, looks you're spending the night with me

Alexa: I love when we do sleepovers

Y/N: so how was your outing with the girls?

Alexa: it was good; we went to the mall and bought some stuff like clothes; how about you, how was your work?

Y/N: Joy wasn't at work today because she had a day off today, so I was all focused on my work

Alexa: oh that's nice, no Joy

Then Y/N's attention shifted to the small bag that Alexa was holding.

Y/N: what's with the small bag you're holding?

A happy tear began to fell from Alexa's face.

Alexa: when I was at the mall, I also bought these...

Y/N wiped the tear from her eye.

Alexa: ...but they're not just regular rings like you wear for accessories

She hold up her hand so that Y/N saw she was wearing the ring with the engraving reading "his queen."

Alexa: I got you one as well

The Goddess gave Y/N the small bag. Then Y/N opened a bag to see a small note inside with the small box. As Y/N unfolded the paper, he couldn't hold back his tear as he read the note while Alexa was recording every moment with her phone.

Y/N, 

when I met you the first time and saw how pure and respectful you are, I fell for you. I made the biggest mistake when I broke up with you, and that made me sad and regret my decision of letting the only guy who cares for and respect me go, but when you gave me a second chance, you made me the happiest I've ever been. This is a promise ring to symbolize our inseparable relationship. I love you, Y/N.

He opened the box to see the promise ring with the engraving saying "her king."

Y/N: wow...

He said as he wiped his tears from his eyes. He turned to face Alexa who was recording his reaction.

Alexa: babe...

Y/N: Alexa, this is very thoughtful of you... thank you

He tried to put his words together as he tried to hold back his tears. The Goddess wiped his tears away with her hand.

Alexa: babe, you gave me your love, support and respect, so I wanted to give you something

Y/N: it's beautiful

He pulled out the ring and slipped it on his finger. Then the two hugged each other as tears fell from their eyes.

Y/N: Alexa, I promise you to be the best boyfriend and greatest person ever

He said as he stroked her cheek with his thumb which made her smile.

Alexa: and I promise to not let you go ever again

She wrapped her arms around his neck. Then they slowly brought their faces close before they passionately kissed. They pulled back and touched their foreheads together and Alexa went to kiss on his neck, but this time Y/N didn't pull away and he let the Goddess do her thing.

The two had a make out session that lasted for a couple of minutes before pulling pack. Y/N admired the ring on his finger.

Y/N: I love you, Alexa

Alexa: I love you too

Y/N: so what do you want to do now?

Alexa: let's watch a horror movie

Y/N: you sure about that? I don't get scared

Alexa: I'm scared, but I have you to comfort me

Y/N: alright, which horror movie you want?

Alexa: well my favorite is The Shining

Y/N: oh, that's one of my favorites

Alexa: let's watch together

Y/N: alright

Y/N went to his Netflix account to select the classic horror movie, The Shining. As the movie played, Alexa cuddled up next to Y/N.

Y/N: movie just started and you're scared already

Alexa: I have you to protect me

Y/N wrapped his arm around her back to comfort her. 

(Later)

The movie was at the iconic scene and Y/N was pumped and ready.

Y/N: here we go, my favorite scene

Y/N: here's Johnny!

He grabbed Alexa which made her scream and slap him playfully.

Alexa: ahh! Y/N!

Y/N laughed and hugged the Goddess.

Y/N: I'm sorry, I just love that part

Y/N kissed her head while Alexa cutely pouted and laid her head on his shoulder. The Goddess saw his free hand laying on the couch, so she grabbed his hand and placed it on her thigh while her hand was on top of it.

A few minutes later, the movie ended. Y/N saw that it was almost 10 p.m.

Y/N: let's get some sleep

Alexa: yeah, I feel sleepy too; carry me

Y/N: alright, up we go

Y/N carried Alexa bridal style to his bedroom and gently set the Goddess on the bed. He laid down next to her and pulled the covers over their bodies. Alexa adjusted her position by laying her head on his chest. She saw that Y/N was admiring his promise ring.

Y/N: I am your king

Alexa: and I am your queen

They kissed each other on the lips before they fell asleep together while they cuddled in their arms.
