Chapter 47
(Readers POV)
I walked over to my mom's room. I knocked on the door, waiting for a response. The door opened, showing my mother.
Salem: Sweetie, glad to see you came.
(Y/N): You asked me to do something for you?
Salem: Yes. I need you to find a certain someone for me.
(Y/N): Who is it?
Salem: I want you to find someone with silver eyes. I'm hoping to do some experiments. Go and get Tyrian to help you capture this person, he's very skilled at it. I'm sure you can learn something from him.
I sighed. Why does it have to be with Tyrian? I would rather take Mercury or Emerald or even my Grimm puppy as a helper, but it's what mother wants.
(Y/N): Right. I'll get this done.
Mother smiled at me and patted my head.
Salem: How sweet of you.
I walked away and went to find Tyrian. I walked into the training room and saw him slashing through several Grimm at once. I took a step forward, making Tyrian immediately turn around and put his tail near my neck.
Tyrian: Oh, you startled me! Trust me, I don't want to hurt you.
He brought his tail back and smacked it.
Tyrian: I tend to get... Hostile when I practice up on my killing techniques.
(Y/N): I don't care what you do. Listen, because I'm only saying this once.
Tyrian sat down and rested his head on his hands.
(Y/N): Mother wants us to locate someone with silver eyes.
Tyrian: Oh, that sounds like fun! I get to do a mission with my goddess's little birdie!
He stood up and acted like he couldn't contain his excitement. I genuinely can't tell if he's acting or being genuine.
Tyrian: Come on! Let's not waste any time!
He picked me up and put me on his back, giving me a piggy back ride. He dashed out of the room and ran down the hall. He ran out of the front doors, going outside. He ran up to a cliff and jumped off it. I quickly made a pair of wings, making the both of us fly.
(Y/N): You can warn me when you're about to do that.
Tyrian: In a fight, you won't always have time to warn someone. Now to think. If I was someone my goddess wants, where would I be?
Im getting weirded out by him calling my mother "goddess" and him calling me "bird".
(Y/N): Can you stop calling-
Tyrian: I know! Do you know where a lot of people are in one spot that the two of us can go to that wouldn't look suspicious?
I thought about a location that I know that matches that description. I opened my mouth to say something, but Tyrian cut me off.
Tyrian: That's right, Menagerie. Now onward! We cannot let goddess wait!
I have half a mind to drop him right now.
(Menagerie)
Me and Tyrian are walking the streets of Menagerie. We both are wearing cloaks, in case we get recognized.
Tyrian: This place is nice for hiding bodies-
I elbowed him, making him quiet down.
(Y/N): Don't say stuff like that. We don't want to raise suspicion.
Tyrian: My bad.
We looked around, trying to find someone with silver eyes. I looked out at the sunset. It's getting late. We need to hurry this up. Me and Tyrian saw a brown haired man with canine ears on his head. I noticed he has silver eyes. He walked into a house.
(Y/N): Tyrian, you saw that, right?
Tyrian: I saw it crystal clear.
The sun quickly set, letting the area be lit up by moonlight. Me and Tyrian walked up to the house.
Tyrian: We'll catch him off guard.
He knocked on the door. The man with silver eyes opened the door and looked at us.
Faunus Man: Can I help you two?
Tyrian: Pardon us sir, but the two of us are new to Menagerie and don't know our way well. Do you think we can warm up in your house for a few moments before we head out.
Faunus Man: Well... It is getting cold out... Sure, come in.
Tyrian: Thank you so much.
(Y/N): Thank you.
The man opened the door wider, letting me and Tyrian walk inside. The Faunus shut the door. Me and Tyrian walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. I saw a woman and a child walk in.
Faunus Woman: Who are you two?
Faunus Man: These two people need to warm up, so they will be here for a bit.
Faunus Woman: In that case, let me make you two boys some tea.
Tyrian: That is very kind. People like you are very hard to come by.
The Faunus man walked up to the couch and sat down next to me.
Faunus Man: Where are you two heading anyway?
Tyrian: We are looking for someone.
(Y/N): Yeah... They mean a lot to us.
I saw the Faunus child walk up to us.
Faunus Child: Are they important?
Tyrian: Yes they are, little one. See, once we find them, we will be one step closer to our goal.
Faunus Man: Goal? What does that mean?
(Y/N): That's just his way of saying that we will be reunited with our friend. He's a little special in the head.
I elbowed Tyrian again.
Tyrian: You are so mean. As expected from the goddess's child.
Faunus Man: Goddess?
The woman walked in with a tea tray in her hands. She handed me and Tyrian a cup of tea. I took a sip from it and was reminded of Kali's tea.
Faunus Woman: I couldn't help but over hear, but who exactly are you looking for? If you don't mind me asking of course.
Tyrian: Let's see... They are about as tall as me, has brown hair, has canine ears, and silver eyes.
Faunus Man: That sounds like me-
Tyrian immediately jumped off the couch and tackled the man onto the ground.
Faunus Man: Get off of me!
Tyrian: Don't give me that! Our goddess needs you and I won't let her be disappointed in me!
Tyrian smashed his head on the floor, knocking him out.
Faunus Woman: What is wrong with you?!
The child clung onto his mother's leg in fear. Tyrian got up and got his arm blades ready.
Tyrian: (Y/N). Take the man outside.
I looked at the mother and child. I couldn't help but think of myself and mother.
(Y/N): Tyrian... Let's just leave them alone.
Tyrian: And let them live with the pain of losing someone they care about? That's just too cruel, don't you think?
Tyrian looked back at me with pure insanity in his eyes. I took a step back in fear. I gulped and picked the man up. I was about to walk out so I didn't have to see what Tyrian was about to do.
(Y/N): For their sake... Make it quick and painless.
Tyrian: My least favorite way to end a life... Fine, your wish is my command.
I walked outside and waited for Tyrian. After a minute of waiting, Tyrian walked out of the house, without his cloak on, and locking the door.
Tyrian: Hope someone here can wash out bloodstains. I really liked that cloak.
(Y/N): Let's just get back to mom.
(Salem's Castle)
I brought the unconscious Faunus into mother's throne room. I saw mother stand up from her throne and walked up to me and Tyrian.
Salem: So you found someone. And so quickly too. I'm really impressed with you two.
Tyrian: Anything for you, my goddess.
(Y/N): Why do you need him, mother?
Salem: You'll see.
I saw my Grimm puppy walk up to me. It rubbed its head on my leg. I bent down and petted it's head.
Salem: You may leave Tyrian.
Tyrian nodded and left the room. Salem looked at me and smiled.
Salem: Follow me.
She left the room. I quickly followed mother, with my Grimm puppy following me. We walked outside and went up to one of the black pools that the Grimm come from.
Salem: Now, drop him in.
(Y/N): Really? Are you sure-
Salem: Don't make me tell you again.
I froze for a moment. I dropped the man in the pool. Mother started to control the pool with her magic. A hand came out of the pool and grabbed my puppy, trying to drag in it. The puppy tried to escape to me. It's barks and whimpers made me feel bad for it. I wanted to save it, but mother wouldn't let me. The puppy got dragged into the pool completely. After a few moments, a tall dog like Grimm came out of the pool. It's about as tall as mother.
Salem: It worked. Now we have something at our disposal.
(Y/N): What is it?
Salem: Think of it as the family pet.
The Grimm walked up to me and rubbed its head against me. Is this the same Grimm puppy, or does it only have its memories?
Salem: Should we have a name for this special Grimm?
(Y/N): I guess we can call it Hound.
Salem: Hound? I like that. Now... Let's teach it some tricks.
