(Readers POV)

Mercury looked at me in the eyes. It's like he is still confident, even when he's cornered by me, Ozpin, and Glynda.

(Y/N): Go on. Talk. Who has the Fall Maiden power?

Mercury: Isn't it obvious? The Fall Maiden of course.

I looked at Ozpin and he gave me a nod. I kicked Mercury in the stomach. He coughed up some blood. Sucks for him that his aura hasn't recovered yet.

(Y/N): You really don't listen, do you?

Port: Sorry for the delay, but the tournament is starting back up!

Oobleck: Our match is against Pyrrha Nikos versus Penny Polendina!

Did I hear those two right? Is the intercom system messing up? I looked down at Mercury and he smiled at me, confirming my suspicions.

Mercury: Heh. Someone who controls metal versus someone who is metal. Not a good matchup.

Ozpin and Glynda looked confused.

(Y/N): Ozpin! Stop the match!

Ozpin: Why?

(Y/N): It's going to end badly if you don't!

Ozpin: (Y/N). Please calm down and explain the situation to me.

(Y/N): Penny is a robot!

Glynda: A robot? Now is not the time for jokes.

I got frustrated and ran off.

Glynda: Mister (L/N)!

(Y/N): Make sure Mercury doesn't escape! I'm going to deal with this!

I ran out and saw the raised platform. I jumped up really high and saw Penny and Pyrrha fighting. Penny pointed her blades at Pyrrha and Pyrrha looks terrified. Penny launched her blades at Pyrrha. I got in front of Pyrrha.

Pyrrha: (Y/N)?!

Oobleck: What is Mister (L/N) doing?!

Pyrrha got in front of me and used her semblance to push the blades back.

(Y/N): NO!!!

The blades went behind Penny and the strings attached to the blades pulled Penny back. The strings went through Penny, cutting her into multiple pieces and exposing her wires.

(Y/N): That's not good.

I said under my breath. I looked at everyone and their reactions weren't all that great either. I looked at Pyrrha and she looks traumatized. I saw the screens around the arena went red with a black chess piece in the middle. Was this Mercury and his friends plan? And here I thought we'd not get attacked now. I need to do something. I jumped down the arena and ran out of the colosseum. I jumped off the ledge and grew some wings. I flew around the sky and saw Grimm flying around the area.

(Y/N): Today just keeps getting better!

I saw a Grimm flying at me. I went above it and kicked it downward. I started to hear sirens go off. A ringing noise started to bounce through my head.

(Y/N): I need to do something quick or I'm going to lose my head!

Wait, that gives me an idea! I used my semblance and got rid of my ears. I can't hear the sirens anymore, or anything actually. There, now I can hear myself think. I flew down and landed on the ground. I saw Grimm flood the fairgrounds. I went over to one and punched it as hard as I could, sending it back and hitting several Grimm on the way. I felt something tap my shoulder. I turned around and saw Weiss and Blake.

Weiss:

Blake:

I only saw their mouths move. Whatever they said, it's probably just asking what's going on.

(Y/N): Go and get rid of as many Grimm as possible! We're being attacked!

Weiss:

(Y/N): Don't worry about me! Just kill Grimm! Don't just stand around!

I flew over to Beacon. I saw White Fang members. Why is the White Fang here?! Are they helping in the attack?!

(Y/N): This can't be good.

I saw some Paladin robots land from the sky. They started to shoot at the Grimm, killing them.

(Y/N): Wow. Atlas tech is more impressive than I thought.

The blue lights on the Paladins went red. They stopped firing at the Grimm and turned to look at me. One of them shot at me. I leaned back, dodging the bullet.

(Y/N): That's what I get for being hopeful.

I ran at one Paladin and jumped on it. The other Paladins fired at me. I flew upward, letting the bullets hit the Paladin I was on, destroying it.

(Y/N): That's one.

I flew down to another one. I grabbed it and tried to fly up with it. I grew two more pairs of wings. I flapped my wings hard, sending me and the Paladin up several yards into the air. I threw the Paladin at two other ones, causing a small explosion. I landed on the ground. I felt something hit me on the back, sending me forward. Not being able to hear is hard. I landed on my back and saw that a Paladin hit me.

(Y/N): I need to think. What can I do?

Let's see if this works. I stuck my fingers into the ground. I focused and felt vibrations. It feels like footsteps. I looked ahead and saw a group of students. They started to fight off the other Paladins. I saw Weiss run up to me. She smacked me in the face.

(Y/N): Ow! Only Blake is allowed to do that!

I used my semblance to give me my ears back, I noticed that the sirens stopped. I looked at Weiss and she has a shocked look on her face.

Weiss: ...What?

(Y/N): Nothing.

I looked around and I don't see Blake anywhere.

(Y/N): Where is Blake?

Weiss pointed at a somewhat broken down building.

Weiss: She's over there dealing with White Fang members!

(Y/N): I'll go back her up! Stay here to make sure no one gets killed!

Weiss: Right! Also, what was up with you earlier?

I got up and ran over to the building. I looked around and couldn't find her.

(Y/N): Blake!

I looked inside the building and saw a man with red hair, black horns on his head, and wearing a Grimm mask, about to attack Blake's

(Y/N): Hey! You leave her alone!

I jumped into the building and ran at him.

Blake: (Y/N)! Get out of here!

The man turned to look at me. He grabbed a hilt of a sword and got ready to strike. I saw his hand move slightly. I bent down as he swung his sword. The sword slice cut off all my wings.

(Y/N): AAAAAAHHHH!!!

I took a few steps back from the pain.

Adam: Stay back. This is my problem to deal with.

(Y/N): Like hell I'm going to let you do anything bad to Blake!

Adam: Then I'll just cut you down.

I can't take another hit from this guy. If he lands an attack, I'm gone. He disappeared from my line of sight. I looked around, trying to find him. How is he that fast?

Blake: Behind you!

I jumped forward. I looked back and saw the Faunus where I was.

(Y/N): Blake! You need to get out of here!

Adam: Yes Blake. Run. Run away like you always do. Abandon your friend and leave him to die.

What is he talking about? I looked back at Blake and she looks like she doesn't know what to do. It's like her brain is telling her two different things to do and she doesn't know which one to choose.

Adam: You see it, don't you? She will abandon you if it means her survival.

(Y/N): That's not true.

Adam: What?

I stood up and looked at him.

(Y/N): I don't know you or your relationship with Blake, but you don't know her. She won't ever abandon her friends!

Adam: You're the one who doesn't know her.

He pointed his sword at me.

Adam: She left me. She had "second thoughts" and abandoned her cause! She doesn't care about others or she would have stayed with the White Fang!

(Y/N): I'm tired of hearing your voice and your lies!

I jumped forward at him.

Blake: (Y/N)! Stop!

I tried to punch the Faunus, but he dodged my punch and slashed at my arm, cutting it off.

(Y/N): AAAAAAHHHH!!!

I held where my arm once was. Blood spilled out and fell onto the floor. I took a few deep breaths. This feeling... I think I'm getting light headed. Blake tried to run up to me, but the Faunus got up to her and stabbed her in the stomach.

Adam: I will cut down everything you love. Starting with him.

He pulled his sword out of Blake, causing her to scream in pain. I felt my head get filled with rage. I ignored the pain I was going through and jumped at him. I still have an arm to attack him! He jumped at me too. I tried to punch, but I didn't feel my hand hit anything. I looked behind me and the Faunus is already behind me.

(Y/N): What...?

I looked at my other arm and I don't have that hand anymore. My eyes felt heavy and they closed on their own. I can't keep going. I have to... Sleep.

(Blake's POV)

I saw (Y/N) fall over. I ran up to him and tried to shake him awake.

Blake: (Y/N)!

I looked up at Adam. He slowly made his way to me. Tears fell down from my eyes. Why does this have to happen? I saw mist come into my field of vision. I looked down and saw (Y/N)'s body making it. It covered him and me completely. I picked up his body and started to run. I saw a red blade cut through the mist. I used my semblance to dodge it and I ran out of the building without looking back.

Blake: This all my fault.

I looked at (Y/N). He doesn't have an arm anymore because of me. If I helped him fight, he wouldn't be bleeding out right now. Why couldn't I move back there?! I saw an area with multiple bullheads. I saw students getting onto the bullheads. I felt the pain of my wounds, causing me to fall to the ground.

Yang: Blake! (Y/N)!

I grabbed onto (Y/N)'s only arm. I shed more tears as I looked at his unconscious and bloody body.

Blake: I'm sorry.

I wish he was awake to hear my words. I saw Yang run up to me.

Yang: What happened to you two!?

Ruby: Yang! Are they ok-

Ruby saw (Y/N) and she was about to cry. I saw someone pick me and (Y/N) up. We were laid onto medical beds. I just looked at (Y/N). I can't take my eyes off him. I have to make sure he's ok. Thoughts of him dying because of me filled my head, and it's sending shivers down my spine. More tears came out of my eyes. I can only hope for the best.
