(Readers POV)

It's late at night. I'm in a room filled with other students. I'm just sitting by myself. I took a deep breath and let out a long sigh.

(Y/N): If I'm going to be here, I need to make friends.

I looked around the room. I saw Ruby talking to a blonde girl. I saw that Weiss girl laying down on a sleeping bag on the other side of the room.

(Y/N): I don't think Weiss wants to make friends.

I looked around a bit more and saw the girl with a bow on her head. She's sitting against a wall and reading a book. She did help me with directions. I don't even know her name yet.

(Y/N): Guess I'll talk to her.

I walked over to her. She looked up from her book and looked at me. I waved at her.

(Y/N): Hey... It's me again.

Blake: Hey.

She looked back at her book.

(Y/N): I want to say thanks again for helping me earlier today.

Blake: You're welcome.

She said without looking away from her book.

(Y/N): My name is (Y/N) (L/N).

Blake: I'm Blake Belladonna.

Now I know her name. At least I'm making progress.

(Y/N): What are you doing?

That's such a dumb question! I can tell what she is doing, so why did I ask?!

Blake: Reading this book...

She looked up at me.

Blake: ...And I want to be alone.

She is mean. I kinda regret not talking to Weiss now. She clearly doesn't want me to be here talking to her.

(Y/N): Alright. It was nice talking to you Blake.

I walked away from her and went back to where I was sitting before.

(Y/N): Blake really likes to be alone. I guess talking to people isn't for everyone.

I looked ahead and saw Ruby and blonde girl talking to her. What the?! Why does Blake want to them and not me?! Is it because I'm a guy?

(Y/N): I have to know...

I started to use my semblance. My hearing got way better, so I can hear the conversation from here. Maybe I can get an idea of how to talk to Blake.

Ruby: Your book... Whats it about?

Blake: It's about a person with two souls, fighting for control.

Next time, I should try talking about books.

Blake: I really like this book because-

Weiss: Can you all quiet down?! People are trying to sleep!

I jumped up in surprise and covered my ears. That was really loud, I'd be surprised if my ears aren't bleeding. I stopped using my semblance and my hearing went back to normal.

(Y/N): I'm going to sleep. This isn't a good night.

I went over to a sleeping bag, that Ozpin gave me, and laid down in it. I closed my eyes and let myself fall unconscious.

(The Next Morning)

I'm standing on a cliffside with Ozpin and Glynda.

(Y/N): Aren't there supposed to be other students here?

Ozpin: I called you here early. Due to there being an extra, unexpected student here, I'm giving you a different objective.

(Y/N): Different?

Ozpin: The students will be searching for "Relics". What you'll be doing, is trying to stop them.

(Y/N): That sounds... Cruel.

Ozpin: Don't try to kill them.

(Y/N): What happens if they get these "Relics"?

Ozpin: Once they get the Relics, you have to make sure they don't get back here in fifteen minutes. Do that, and you'll be an official student at Beacon. Now, any questions?

(Y/N): Um... No, not really.

Ozpin: Good.

I heard something weird under me. The metal platform I'm standing on sprang up, launching me towards the nearby forest.

(Y/N): He could've warned me about that!

I thought about what to do. I focused to use my semblance again. Bird wings came out of my back and I started to fly.

(Y/N): You know what you could've asked (Y/N)? Ask where the Relics are!

I turned around and flew back to the cliffside. I saw some students arriving. Ozpin turned around and saw me.

Ozpin: Yes?

(Y/N): Where are the stupid Relics?

Ozpin: In a temple north of here.

I sighed and flew north as fast as I can. This is going to be fun. I looked around and saw some ruins. I flew down to it and saw chess pieces on pedestals.

(Y/N): I guess these are the Relics.

I got rid of my wings and sat down. This is going to take awhile.

(Ten Minutes Later)

I heard some bushes shaking. I looked over and saw blonde girl with Blake. They saw me and walked over.

Yang: Hey there. Are these the Relics?

(Y/N): I'm 85% sure that they are.

Yang: Alright thanks.

Her and Blake walked past me. I'm not going to stop those two now. I'm going to wait til everyone shows up.

Yang: How about a cute little pony?

Blake: Sure.

I saw a bear Grimm running this way. I stood up and got ready to fight it. It fell over and slowly started to turn into dust. An orange haired girl came from behind it.

Nora: It's broken.

A boy wearing green and had long hair slowly walked up to her.

Ren: We aren't doing that again.

The girl rushed over here and grabbed a rook piece.

Nora: I'm queen of the castle!~

Blake: Did she just came here on a Grimm?

(Y/N): I don't think the Grimm had a choice.

I heard someone screaming. It sounds like Weiss. I looked up and saw a giant bird Grimm. I looked closer and saw Ruby and Weiss riding it.

(Y/N): Whats up with people riding Grimm here?

Ruby: Jump!

I saw Ruby turn into a bunch of petals and landed on the ground in front of me.

Yang: Hey sis!

They're sisters?! Never would of guessed.

Weiss: How could you abandon me?!

Ruby: I said jump.

(Y/N): I can confirm, she did.

Ruby: You heard me?

(Y/N): I have good hearing.

I grew wings and flew up towards Weiss. I reached her and grabbed her. I kicked the bird Grimm on its wing, breaking it. That should take care of the bird. I flew down to the ground and placed Weiss on her feet.

(Y/N): Is that everyone?

I saw a blonde boy and red haired girl running away from a scorpion Grimm. I rushed over and grabbed the Grimm by its pincers. My arm's muscles got bigger and I threw the Grimm away as far as I could. I sighed and my arms went back to normal.

(Y/N): Is everyone here now?

Blake: I think so.

(Y/N): Good. Everyone, grab your Relics.

They all nodded and each chose a different chess piece.

Jaune: Are you here to make sure we get back safely? You are pretty strong.

(Y/N): Nope. I'm here to stop you.

Everyone looked in surprise.

(Y/N): At least, for fifteen minutes. Get ready everyone.
