(Readers POV)

Me and Blake just stared at each other. We don't really know what to do next.

(Y/N): I, um... Do you want to do that again?

Blake smiled and put her hand on my cheek.

Blake: Yes.

I smiled back and we shared another kiss. Blake's lips feel nice. We separated our lips and went back to dancing. Our dancing got interrupted by a bunch of laughter. Me and Blake stopped and looked back to see Jaune wearing a dress and talking to Pyrrha.

(Y/N): I have one question. Why?

Blake: I don't know, but I'm not surprised.

(Y/N): Jaune does look good in it, to be honest.

Blake: Stop it.

(Y/N): Come on, it was good joke.

Blake: You want to get something to drink?

(Y/N): Sure.

Me and Blake walked over to a table with the fruit punch bowl. I got two cups of punch and handed one to Blake.

Blake: Thank you.

(Y/N): You don't have to thank me.

I took a sip from my cup. I saw Blake drinking her punch. I tapped on her shoulder, getting her attention.

(Y/N): Watch this.

I put some punch in my mouth. I used my semblance and the punch in my mouth came out of the tip of my finger. Blake's eyes went wide.

(Y/N): Cool party trick, right?

Blake: That's gross.

(Y/N): I don't think so. Want to see some more tricks?

Blake: I don't. Maybe Ruby would like to see some.

I scanned the room and I don't see Ruby anywhere. Weird. I thought she would've been here by now. I just shrugged to myself. Ruby is fine, she's probably just running late. I turned to face Blake.

(Y/N): You want to dance some more?

Blake smiled at me and nodded.

(The Next Day) (Blake's POV)

I heard an alarm ringing. I opened my eyes and yawned. I turned off the clock and sat up. I saw a piece of paper on me. I picked it up and it's a note from (Y/N). It reads "I'm leaving this note because you fell asleep right after I escorted you to your room. Just want to say I had a great night. Love you!"

Blake: Love you too.

I smiled to myself and put the note under my pillow. I got up and saw Weiss and Yang already up.

Blake: Good morning.

Yang: I saw you and (Y/N) at the dance last night.

Blake: You did?

Weiss: Yang wouldn't shut up about it. Kept going on about how you and (Y/N) look cute together.

I felt my face heat up.

Yang: I had my suspicions about you and (Y/N) being love birds, but last night confirmed it!

Blake: We just had fun, that's all.

Yang: Yeah Blake, does kissing fall under the fun category for you?

My face heated up even more. I heard the door open. I looked over and saw Ruby walking in.

Ruby: I'm back.

Blake: From where?

Ruby: Ozpin wanted to talk about what happened last night.

Blake: What happened last night?

Weiss: Ruby encountered a bad woman last night.

Did I really miss that much last night? It was just a dance.

Yang: Well? What did you tell him?

Ruby: I told Ozpin that she said something about a base in the southeast.

Yang: Nice, we're one step closer to stopping Roman!

Ruby: Yeah...

I can tell Ruby is a bit tense. Yang noticed it too.

Yang: I'm sure everything will be alright, Ruby. Oh, I know what will cheer you up!

Yang went to her bed and grabbed a cylindrical shaped package.

Ruby: What is that?

Yang: I don't know? Dad sent it to us. I thought we could open it together!

Ruby: Something from home!

Yang opened one end of the cylinder package. She shook it and a black and hair cylinder came out. It started to shake and it jumped up, turning into a small dog.

Ruby: Zwei!

Blake: Your dad sent a dog?

Weiss: Through the mail?

Yang: He does stuff like this all the time.

I jumped up onto Ruby's bed, trying to get as much distance from the dog as possible.

Blake: Your father or the dog?

Weiss: Are you telling me that this mangy, drooling mutt is going to live with us forever?

Weiss bent down and petted Zwei.

Weiss: Oh, yes he is, yes he is! Oh, isn't he adorable!

Blake: Keep it away from my belongings.

Yang shook the bag a bit more and a bunch of cans of dog food came out, plus a can opener. I heard the intercom system turn on.

Glynda: Would all first-year students please report to the amphitheater?

Yang: Come on girls, Zwei will be here when we get back!

Weiss: I'll miss you so much, we're going to be best friends, I can't wait to see you.

How can Weiss like that dog so much? I quickly jumped off the bed and out of the room with Yang and Weiss.

(Readers POV)

I got a call on my scroll. It was Ozpin. I answered the call.

(Y/N): Hello?

Ozpin: Hello (Y/N). I hope your night was great.

(Y/N): It was.

Ozpin: That's good to hear. I have something very important to tell you.

(Y/N): How important is it?

Ozpin: Very. I want you to had to my office. And make sure you're not followed.

(Y/N): Right. Talk to you soon.

I hung up the call and left my room. I made my way to Ozpin's office, making sure I wasn't followed. I made it to the elevator and it opened. I walked inside and pushed the button to Ozpin's office. The elevator went up and I waited. After some waiting, the elevator door opened and I walked into the office. I saw Ozpin sitting at his desk.

Ozpin: Hello (Y/N).

(Y/N): Hey. So what is this really important thing you wanted to talk about?

Ozpin: It's about "Her".

(Y/N): Who's her?

I walked up to his desk.

Ozpin: Her name is Salem.

(Y/N): Salem?

Ozpin: Yes. You may not believe me, but you can say she is the master of the Grimm.

The Grimm have a master?!

(Y/N): That's not right. The Grimm only want destruction, right?

Ozpin: They do, but Salem is guiding that want. She also wants the destruction. She will do anything to achieve that goal.

(Y/N): Ok, but why? Why does Salem want that?

Ozpin: ...She... Had some important people in her life striped away from her and she didn't like that. Salem wants revenge and she will take that out on everyone.

(Y/N): Wait... How do you know about this?

Ozpin took a sip from his mug.

Ozpin: I've fought her once before and I almost died.

It's quite shocking to hear that. After training with Ozpin, I learned that he's pretty strong. To hear that this Salem woman almost killed him put my body in a state of shock. I couldn't move it, no matter how hard I tried.

(Y/N): Wow... I never thought...

Ozpin: It's hard to hear, I know. But you need to know about this.

(Y/N): But why me?

Ozpin looked me dead in the eyes.

Ozpin: Because Salem is the reason your family went missing.

My body froze.

(Y/N): W-What?

Ozpin: We need to stop her. She has caused millions to go through the pain you are feeling right now. I must ask you...

He took another sip from his coffee and looked at me.

Ozpin: Are you sure you want to do this? If you say yes, there is no going back.

I thought about it. Salem. She definitely sounds like a force to be reckoned with, but she is the reason I'm not with my family now, then I'll stop her no matter what!

(Y/N): ...I've made up my mind. I'll do it! I'll fight against Salem!
