chapter 3 : Draco

"You're back," mum said to me as I entered the kitchen.

When I came in the back way, I was hoping not to run into anyone, but that was my mother for you. She always found you when you didn't want to be found. It's not like I really paid attention anyway. I only had one thing on my mind.

Hanna Honeyyeager.

The surname didn't sound like a wizarding family, but not all wizards had particular last names. Hopefully, she was a witch and not a muggle. That wouldn't far well for me at all. I've always been taught that wizards and muggles should not mix, and I for one am a firm believer in it. Why mix? You just end up with dirty blood.

Those beautiful blue eyes that kept swimming in and out of my mind gave me hope that she was not a muggle. I mean, she seemed different from any girl that I've ever met. Most girls threw themselves at me because, there's no denying it, I'm pretty good looking. She just laughed. Laughed! Like she thought it was funny that she and I just happened to be next to each other. She must not have many gorgeous men sit next to her then.

"Where have you been, Draco?" my mother asked me, looking up from her cup of coffe.

I shrugged. "That's my business."

"Your father has been looking for you."

Shit. Just by hearing that statement, I knew I was in deep shit. I was definately in big trouble. Anytime I disobeyed my father, I knew what it meant. I looked to her and she pointed up, which meant that he was in his study. Maybe I shouldn't have ran off. I should've just stayed in the house where he could get to me.

But then I would not have met her.

"Come in," my father's voice sounded after I knocked on the door.

I opened the door to find my father talking with one of the other deatheaters. He did not smile when I entered the room. A sure fire sign that he is definately angry with me. I rubbed my wrist remembering the last time he was angry with me. Hopefully that wouldn't happen in this case. There was a witness standing right there. Although, I bet he wouldn't even stop it.

"Draco, where have you been?" my father asked.

"I went for a walk to clear my head. Did you need something?" I asked, acting all innocent.

And by the look on his face, mum hadn't told him why I had left in the first place. Sometimes she could be a good mother. Only sometimes though.

"Yes, this is Fenir Greyback," he said, motioning to the man he had been conversing with, "He is going to escort you and your mother to Borgin and Burke's. There is a vanishing cabniet there that has a twin in Hogwarts. You are to inspect it thourghly. Apperently, the twin is broken in some way. It's your job to figure out how to fix it properly. We will need it to take over Hogwarts and flee with you of course once you've done your deed."

I just nodded. There was nothing to be said.

"Then, go now while you still can. School starts up again tomorrow."

With that said, my mother, Greyback, and I left the mansion and headed for Knockturn Alley. Afterwards, we were planing on buying my school stuff. We had put it off for the Dark Lord. When we got to Borgin and Burke's, Borgin was the one sitting behind the counter and knew what we came for. He showed us a rather tall, black, wooden cabniet. I looked at it. I had never seen a cabniet like this before at Hogwarts. Greyback was getting impatient so he shoved me. I threw him a glare before checking over it properly. Everything seemed to be in tip top shape with that one. Borgin then graced me with an instruction manual that said in detail how they worked. Hopefully, it would help.

"You can come down now," my mother called to Greyback, who had wonder up to the top floor and was standing in front of a window. Did he think that someone would climb up there just to peek at me looking at a ruddy cabniet? He must've been going off his rocker.

He escorted us to Diagon Alley and left. It was about time. I didn't really like Greyback and never grew to like him. So, with his nosey arse out of our way, we went to the robes shop. Mine were begining to get too short. Another growth spurt through the summer. When we arrived in the store, there was someone already being fitted so we had to wait our turn.

"Now, Mr. Malfoy, are you ready?" asked the shop keeper and I nodded.

The door to the dressing room then opened and out came Hanna. The girl from the cafe. I instantly smiled at her and she did the same.

"I was hoping to see you again," I said.

She nodded. "I knew I would see you again."

"Pardon?" I asked but she was already walking pass me and through the door with her purchases.

The shop keeper then pushed me into the dressing room with a grin on her face. "Love is in the air, is it?"

I shrugged. "I couldn't tell you."

But deep down, I hoped that it was.
