"Ungh" Freezing Rain looked around. She and her friends had curled up in a ball, then fell asleep. She stretched. Shaking off the drowsiness she walked into the middle of the clearing, stood their crouching over something for awhile then took off.

Blowing Wind opened his eyes. Looking around he found Minnow, but no Freezing Rain. His heart jumped into his throat. He sniffed around, thinking she woke up earlier than he did, and went to do her business. He followed her scent to a message. It said "Went to look for some food. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine.-Freezing Rain" Blowing Wind sighed. At least I know where she went.

He padded over to Minnow and laid down. "Hrmph?" Blowing Wind looked at Minnow. He saw that her eyes were open. "Well good morning my little fish." He said passionately. He knew that this was only her second day away from her owner. Most pups that lived with no-furs ran back to them after seeing the danger that laid outside their home.

Minnow stretched and groaned. "Ah! Uh! Great now I'm sore!" Blowing Wind chuckled. "Yeah, you get used to being sore after awhile. Every day you feel even sorer than the day before." He padded over to her and started to give her a massage. Minnow probably had a nightmare last night. He looked up to the sky. It was half-sun. Gods! We slept for a long time!

"I'm a gonna get something."

Blowing Wind cocked his head. Creasing his eyebrows he tried to figure what Minnow would even need to get in the middle of a forest.

"Ok."

Padding into the forest, Minnow started to look for sticks and something sticky to make a training dummy. Now, what's sticky? Oh! I know! Tree sap! After realizing this she started to look for more long but thin sticks. With a bundle in her mouth, she walked back to the clearing.

"Why do you need sticks?"

"I just realized I have no idea how to properly fight. I'm making a dummy to help me train. With your help of course."

Blowing Wind nodded. It made sense. After running away during the fight with Marcellus, he saw that she really needed to learn."Hey, I'll need help getting it set up and tree saped together."

"Ok. What do you need me to do?"

"Set up the head with those sticks. I'll be back

with my paws covered with tree sap."

"Well don't get too far. You'll get all sorts of junk stuck to your paws."

Minnow nodded and went to a nearby tree. This is a good sized tree. With that thought she started scratching the tree, hoping to draw out some sap.

While Minnow was doing that Blowing Wind started to try and make the sticks in a circle. He knew he couldn't make an entire head without the tree sap.

"YUCK! THIS IS DISGUSTING!"

He started to chuckle. Well, she got it. As she padded over with a disgusted look on her face, he coughed up his laughter. Minnow rubbed her paws all over the circle.

Minnow meandered towards the tree with obvious reluctance. Now, this is where Blowing Wind got stuck but he decided to make another circle. Connecting the circles would be a two wolf thing.

Wings flapped above. Freezing Rain was back. Blowing Wind just realized that he was starving. He ran over to her.

"Food!"

Minnow looked over to see Freezing Rain drop three full grown elk. She licked her chops. Her stomach growled at her.

"Minnow come here. Let's go clean your paws."

Minnow padded over to Freezing Rain's back. Jumping she hooked her claws into Freezing Rain's back. With that, she took off. Eyes scouring the ground for a river or lake. With every second she felt tree sap get deeper and deeper into her bloodstream. Feeling like she was going to barf, she landed.

"Get off my back, Minnow"

"Why?"

"Too much tree sap in my blood. I'm gonna vomit if any more gets in."

"Tree sap can get into your body through a wound?"

"I dunno! It just feels like it."

Minnow looked concerned and jumped off.

"Now how will we travel?"

"I'm gonna grab your scruff."

With that Minnow felt her scruff being pulled and went limp. She tried her hardest not to talk or move. Knowing that if she did Freezing Rain could possibly drop her.

After a few more minutes she found a lake and started to squirm. Freezing Rain took this as Minnow found a lake. She dove down to take a look.

The lake didn't seem suspicious. Perfect place to wash. Freezing Rain got so excited that she altered her direction dove into the lake. Minnow's eyes went wide.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

Then they plunged into the water. It was icy cold but felt good to Freezing Rain who hadn't gotten clean in years. Moving around too much lead to this. Her fur felt greasy and stuck up in weird angles. She direly needs this bath.

Minnow swam towards the surface. Sputtering and coughing she tried to calm down her heart that was beating at one hundred miles an hour. Then Freezing Rain surfaced. Minnow tried to give Freezing Rain her best 'I hate you' look.

"What?"

"Why did you dive in? I barely had time to take a breath."

"Oh. I'm sorry. I was just so excited to get clean. It feels so good to get wet. I've never had the time to get clean."

Minnow's glare soften. She forgot that Freezing Rain never had the pampering she had. She was a wild animal that probably never got forced to get clean. She realized right then and there that being a no-furs pet was a good life. Even if she didn't think so. Being forced to take a bath made her cleaner and prettier. I bet she's super pretty when she's all clean.

Freezing Rain climbed out of the lake and shook hard. That felt so good! I should tell Blowing Wind about the lake. He'll be so happy!

"Hey, I'm gonna fly around to get dry faster. Don't worry when I'm dry I'll pick you up."

Minnow looked concerned. She thought that Freezing Rain would forget her. After she said that Minnow decided to go for a run. For the exact same reasons. She also knew that she had anger and fear running through her veins.

Running would get it out of her body. Minnow didn't want to get angrier and hurt Freezing Rain. She knew that if she seriously hurt her, she would be left alone in the forest. That just made her run faster. The wind screamed in her ears.

After a while, she felt like she was flying. Looking up she saw that Freezing Rain swooped over a picked her up. Not being able to help herself, she stuck out her tongue, letting it be pushed by the wind. Freezing Rain looked down. Seeing what Minnow was doing, she couldn't help herself.

"What?"

"I'm sorry, but that is so adorable. You like having the breeze on your tongue?"

"So? You should try it sometime."

Blowing Wind looked up to see Freezing Rain and Minnow return.

"Oh, my gods! I found the perfect spot to live permanently!"

Blowing Wind guffawed. He didn't think she'd be this happy about getting clean. Taking a good look at the wolf that returned he took a double take. She was gorgeous! Fur a brilliant rain blue surrounded by snow white with violet trimming her wings and paws. Black and ice blue rings ran down her tail.

He just couldn't help himself. "Woah"

She blinked. Unaware that she was actually the most beautiful wolf in the world. At least to Blowing Wind and Minnow, who never saw any other wolves in their lifetime.

"What?"

"Y-y-you're gorgeous!"

She tilted her head. "I am?"

"Have you ever seen yourself? There are no words to explain the beauty that I'm seeing."

"Don't flatter me. I'm not that pretty."

Blowing Wind calmly walked over.

"Yes, you are. To me at least"

With that, he covered his lips with hers. Freezing Rain's eyes widened. Eventually, she recognized that she felt the same way as Blowing Wind and accepted the kiss. Trying to go deeper.

Minnow just gaped at them. She never saw true romance. Well, romance of any kind. Blowing Wind broke from their kiss.

"Oh my..." Freezing Rain blinked. "I never thought you felt like that."

"When I first laid my eyes on you it was like love at first sight. I couldn't help myself. I've been waiting for the moment to share this love with you."

Freezing Rain's heart jumped into her throat. She didn't know that she even fell in love with him. It was the same for her. The shy wolf that she saw for the first time had transformed into this strong, confident wolf that isn't afraid to stake his territory.

That night Freezing Rain dreamt of having pups of her own to look after. Pups of a brilliant blue and brown. Gorgeous pups that took after their parents. And of course having wings.

"Hmmm"

Blowing Wind looked over to see Freezing Rain sleeping peacefully. He couldn't help himself. He leaned over a planted a kiss on her cheek. Snuggling he scooted closer.

Freezing Rain woke up. She couldn't believe that this handsome wolf and kissed her! She didn't even plan on it getting that far. Well, no time to think about tomorrow. They had to get up and move to their new home by the lake.

At least then they would be able to bathe as they wished. Oh! They could play too! Don't forget to play. You're never too old to play in the water.

She shook Blowing Wind. "Hey, it's time to get up."

"Hmm! Leave me alone."

"Don't make me make you get up."

"I don't think you will."

"Try me."

"Ok."

Freezing Rain jumped on Blowing Wind and attacked him with sheathed claws. Blowing Winds eyes opened all the way as Freezing Rain attacked him. He didn't think she'd actually do it. Grinning he grabbed her and pinned her to the ground.

"Wanna try again?"

"Yeah"

Freezing Rain started to attack his belly. Shaking his head, Blowing Wind started to attack her belly. Then switched from attacking to tickling. Freezing Rain stopped attacking Blowing Wind and went to defend her belly from the relentless tickling.

"Hey! That wasn't a part of the rules!"

"What rules? You didn't tell me any rules."

Freezing Rain tried to bat his paws away. She failed miserably. What should I do? Hmmm. Hmmm. Oh! I can slowly slide out! Slowly she wiggled out. Eventually, Blowing Wind was tickling air.

He looked around just to feel a heavy weight on his back.

"Do you concede?"

"Only for a kiss."

"Ain't gonna happen."

"Then no."

Freezing Rain sat down. Then laid her head in between his ears. Blowing Wind looked up.

"What's up?"

"The sky."

"You know what I mean."

"It's just that I fear for Minnow's no-furs."

"Why?"

"Because. What if they find us? Either we'll have to kill them alone, or we'll have to kill them and Minnow."

Blowing Wind whined. He knew this too. Minnow's no-furs could probably find their scent. He and Freezing Rain really upset them. The no-furs with the killing claws were relentless. They never gave up.

It's good that they were moving. At least it gave them time to get used to having Minnow.

"Hey. What about Vladimir? Are we going to find who he was working for?"

He felt a growl on his neck. Blowing Wind mentally cursed himself. Bad thing to bring up.

"That cowardly cameo stripe! He deserved to die! As well as his master!"

Blowing Wind rolled over onto his back. Then wiggled out, knowing that they had to be face to face.

"What are we going to do? We have no idea where his master even is!"

"I'll figure something out."

With that, she left to wake Minnow. Blowing Wind looked at Freezing Rain waking up Minnow. Probably a little harsher than was needed. He crouched down. Instantly afraid of the beast that took over his mate's body. Walking over with his tail tucked between his legs, he thought maybe love would cure it.

Making their eyes meet, he went in to rub his cheek against her. Freezing Rain jumped back in anger, hackles raised.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

"You seem upset. I thought a kiss would make you feel better."

"Well, it won't so leave me alone!"

She took flight. Blowing Wind whimpered. He had no idea what took over Freezing Rain's body, but it wasn't anything good.

Freezing Rain flew as fast and as far away as she could. This anger that took over scared her. She wasn't used to this feeling. At least it wasn't natural. W-w-What is this feeling?

She couldn't place it. She remembered having it after she got kicked out of her pack. Aha! It's revenge! She grinned wickedly. This time she would get her revenge! If he was from her pack, then they will suffer! Just like they made her suffer!

She turned around a flew back to Blowing Wind and Minnow.

Blowing Wind started to pace. He was extremely worried about Freezing Rain. Yes, they only knew each other for a few years, but he learned a lot about her. What just happened wasn't normal Freezing Rain behavior to him. She wasn't that mean! Nice and friendly to harsh and cruel in less than second. So not Freezing Rain.

He wanted friendly Freezing Rain back. He shouldn't have brought up the tiger. He knew that she hated that tiger. Like one hundred percent hate. He laid down, whimpering. Worst mistake of his life.
