Jay sat on the bed, brushing his fingers through Carlos' hair. Carlos clung on to Jay, sleeping, and Jay couldn't help but smile. He looked down at the blonde and couldn't help but feel happy. He loves being near Carlos, he loves he chocolate smell from him, he loves Carlos' little puppy ears. Jay leaned down and kissed Carlos' forehead.

Jay turned to face him, Carlos breathed against Jay's neck. Jay wrapped his arms around the smaller boy. He nuzzled his nose against Carlos' hair and felt his heart beat faster. Jay knows that he will always protect Carlos, ever since they became friends. Jay felt something for Carlos, something that connected them.

Jay doesn't believe in fate, he doesn't believe in destiny. Jay watched the word 'destiny' destroy his father. He watched his father become obsessed with a magic lamp because of his 'destiny'. But Jay does believes everything happens for a reason. Jay knows that fate and destiny isn't real to him but he isn't going to let that stop him loving Carlos.

Carlos groaned and opened his eyes. Jay smiled as Carlos hold him tighter. Carlos pulled his head away and looked up at Jay.

"What time is it?" Carlos asked, tired.

"Dunno, but it's not morning. I promise you that one." Jay said.

Carlos look around, wanting to find a clock. Jay played with Carlos' hair and hummed a song. Carlos sighed, giving up and laid his head back down. Jay laughed, making Carlos punched him on the chest. Jay just smiled.

"Why are you up? Shouldn't you be sleeping?" Carlos asked.

"I can't sleep." Jay said.

"How come?"

"Dunno. I guess, I'm to happy to sleep."

"Jay, you need to sleep. I wanna go out and show you off tomorrow. And I don't wanna do it when you're sleepy."

Jay felt his face go red. Carlos wanted to show him off. He wanted to go out tomorrow and show him, Jay, off. Jay couldn't help but felt honored that Carlos even wanted him.

Jay sighed and grabbed Carlos, he tugged him to lay on top. Carlos smiled and tapped on Jay's chest. Jay put his arms around Carlos' waist, smiling at him.

"You're warm." Carlos said as he put his head ontop of Jay's chest.

"And you're cold." Jay joked.

"I love you, Jay."

"I love you too, Carlos."

Jay tugged his jacket on, listening to Carlos singing. He turned around and smiled. Jay asked Carlos to wear his shirt, to show off that Carlos is his. Jay smiled and pulled on his boots. Carlos walked over and touched Jay's ponytail.

"So, I was thinking the candy shop and candy shop." Carlos said.

Jay laughed, "Only the candy shop? I think not. We should go to Tiana's Place, I heard they serve the best indian bread."

"You and that indian bread. Sometimes I think you care about that more than me." Carlos said.

"Oh Car, there's nothing more than my love for you." Jay said.

Carlos smiled and grabbed his hand, he tugged Jay out of the dorm. Jay followed him and they walked out of the school, hand and hand. As they walked to town, they talked about future ideas or what they want to after school. Everywhere they walked, people stared or talked when they walk by. At first Jay wanted to turn back but Carlos' laugh, his smile, his warm hand made Jay keep walking. Carlos is the reason why Jay showed their relationship off. He wants the world to know that Carlos is his and no one elses.

They reached Peter's Candy World and Jay checked for his wallet. Knowing Carlos that would buy half the store. Carlos tugged Jay inside and waved at Peter Pan and Wendy's daughter, Lily, then running towards the chocolate. Jay laughed and Carlos started to pull candy off the shelf and put them in Jay's arms.

"Carlos you're going lose your teeth." Jay laughed.

"No I won't! I brush regularly." Carlos said.

"Oh yeah, like that's going to help."

"It will. Also can you reach those whoppers on top shelf, pretty please."

"Stop with the puppy dog eyes. I'll get it."

Carlos smiled as Jay grabbed the candy box. They walked to the front counter and Lily smiled at them. She pulled out a large bag and started to scan the candy.

"What happen to your last stash, Carlos?" Lily asked.

"You know, stress eating." Carlos said.

"I see you finally got the spicy chocolate." Lily said as she nodded towards Jay.

"Spicy chocolate?" Jay asked.

"Lily likes to refer people to candy. I'm a chocolate marshmallow." Carlos said.

"Also, Carlos talked about you a lot. Almost made eat all the lolly pop section." Lily said.

Jay smirked and laid down the money, he wrapped his arm around Carlos. Carlos look at Jay and smiled. He leaned against Jay and grabbed the bag of candy. They waved at Lily and left the candy shop. Jay lead Carlos to the park, to talk and eat the candy. They walked towards a bench and sat across from each other.

"You've talked about me?" Jay asked.

Carlos' ears turned red, "What? No, Lily was hyped on Pixie Dust."

"Oh Car, I feel honored that you talked about me."

"Do you think we could have, uh, like pet names for each other?"

"Was that a pun?"

"Maybe, I couldn't help it. Anways, I just wanna know."

"Why do you want one?" Jay asked, he grabbed one of yhe sweets.

Carlos shrugged, "I dunno. I just want something that only we can call each other."

"Aren't I the only one who calls you Car?" Jay asked.

"Not really." Carlos said. His thoughts went to Doug.

"Well," Jay said. "What about Sweetie or Sugar."

"Why those?" Carlos asked.

Jay smiled and grabbed Carlos' waist to pull him close. Carlos gasped but put his hands over Jay's. Jay kissed Carlos cheek and laid his chin on the smaller boys shoulder.

"'Cause you're completely full of sugar." Jay said.

Carlos giggled.

Jay kissed Carlos' neck, "Or would you like Honey, Sweetie Pie, Sweetheart or Angel."

Carlos held onto Jay's hands, loving Jay kissing his neck. Every nickname Jay listed he kissed Carlos' neck or cheek. Carlos giggled and let go of Jay's hands. He turned around to face Jay. Carlos cupped Jay's face and gave him a smile.

"I could just call you Gorgeous. 'Cause you're the beautiful person in the entire world." Jay whispered.

"Can I call you Honey?" Carlos asked.

"Sure. I mean it's up to you." Jay replied with a smile.

Carlos smiled back and kissed Jay. Jay kissed back and tasted the chocolate on his lips. Carlos pulled away with a wide grin. Jay tangled his fingers in Carlos hair.

"Let's go to Tiana's, alright Gorgeous." Jay said.

Carlos ears redden, "I'm ordering dessert first."

"I'm fine with that. Just as long I'm with you." Jay said, happily.

Jay kissed one more time. Then the couple headed off to the restaurant.
