"I thought you would've known by now?" Lucas said after a while as they were all sitting around the old apartment. Not surprised Hendery is feeding himself with some animal blood.

Jeno looks up at him, sitting on Jaemin's lap– to which the vampire boy had his arms around his waist protectively and had pulled him down to sit there.

Nodding, Yangyang sips on his own plastic bag of blood. "Yeah, I thought you would've found these two suspicious from the start, especially Lucas since he's more social than Jaemin."

"You're saying that as a good thing, right?" The only werewolf amongst them perks up but frowns when he receives a flat look in return.

"No, not really... I guess I was focused on something else..." Jeno mumbles at the end shyly, looking over his shoulder to face his vampire boyfriend who smirks at him.

Seeing the teasing smirk– to which he found it really attractive and hot but don't tell Jaemin that, he instantly looks back to Jaemin's friends with his cheeks flushed.

Chuckling, Yangyang lifts both of his eyebrows as he shakes his head finding it quite amusing. "Congratulations about that by the way."

"I still can't believe Jaemin would hide this thing from us." Hendery comments afterwards.

Rolling his eyes, Jaemin doesn't say anything as a reply and instead watches Yangyang smack Hendery on the arm. "We've been through this already, just leave them be for now." He said.

It took only a few minutes of Jaemin's side of the story, since, he had put it briefly.

"Went to the party, got jealous, punched the guy, Jeno got upset and brought me home, was trying to deflect, got frustrated, kissed him, teased him more, kissed him again, became boyfriends, and went to sleep."

Was his all he had to say while Jeno giggles at him. "You have to tell them the full story, Jaemin hyung." He said softly.

Shrugging, Jaemin waves it off. "They'll figure it out." Nonchalantly saying.

And it took a few more minutes for the others to shut up and move on to Lucas' topic since Jaemin wouldn't say anything else more than what he had already said.

"What about that time when I got 'sick'? Didn't you have any suspicions of that?" Lucas brings up the said event as Jeno ponders in thought, still flushed in red.

Shaking his head, the human boy knits his eyebrows. "But you were just sick...." He trails off genuinely dumbfounded.

By his words, Lucas started cackling a little before saying. "I wasn't actually sick, per se."

Seeing the remaining confusion on Jeno's face, Lucas cackles even more while Hendery joins him, choking on the blood he was drinking as Yangyang rolls his eyes at them.

"Jaemin, explain to your human boyfriend what this dumbass is talking about." He said with a sigh.

Snorting, Jaemin taps Jeno's side, gaining the younger boy's attention and whispers in to his ear.

"He was in rut."

Processing his words for a moment since Jaemin is at it again with his brief explanations, Jeno widens his eyes when he gets what his boyfriend meant and his whole face was heating up.

"Oh." Was the only thing he could mumble out and looks back to the front but avoids eye contact with Lucas who was snickering.

Turns out, Lucas wasn't sick and faked that whole thing as an excuse to cover up for his rut days. Besides, none in their friend group at that time knew about supernatural creatures yet.

And now here's Jeno Lee. Who has a vampire boyfriend, a witch grandma, a talking familiar pet cat, said boyfriend has other vampire and werewolf friends.

"I-Is that why..."

"You guys couldn't contact me? Yeah, I had to fake a lot of shit so our friends– especially Mark would leave me alone while I'm in sexual pain." Lucas finishes for him.

"Ugh, I told you to stop calling it like that." Yangyang muttered in disgust from across the room.

The alpha-beta werewolf boy shrugs at him, "well, it's kinda true though. Do you know how difficult it is to go through those moments?"

"Yeah I would, because you called me to get you suppressants, you idiot." The vampire boy hisses. "Had to see you looking like a rat–"

"HEY!"

Jeno stops listening on to their bantering, deciding to have his own world and turns to his boyfriend instead who looked really bored, not to mention looking really tired.

"Jaemin hyung?" He calls, earning a soft hum in return along with those intimidating eyes. He swore those pair of eyes had a glint of something but shrugs it off instead.

"Do you want to go now? We can go if you want, I have to go buy some noodles at the small store anyway since I'm too tired to cook tonight." He said, more concerned about his boyfriend.

Smiling, Jaemin nuzzles his nose against Jeno's cheek before placing a soft kiss on his soft milky white skin. "We can, if that's also what you want." He replies.

His reply resulted Jeno to whine at him, "but hyung~ I'm asking you!"

"And I'm asking you."

"Hyung~" pouting, Jeno crosses his arms and doesn't notice the sound of Lucas and Yangyang's loud yelling suddenly disappeared.

Jaemin glances at his friends who were watching them closely.

Yangyang and Hendery looking shocked– since they're still processing the fact that "cold–hearted vampire boy Na Jaemin" earned himself a cute boyfriend, who's a human by the way.

Meanwhile, Lucas was grinning at them teasingly. Jaemin swore his pheromones gave it away as the taller boy lets out a snort, resulting Jaemin to look back at his pouting boyfriend.

Having the elder boy's attention again, Jeno sighs in defeat and grumbles. "Whatever, I asked first anyway." Sulking and not bothering to move as a sign of leaving.

Sensing the younger boy's sulking behavior because he was being serious towards him yet Jaemin decided to tease him back instead, the vampire boy couldn't help but chuckle.

He gets ready to position his boyfriend properly before standing up and lifts Jeno's body up with him, the human boy squeaking in return and clings onto him tightly.

"Hyung!" The younger boy said, flustered as Jaemin gently puts him back down on the ground.

"Anyways, we'll be leaving now, see you guys tomorrow." He deflects, looking up at his friends who laughed at the scene.

Blushing in embarrassment, Jeno holds Jaemin's hand tightly and tugs him along to head out. However, they stop at the doorway when Lucas asked.

"You're not going to tell the others about me, right?"

Jeno turns to him and smiles reassuringly, making Lucas a little confused. "I won't, I haven't told them about Jaemin hyung, why would I tell them about you without permission?"

"Bitch, get me a mate like Jeno." Lucas said, aiming at Jaemin who rolls his eyes.

Waving their farewell, Jaemin squeezes Jeno's hand in instinct when he watches his boyfriend skip happily as they walked.

"My dear soulmate, day one as boyfriends: success!"

"Pup, I think there's a few more shit you need to know."

I think there's definitely a few more shit we have to go through before this story ends :)

I don't know how long it'll be, and I honestly didn't think this would end up this long but whatever.

I do sometimes overthink that I should just keep it short or end it soon, but then again, there's some scenarios in my mind.

It's a Slow-burn after all.

And their story is just beginning.

So I hope you moonbubbas can support me through this since I didn't notice the chapters we've went through lmao.
