Third Person POV

Opening his eyes, Dipper realized he was still inside the forest. The sun had set leaving him in darkness.

"Oh god what happened to me?" He asked himself, as he rubbed his throbbing head.

As if to answer the trees creaked in the wind. Dipper quickly retreated to the shack after hearing the eerie sound. Even from outside the shack he could hear Mabel and her friends singing and laughing. If only it was so easy for Dipper to make friends here.

"Hey Dipper," a voice spoke from behind him.

"Oh hey Pacifica."

The blonde female walked towards Dipper smiling softly. She flipped her hair almost as if hoping to impress him. His cheeks held a pink tint, but it quickly disappeared as Pacifica walked up to the door.

"Please tell me you're not joining the sleepover!" Dipper groaned.

"Well I am. Mabel invited me. Um.. sorry Dipper."

Dipper looked slightly taken aback. Maybe Pacifica had changed? He hadn't ever heard her say thank you. Not to him, not to anyone else.

Now even Pacifica was laughing with Mabel, Candy and Grenda, and Dipper hadn't felt so alone in a long time.

Shaking off his thoughts he walked to the overflowing mailbox. Letters were practically falling out.

"Junk. Trash. Ew... Gideon. Definitely trash. Another Gideon. Another Gideon. An- Grunkle Ford!"

Dipper tore open the letter excitedly, nearly ripping its contents apart as well.

"Dear Dipped and Mabel," he read aloud," Stan and I will be returning in two weeks. We just finished another monster hunt! I've even started writing a fourth journal! Though this one isn't just about the secrets of Gravity Falls. I look forward to seeing you both. Love, Grunkle Ford."

"YES!" Dipper screamed jumping excitedly.

Looking at the date on the envelope it read: July 21.

"Wait that was six days ago! That means they are coming back even sooner!"

He quickly ran inside to tell Soos and Mabel. Soos was nowhere to be found, so he ran to the attic. Bursting into the attic he saw the girls were giving each other makeovers.

"Mabel guess what?!"

"Cats have learned to fly!" Mabel yelled.

"No," Dipper chuckled, "Grunkle Stan and Grunkle Ford are coming back in about a week!"

"Really?!" Mabel asked bouncing from her bed.

Dipper nodded, and made his leave, but he was tugged back by both Mabel and Grenda.

"Makeover time!!" They yelled.

"Mabel no! Don't you dare!"

They tackled Dipper to the ground and bound him to a chair with duck tape.

"What!? Where did you get all this duck tape??"

"I have my ways," Mabel said grinning deviously.

"Guys maybe we shouldn't put makeup on Dipper's face." Pacifica said quietly.

"Pacifica are you with us or are you gonna be a loner?"

Pacifica sighed, "I'm with you."

"No no no! Mabel!"

"Come on Dipper it won't take longer than an hour."

"An hour?!" He screamed shaking the chair.

"There all finished!"

Mabel held up a mirror to Dipper's face. He was covered in mascara, blush, eyeliner, lipstick and foundation. Dipper stared into the mirror like he'd seen a ghost.

"M-my eye," he muttered, continuing to stare.

"What?" Mabel questioned.

Dipper was looking right at himself in the mirror, at least that's what the girls saw, but to Dipper something was wrong. His one eye looked like that of a cats.

Releasing himself from his trance he blinked rapidly, returning his eye to normal.

"You okay there bro bro?" Mabel asked breaking the awkward silence.

"I-I'm fine. Will you just untie me?"

Mabel did as asked. Dipper sat there quietly. Even as she ripped the duck tape from his skin he only slightly flinched.

Mabel watched as Dipper left the attic. She half expected him to try and take the makeup off, or to at least scold her, but he only left silently.

Not bothering to follow her brother she returned to her friends.

"Come on girls let's get this party started!"

"We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when..."

"Oh, I know we'll meet again, some sunny day~"

Dipper jerked up from the couch. His palms were covered in sweat, and he was shaking uncontrollably.

"I haven't had a nightmare in a while," Dipper whispered into the darkness of the TV room.

Standing up, he made his way towards the kitchen for a glass of water. Even though the moon provided him with a good amount of light, he still managed to trip over the uneven floorboards on his way there.

Taking a glass from the cabinet, he filled it with water. Dipper drank it quickly, hoping to quench his thirst and ease his paranoia. Though he was no longer thirsty, he couldn't help but feel like someone was watching him.

He looked outside. No one. He even listened to see if the girls were still awake, but there were no giggles or even sounds from the attic.

Dipper looked at the face of his watch. It read 3:34. Sighing, he left the kitchen and returned to the couch.

"Where's my blanket?"

Dipper crouched on the ground, feeling the floor beneath him in attempt to find his blanket. His fingers felt something soft, and he realized it was his blanket.

As he stood up, a wave of drowsiness washed over him. Even standing upright became hard. He wobbled to the left, then to the right, before collapsing on the carpet.

Dipper swore he could hear footsteps echoing around him. And he thought he could make out a tall dark figure standing before him.

"Soos?" I questioned into the darkness.

"Nope," a voice replied.

"Grunkle Ford?"

"Wrong again... Pine Tree."

"Where had I heard that before," Dipper's thoughts reeled," Pine Tree, what does that-"

Dipper's eyes widened, and he tried to get up, but something or someone was holding him down.

"Shhh don't try to struggle. It will only hurt more."

He quivered at the touch of the familiar dream demon. As Dipper tried to move Bill tightened his grip.

"Relax kid. I'm not going to kill you, at least not yet. I think I'll have some fun with you first."

"Please just let this be a dream. Please just let it be a dream." Dipper screamed in his head.

"A dream you say? Well if you wanted to sleep so bad why didn't you just ask?"

Still holding onto Dipper, Bill released a maniacal laugh into the darkness. He chuckled, as he felt the boy shiver beneath him. Raising his foot, he jabbed it into the teens head, knocking him out cold.

"Sweet dreams Pine Tree~"

Hey everyone! I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while. I was having a little writers block, but I think it's almost passed. I should be back to updating at least once or twice a week. Hope you enjoyed the chapter!
