Rescued by a Gang
"Let her go, Victor!" the blonde said.
They are to save me... Thank GOD!
"As if, Blondie! We found her, and we were just welcomin' her." the boy holding me said.
"By hurtin' her? Some welcome wagon." the black haired boy said.
Victor let go of me and then walked up to the group of boys. As I was about to walk away, one of Victor's boys held my arms in place, preventing my escape.
"Listen, werewolves. We found this girl on OUR turf. So that makes her ours." Victor said.
"Funny, because if I'm correct, everythin' from this part of Jamaica Estates to our house is ours. So you were trespassin' on OUR turf again, weren't you?" the blonde said.
"Like the Jackrats they are." said the red head.
Victor glared at the boys and then scoffed.
"Fine, take the girl." he said.
When Victor snapped his fingers, the boy holding me released me. I immediately ran over to the boys who saved me. Victor looked at me and smiled.
"This ain't over..." Victor said.
With that, he and his boys walked off. When they were out of sight, the blonde haired boy turned to me.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"Yeah. My wrists are just sore a little." I said, rubbing them.
Where are my manners?
"Thank you for helpin' me back there. I'm forever grateful." I said.
"No need to thank us. Any girl on our turf is meant to be saved." the red head said.
"What's your name?" the black haired boy asked.
I hesitated for a bit.
"Alita..." I said.
"Nice to meet you, Alita. I'm Hiro." the blonde said.
"Cole." the black haired boy said.
"And I'm Dante." the red head said.
I smiled and bowed my head.
"What's a girl from the East doing all the way out here in Jamaica Estates?" Cole asked.
I scratched my cheek with embarrassment. I then spilled my guts about everything. When I was done, the boys looked at me with very sympathetic looks.
"We're sorry to hear that. We really are." Cole said.
"It ain't your fault. I just came out here to see if I could get somethin' to eat, and then maybe find a place to crash for the night." I said.
The boys looked at each other and nodded.
"Why don't you stay with us?" Dante asked.
I backed away a little in fear.
"It's okay. We wouldn't do anything that would make you uncomfortable. We ain't like those other guys that tried to pull somethin' on a girl on our turf." Dante said.
I felt a wave of relief crash over me.
"So, how 'bout it? You comin' with us?" Hiro asked, holding out his hand.
I hesitated a bit, contradicting whether to go with them or not.
I mean, they did just save me from eternal pain, regret, and embarrassment, so the least I can do is accept their offer.
"Sure." I said, taking his hand.
He smiled and nodded. They soon began to lead me to the suburb side of Jamaica Estates, where all the expensive houses are. After a few minutes of walking, we soon stopped at a villa looking mansion, with a big, black fence surrounding it.
These guys sure are rich...
"Home sweet home." Dante said.
We walked up the marble staircase and stopped in front of the door. Hiro rang the doorbell and waited. Not too long after, a boy with brown hair opened the door.
"Welcome back, you guys." he said.
"Thanks Bailey." Cole said.
Bailey looked down and then saw me.
"Who's the girl?" Bailey asked.
"This is Alita. She'll be stayin' with us for a while." Hiro said.
I gave a small wave.
What is this place, a frat house?
"Well, any friend of the these guys is a friend of mine." Bailey said.
I soon found myself smiling.
"Come in, guys. Don't wanna catch a cold, do ya?" Bailey asked.
The four of us walked in while Bailey closed the door. Inside was beautiful. A big living room leading into a magnificent kitchen and dining room.
These guys are stacked...!
"Welcome to our humble abode, Alita. Make yourself comfortable." Cole said.
I put my backpack down and walked around the house in awe.
"Wow..." I said.
I walked through the kitchen and looked at the amazing cutlery and the big, granite island.
"So, why did you bring her here in the first place?" Bailey asked.
"She had just run away from home. Her parents weren't seein' eye to eye with each other, and it caused her to run away. They were just splittin' up, too, and they asked Alita to choose who she wanted to stay with." Dante explained.
Bailey looked over at me as I was looking out of a bay window.
"How old is she?" Bailey asked.
Dante, Cole, and Hiro looked at Bailey with annoyed yet serious looks.
"Not like that! I'm just sayin' she looks really young to have run all the way from the East to here." Bailey said.
"Yeah. We also saw her in the hands of Victor, Dimitri, and Alan. Good thing we were doin' our rounds, otherwise, she would've been scarred for life." Hiro said.
The other boys nodded. I then walked over to the boys and bowed my head.
"Thank y'all so much for lettin' stay here. I hope it ain't no trouble if you have someone else stayin' here." I said.
"It ain't no trouble at all. There's like, six other guys livin' here." Dante said.
My mind went completely blank.
Did he just say... SIX OTHER GUYS!?
"What do you mean by that?" I asked.
"Guess we never really introduced ourselves. We're the Night Howlers, one of the biggest gangs in Queens." Hiro said.
I stepped back in shock.
These guys are the Night Howlers?
"Wow... I've heard so much 'bout y'all. I never thought I would actually be stayin' with em'." I said.
The boys chuckled.
"I'll be right back. I'll gather the other guys." Cole said.
With that, Cole ran up to the second floor.
"If you don't mind me askin', Alita, but... how old are you? Not in that type of way, of course. I'm just curious. The others told me what happened to you, and it just got me wonderin'." Bailey said.
"Oh, I'm sixteen." I answered.
Hiro, Cole, and Bailey did a double take.
"Really?" Hiro asked.
"Yup. Born on July 18, 2003." I said.
"You look... younger." Cole said.
I chuckled.
"Ain't the first time someone said that to me." I said.
After a few minutes, Dante came back with six other boys in tow.
"Everyone, meet Alita. She'll be staying with us for a while, so please, make her fell welcome." Dante said.
All of the boys said hello.
They're all really nice... and handsome...
Then, and young, but older looking man with blonde hair, walked up to me.
"Name's Winston, the leader of this gang." he said.
I smiled and shook his hand.
"In this gang, we have ranks, just like a real wolf pack. Alpha, Beta, Subordinate, and Omega. I'm the Alpha. Cole, Dante and Hiro are the Betas, and Bailey, Luca, Chase, Cosmo, Trevor, and Ryan are the Subordinates." Winston explained.
"Oh... I get it. I'm surprised you ain't got no Omegas." I said.
"Actually, we do." Luca said.
"Who?"
"You..." they all said.
What...? I'm not even part of the gang.
"But I ain't even part of the gang." I said.
"You are now. Welcome to the pack, Alita." Winston said.
I looked around at the boys and the all had bright and friendly smiles. I couldn't help but smile as well.
"I'll try and live up to your expectations, Winston." I said.
Winston smiled and nodded.
"If you're gonna be part of the gang, we need to give you a name." Dante said.
"Like what?" I asked.
"How 'bout... Pup? The name suits her well, due to how cute and innocent she is." Hiro said.
Pup...?
