I woke up to my alarm for school. My body didn't want to cooperate with me at all today. I powered through the morning with the occasional stumbling and headaches. I honestly wasn't hungry at all this morning. It only got worse when I got to the school. The headaches became more intense, my vision occasionally blurred, and I was now relying on the wall for support. Color saw me stumbling through the hallway and ran over to me and asked something like "are you ok?". I couldn't really tell anymore, I felt like I couldn't respond even if I wanted to. I began to fall forward feeling arms catch me. I heard mumbling, and something about a nurse. Although I couldn't really think straight, I knew I was going to the nurses office. Something soft and cold came across my forehead, like a hand. To be honest, it felt kinda nice. I heard more mumbling, then I was laid down and then someone put something hard and cold in my forehead. It felt nice too, and my headache eased up a bit and I could focus on things much better. I was still pretty confused as to what was going on, the next thing I knew, I was on the couch at home. My vision began to clear, I saw sans in the kitchen and jack was next to me. Color said "she's awake", sans the came in with a glass of water and hands it to me.  Took a sip of it and my mind became more clear. Sans asked me "how are you feeling" with a tone that could only be described as concerned or worried. I knew that there was no lying in this situation, so I said "like trash", with my voice sounding more hoarse than usual. Apparently, I have a fever. I wasn't allowed to leave the couch, and had to take some bitter medicine. I swear that stuff is horrible. I fell asleep after a while. I was awakened to sans telling me to eat. I didn't feel like eating at all, I didn't even know if I could keep anything down either. I had to take another dose of the medicine, which tasted horrible, with some water to wash it down. I fell asleep again, but this time, I was woken up by a massive (and I mean MASSIVE) headache. I whimper a little as I cry in pain. Sans rushed over to me and asked me "what's wrong kiddo?". I couldn't really give him an answer, all I said was "it, hurts..... my head..... hurts". Sans wiped some of my tears with his boney hand shushing me and telling me I was ok. He gave me an ice pack and put it in my forehead with a washcloth separating it and making it feel more cool than cold. The headache eased a bit, making it more bearable. I thanked sans and fell asleep again.

Sans pov

I went to bed after giving (y/n) her medicine. I woke up to the sound of crying and whimpering. I got up quickly and opened my door to see (y/n) crying! I rushed over to her to see what was wrong and asked her "what's wrong kiddo?", she replied in a desperate whimper "it, hurts....... my head.... hurts". It broke my heart a bit to see the one girl I love in this kind of pain. I wiped away some of her tears and comforted her saying that it was ok. She eventually fell asleep. Not making the same mistake twice, I pulled up a chair and sat near the couch. I fell eventually fell asleep in the chair. I woke up to (y/n) stirring. It didn't look like she was having a nightmare, if anything, it looked like she was stretching in her sleep. What was odd, was that she was only stretching her legs. So she was kinda kicking in her sleep. It was interesting to watch her peacefully sleep. I ended up staring at her while she slept, which now sounds creepy when I think about it. I felt my face heat up a bit and realized that I was blushing! Man I have really fallen for this girl huh. Luckily she wasn't awake yet. If anything, she was out cold. My blushing stopped after a while. And papyrus came down the stairs and yelled "GOOD MORNING S-" I cut him off by shushing him and pointing at (y/n). Then, she moaned a little and her eyes fluttered open. She yawned and shifted into a sitting up position. She was looking a lot better now. Papyrus looked a little disappointed that he accidentally 'woke the human up'. (Y/n) must've noticed this and gave papyrus a reassuring smile and told him it was ok. She stretched her long light (f/c) wings along with her arms, legs, cat ears and tail. Her eyes widened when she saw that it was 9:45 am. She asked "what day is it?". I kinda saw were this was heading and said "It's Tuesday, but your staying home". She pouted a little and looked down for a second, until her ears perked up and she loudly asked "where's jack?". I said "well, if jack is the person who walked you to the office and helped carry you home, then I'd say that they're at school", I saw (y/n)'s ears droop as she began to pace nervously repeating the words "oh fudge", and "fudge sticks". It was obvious that she was worried about jack, but I didn't know why. I asked her "what's wrong?", she replied "color is a well known target at school, usually I can protect her, but I can't do that here... unless..." it looked like she had a good idea. She summoned a tiny gaster blaster and teleported it to the school. As she was looking through the gaster blasters eyes, she closed her eyes to control it.

                             (Y/n) pov

I closed my eyes and focused on the sight that I saw. There was a gang blocking my view of what looked like color. I got in closer to realize that it was color and she was getting picked on and punched by a group of kids. I quickly took action and had the blaster get between color and the bullies, then the gaster blaster blasted one of the kids hands. They yelled in pain and started mumbling curse words at me. I made the blaster growl and they all ran away. I turned around and saw color staring at me. She asked "(y/n)?", the blaster nodded in response. Her expression softened and said that she was glad I was ok. I followed her around for the rest of the day stopping anyone who tried to hurt her. I felt something in my right eye when the school day ended. Once I knew color was safe, the gaster blaster disappeared and I opened my eyes to see sans looking at me worried. But there was a hint of something else that told me something was different, I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror to see that my right eye looked similar to sans' eyes. It was black with a white pupil.
