Ruby pov

I watched as y/n collapsed onto the ground. I checked her HP to see it was 1 out of 5 HP. I started to heal her while toriel and asgore were talking to the cops. Papyrus also joined me I healing y/n. When I looked at my paws after touching y/n's head, I saw that they were red which could only mean that she is bleeding where she got hit when she was flung into the house. I felt anger toward the man, but I kept my focus on y/n. Another question I had was 'why was she awake at that time?', it's not that I'm not grateful for her protecting us and the house, it's just the fact that she was awake at 3 am. Again, I shook off the question and focused on healing y/n. Once yer HP was a 5 out of 5, I stopped and carried her inside just to set her down on the couch and fetch the first aid kit. I turned back into my human form and wrapped her up, making sure that she will be able to move her wings when she wakes up. I know for a fact that she hates not being able to move her wings when she is active, or just anytime. It's like grabbing a deer by the antlers and expecting it not to fuss, or, at least, that's what y/n says. Eventually, everyone else came back inside to check in y/n. Me and sans didn't eat breakfast or lunch that day, we both just lost our appetite. Y/n wasn't eating, so neither were we. Heck, undyne even tried to force feed us. It was about 3 o'clock pm when y/n began to stir. She opened her eyes a little, and moved her arm toward me before softly saying "ruby? Sans?". I held her arm and said "I'm here y/n", then, she asked "sans?". Sans put his boney hand on y/n's paw and said "heh, I'm here kid". Y/n turn asked "the man didn't get any of you guys did he?", sans an I shook our head no, and I said "no, you protected us. Thank you y/n". Y/n then said "why don't you eat?", sans and I looked at each other for a few seconds before we said in unison "cause we were worried sick about you". Y/n slowly, and shakily got up and said "come on, let's eat", we followed her to the kitchen where everyone else was watching us talk to y/n. The three of us sat down and ate in an awkward silence, because everyone else was staring at us, once we were done eating, y/n said to everyone who was staring "take a picture it'll last you longer". Almost instantly, everyone stopped staring at us, some blushing in embarrassment. Y/n then walked back to the living room, she was about to walk back to the couch when she froze in place and her ears started twitching. For some odd reason, y/n's hearing is better than mine. Then she turns to the wall and says "I'll be right back", then, she teleports off. Sans was about to go after her, but I stopped him and said "she can handle it, she is a quick recoverer". Sans looked at me with a worried expression, but nodded and went to sit on the couch.

Y/n's pov

I heard screaming and hitting a few houses down, and teleported outside to follow the noise. I came to find a broken looking home, the door was ajar, so I trotted inside. When I entered, I was hit with the stench of alcohol and blood. I didn't like it at all. I heard a man yell "You Stupid piece of Trash", followed by a crash. I quickly ran to the scene to see a girl with dirty-blond hair, hazel eyes, a rainbow tye-dye t-shirt with cargo shorts. In front of the girl was a man holding a broken beer bottle. I ran over to the man and started clawing his legs to distract him from the girl. The man turned to me and threw the bottle at me, I dodged it and ran over to the girl. I then turned into my human form and was basically being her human shield. My tail touched her arm, and I used this chance to heal her cuts. The man approached us and yelled "get outta here ya cat", I said "nope" in reply. I then mumbled to the girl "run, I'll cover you", then man then charged at me with his beer bottle in hand. I held him back with my magic, I saw the girl run out unnoticed. I grinned a little, and sent a small Gaster blaster head after her to follow her. Then, I hit the man with a f/c Gaster blaster. The man then was under my control, he was so drunk, he could hardly control himself, so it was easy for me to take control. I made him walk out and fall asleep next to the entrance of a police station with his bloody beer bottle still in his hand. I giggled a little at the thought of a police man coming out of the station to see a passed out drunk man with a broken, bloody beer bottle in his hand. I then walk out and use the Gaster blaster head from before to find the girl who I told to run. I teleported to where the Gaster blaster head was, and ran up to the girl. The girl turned to me and said "there you are! Thanks for saving me back there. You ok?", I nodded and said "yeah. hey, do you wanna come and sleep at my place?". The girl nodded in reply, I motioned her to follow me and started walking toward my house. As we walked, the girl asked me "so, what's your name? My name is color". I mentally face palm, feeling bad for not introducing myself sooner. I say "my name's y/n, nice to meet you color", color then says "I see you're a hybrid, is it ok if I ask what your breed is?". I nod and say "I'm a mix on a neko, angel, skeleton, and a human. So I'm three parts monster and one part human". Color replies with a "cool", we continue walking until we reach my house. I stop and say "color, just a heads up, the people inside are really....... interesting. We have two skeleton brothers, and my brother, living in the house". Color nods, probably mentally preparing themselves for what's inside the house. I opened the door and said "hey guys, we have a new friend", ruby, sans and a very exited papyrus turned toward me. I then motioned for color to come in. She shyly walked into the house and kinda hid behind me. I said "color, this is ruby, sans and papyrus" as I motioned to each person I listed. I then said "everyone, this is color. I heard her screaming a few houses down, so I went to go check it out, and I'm glad I did. I'll let color tell you the details if she's comfortable with it. Anyway, come in". Color came in, and after around an hour, became more comfortable with everyone, and their personality.
