Sans pov

I watched y/n and ruby "play" with each other. Despite rough housing and tackling each other, ruby seems to be really gentle with y/n. His tackles are like gentle pushes on the shoulders, and when she doesn't go down, he just licks her face which apparently makes her lose her balance and fall. Once they were tired out, they came in and almost instantly fell asleep in the floor. I took y/n to her room, and pap took ruby to his room. I can see why y/n sees ruby as an older brother, their relationship reminds me of pap and I. We practice with each other by sparring, we even slept with each other sometimes. Ruby even seems to get overprotective with y/n, similar to the way I am with pap. I fell asleep, and for once, I didn't have a nightmare. I woke up to the smell of pancakes, I got up and went down to tue kitchen to see ruby teaching y/n how to make pancakes. Ruby said "ok, now that the batter is on the pan, you have to wait for there to be bubbles mostly on the sides and for some to be in the middle", there was a pause. Then ruby said "ok, those are bubbles", and he pointed at the pan. Y/n then asked "so I flip it now?", ruby replied "no, you have to wait for there to be bubbles all over the sides of the pancake". Y/n said "oh", and watched the pan for around a minuet before saying "ruby, there are bubbles around the edges now". Ruby looked over and say the pancake before saying "good, now get the spatula under the pancake and flip it, like this", he then flipped the pancake on his pan. Y/n copied his actions, ruby then looked over at y/n's pan and said "awesome job y/n! Now you need to wait until you see steam coming up from the pancake, then you'll flip it again and put it on the plate next to you when you think it's done", y/n nodded. After around 30 seconds, y/n flipped the pancake again and then flipped it onto the plate next to her. Ruby then started clapping, y/n then looked pleased with her work. I hummed in approval and said "something smells good", ruby turned to me and said "oh morning sans, we were making pancakes. Want some?". I nodded and sleepily went to the table. Pulling up a chair from the table, I sat down and a plate of steaming pancakes was set in front of me along with syrup, butter, and sugar. Why sugar was on the table was beyond me, but I just poured syrup on my pancakes and took a bite. They were AMAZING! I got stars in my eyes as I devoured the pancakes. Y/n then sat down and spread some butter on her pancakes before sprinkling sugar over the top of it, once about a 4 tablespoons of sugar was on the pancake, she rolled it up and ate it. She then did the same with two more pancakes before going to the living room. I actually tried doing what y/n did with her pancakes. It tasted pretty good, I followed y/n to the living room and we both sat on the couch. I turned on the tv, ruby then joined me in the living room. He told me before sitting on the floor "I have a plate of 3 pancakes for papyrus when he wakes up, it's in the microwave". I nodded and continued to watch the news. Apparently, there was a crazy storm coming, but there was a noise that the tv made that really hurt y/n and Ruby's ears. Both of their ears flattened against their head as ruby whined and y/n whimpered before saying "turn it off". I turned off the tv, y/n and ruby unfolded their ears and shook their head. I asked "you ok?" To the both of them, they nodded in unison and y/n said "yup, just peachy" while rubbing her ears. I said "Sorry, I didn't know that was gonna happen", y/n stopped rubbing her ears and said "you didn't know that would happen sans, don't blame yourself". I nodded, still feeling bad about what just happened. Ruby then said "just be glad they didn't pull a dog whistle", y/n seemed to cringe at the thought, and said "yeah". There was a long pause before asking "hey, uhh.... do you two want to meet the gang?". Ruby and y/n looked at each other before y/n said "sure, we're down". My smile got a little wider and called everyone and told them to come over here. Around five minuets after I called them, undyne kicks the door open and says "hey sans! How are ya". I wave and say "heya", alphys followed her, toriel walked in and said "hello sans" in her warm, motherly voice. Asgore followed her and said "howdy". Frisk and asriel followed asgore inside. Since papyrus was hanging g our with mettaton, he followed the flamboyant robot in saying "HELLO BROTHER". I waved and said "heya bro" back to him. I then gestured to y/n and ruby and said "guys this is y/n and ruby, the wolf is ruby and the cat is y/n". I then looked at y/n and ruby and said "y/n, ruby, this is undyne, alphys, toriel, asgore, frisk, asriel , and mettaton" while gesturing to each person as I said their name. Ruby and y/n then walked around everyone's legs and feet, ruby sniffing everyone (because that's what dogs do), and y/n examining them up and down and rubbing against their legs. Strangely, for a cat, she doesn't shed her fur at all. Once they were done weirding out everyone, they went back to where they were originally standing/sitting and said in unison "nice to meet you all". Undyne then yelled, without warning, "Lets Party punks!".

A/n: I think it's funny that I made an authors note saying that there will be slow updates, then I post around 3 new chapters within the last few days. But now I'll be taking care of an eight month old puppy for a while, so that's gonna take up some time. However, when I'm on the bus to school and in the cafeteria, I am usually working on the next chapter. So yeah, I'll try to stay active. See ya peeps
