This is for day five of ec_poetry 's poetry camp! Today there was a challenge, I'm pretty proud of how this turned out, I restarted so many times.

Alone on the edge of the street,
A stranger brought me a treat.

He picked me up even though I was wet,
Took me home, adopting me as his pet.

He dried me and kept me warm,
Filling out the adoption form.

Now I'm free to roam,
Inside my very own home.
