Everlasting | Challenge
This is my poem for day twenty-nines 's challenge! I actually had a lot of fun with this one, and I managed to write more than six lines. I'm not entirely sure if I did this right, but I think it turned out okay. I hope you enjoy!
Everlasting wooden glory,
Limbs outstretched, touching the sky.
Memories of centuries past,
Stored within the foliage.
Birds flutter home,
Twigs and pebbles make their nest.
Attached is a plank of wood,
Rope swinging to and fro.
Your breath creates fog,
As I push you, ever swinging.
An oaken artifact,
Forever standing solid.
