Now who exactly would be in charge of making sure the littles didn't burn down the house?

Chan and Changbin of course.

Usually Felix was the one to do the baking. But this time he opted to sit out and watch the madness that is the baking with littles.

Hyunjin had woken up at all the commotion from earlier. He was happy to be feeling a bit better, and decided to join in the festivities of the kitchen.

"So what are we making?", Chan asked.

Little Jeongin came out of the pantry with two cake mixes. He placed them on the counter.

"Cake! Marbwe!", he said.

"Ooo! Wit chocolate icing!", Jisung replied.

"An decowations!", Hyunjin clapped.

Minho was loving all of the cuteness in the room. He leaned over to Seungmin and whispered something.

"I think they're a bit younger than normal."

Seungmin nodded in agreement.

"We better get ready for a show then."

Minho, Seungmin, and Felix sat at the kitchen island and watched the other five boys.

Changbin was preheating the oven. Hyunjin and Jisung grabbed bowls and mixing spoons. Chan was helping Jeongin to find all of the ingredients ahead of time so they could have them all ready.

"Okay we also need eggs.", Chan said.

"How many?", Innie asked.

"Four, because we have two boxes."

"That's lot of eggs. I get them."

He reached into the fridge and took out the egg carton. He opened it and grabbed each egg one by one. Chan took out the milk at the same time.

Jeongin accidentally dropped an couple eggs and let out a loud gasp.

"Oh no! I drop that egg!"

Jisung saw and grabbed the paper towels.

"I help you Innie!"

Hyunjin also decided to help and picked up some loose eggshells.

The three littles cleaned up the mess and stood together washing their hands in the sink. They came back to the counter and helped Chan, who began mixing ingredients.

Changbin was deciding what decorations to put on the cake. He wanted to make little faces like the ones that were on the cupcakes Felix bought for everyone.

"Hey Chan, how big is this cake?", Changbin asked.

"Two layers!"

"Perfect. Which one of you cuties wants to help me make little decorations?"

Hyunjin pushed past the other two littles and ran over to Changbin. Together they picked out the ingredients to make fondant icing.

Meanwhile, Jisung and Jeongin were trying to crack eggs.

"How I do this?", Jisung asked.

"You have to hit it on counter. Like this."

Little Innie gently hit the egg on the counter. It cracked and he was able to open it, letting the inside fall into the bowl. Jisung followed the directions and successfully cracked two eggs while Jeongin did the last one.

Seungmin was filming little moments from this cooking session. You could hear the three sitting at the bar laughing from behind the camera when Jisung put cake mix on Chan's nose.

"Hehehehehehe! Channie cake boy!", Jisung laughed.

"Oh I'm gonna get you-"

The two ran around the kitchen island with Chan trying to put cake mix on Jisung.

After they were done, Jeongin picked out the cake pans. Chan poured the mix into both pans.

"Be careful opening that oven Sungie.", Minho said.

"Otay appa!"

Minho couldn't hold his smile. His baby was very cute after all.

Jisung slowly opened the oven. Chan and Jeongin put the pans in the oven. On the other side of the kitchen, Hyunjin was putting food dye in the icing mix, which was almost done.

"Our cake be orange!", the little said.

He smiled while showing Chan the bowl of icing.

"Wow, good job angel! I didn't know we had another baker in the house."

Hyunjin laughed and continued making the icing.

The other littles joined in. Chan decided to take a break and sit down next to Minho at the island.

"You know, maybe this mandatory break is good for us.", Minho said.

"You think?"

"Yeah. We have been working non-stop, for years. Everyone needs a break, especially you. A real one. Not a few days."

"But-"

"Hear me out Chan. This is good for us. Look how happy they are."

Chan looked around the room. Minho and Seungmin were laughing at the littles eating the icing, and Changbin's done expression.

"You're right...I guess I can get used to it."

After the layers of cake were done in the oven, it was decorating time.

Changbin, Jeongin, and Hyunjin were icing the bottom layer while Chan and Jisung iced the top layer. When they were done, they put the layers together.

Each person had drawn the face of an animal on the cake. It was adorable to say the least.

Together the members each tried a piece of the cake.

They were sitting in the living room by this time, watching a documentary about nature. The littles were all sitting next to their Caregivers. Jisung was snuggled into Minho, eating their cake together. Jeongin was on Changbin's lap, taking little pieces of his cake.

Hyunjin was sitting next to Chan, letting himself be fed by the older. Felix and Seungmin were invested in the documentary, occasionally taking bites of their cake.

When they finished with their cake, they all piled their paper plates on the table.

The documentary ended, and by this time they were all tired.

Chan looked down and noticed Hyunjin staring up at him, smiling.

"Aww, look how cute you are.", Chan said.

He got a series of giggles in reply.

"Want to go to bed angel?"

The little just laughed and reached a hand up to Chan's face and squeezed his nose lightly. He pulled on his lip and continued laughing at the leaders facial expression.

All the members turned to them and made "aww" sounds at the sight.

"That's cute, he's like a baby!", Felix said.

Hyunjin looked at him and reached his hands out.

Felix happily sat by them, and let Hyunjin slide over onto his shoulder. The little was staring at Felix and yawning.

They heard another series of giggles and looked over to see Jisung playing with Minho's hands and laughing.

"Hey Chan hyung?", Minho said.

"Yes?"

"I think they're in baby space."

"B-baby space-"

"Yeah, it's the youngest headspace littles can reach. But a lot of them don't get this young."

Everyone looked at Jeongin, expecting him to be a baby too. Instead, he was playing games on Changbin's phone and ignoring everyone else.

"Well let's bring these babies upstairs to get relaxed.", Chan said.

The members agreed.

Chan picked up baby Hyunjin. Minho picked up Jisung with a lot more ease than he thought.

Together they all went upstairs. They decided (despite already living together) to have a sleepover. So they all stayed in the same room.

The three littles gathered on the bed. Hyunjin was laying on his back, playing with a toy Chan gave him. Jisung was watching Jeongin play the game while biting his shirt.

Chan was talking to Minho by the mirror in the room.

"I'm going to get some more little stuff for them. Some baby things. What should I get for Jisung?", Chan asked.

"I'll handle Sungie's things, and I'm sure Changbin will take care of Jeongin. You just get for Hyunjin."

"Okay okay, good. By the way, thanks, Minho."

"For what?"

"Trying to help me realize how much not working for a while can benefit us."

"Of course. Now to have eight consecutive months of this."

"Don't remind me..."
