Jungkook with his family had a beautiful time that day.

Mirari's smile was as bright as the sun, maybe more than that. She felt happy in Jungkook's arms and got a lot of kisses and pecks from him. It turned out to be a mini family date with their son.

Jaro was busy playing around with the pumpkins.

While the beautiful couple were enjoying their time together. A truck came inside the pumpkin patch carrying more pumpkins.

Everything was usual until people around noticed something wrong with the truck.

Instead of the truck going towards the warehouse. With its irrational speed, the truck moved toward where Jaro was playing in the field.

Jungkook and Mirari didn't take long to notice and ran to save their child.

"Jaro, Jaro, baby", Mirari shouted at the top of her lungs.

Whereas Jungkook didn't thought of anything. He left his wife's hand and ran to save his precious little son.

The truck was coming towards Jaro at full speed. That innocent boy didn't had any idea of what was happening. He was sitting down busy rubbing and touching the pumpkins and playing with them.

The truck was running fast and getting so close to him.

Mirari's heart dropped with every second as she ran and Jungkook also ran as fast as he could.

"Someone, please stop the truck, someone, please do something", a person standing there shouted.

"Save the child", another shouted. 

People ran towards the truck to do something. But all of them failed. The driver inside could be seen struggling. But all of this was of no use. The truck still had high speed and was marching towards Jaro.

However, before the truck could reach Jaro Jungkook quickly reached him and covered him up with his body his back facing the truck.

Mirari ran towards them and her heart dropped seeing the scene in front of her.

Jungkook covered Jaro making him come under his body. The truck crashed into a tree in front crushing all the pumpkins.

Once the truck went past Jaro and Jungkook. It was a scene that no one should witness. Something from under the truck looking like a spear had gone deep inside Jungkook's back.

Jaro was safe and protected under his father.

Mirari quickly ran towards them. She took out that spear from his back which caused a lot of pain to both of them. Jungkook kept himself too strong and didn't scream to not scare his son under him.

Mirari then held Jungkook in her arms putting his head on her lap. She caressed his hair and held his hand interlocking her fingers.

Jaro was looking at his father's face with his innocent eyes holding Siesta unaware of anything.

"Jungkook, baby, Jungkook" Mirari kept saying and she put her hand on the wound from which blood was oozing out. She was desperate to stop the blood but she can't seem to find any solution.

She looked around, "someone please help, help me, help us", she screamed crying.

"Please someone call an ambulance, baby Jungkook, baby look at me" She wept with her heart sinking deep and her hand on his chest and she caressed his hair gently. 

"Baby, I am here, we are here, please hold on", she said crying, eyes full of tears, scared seeing blood coming out and her husband almost losing consciousness.

On the other hand, Jaro tightly hugged Siesta. Seeing his parents cry, that little boy got scared and cried more.

"Dada, Momma, Dada", he said those words to his parents in his tender voice.

Jungkook pointed towards his son while trying to say something but the wound in his chest was giving him pain to speak. More than that seeing his little boy and his little pumpkin cry was making him in more pain.

He wanted to do something to make them smile in this situation as well.

"Pumpkin, pum-", he tried to speak and pointed calling his son. Mirari looked towards his son as she cried from the immense pain that came their way out of nowhere.

Jaro got up getting close holding his Dada's hands, "Dada, no cry, see we a pumpum now", he said crying not understanding what was happening. Just trying to make his father and mother smile.

Jungkook tried to smile but he couldn't. He knew he can't anymore.

He held Jaro and Mirari's hands and almost in a whisper said, "Pumpkin, I love you. Take care of yourself and our little Jaro".

"No, no, no, you can't, just shush, shush, the ambulance is coming any minute. Hold on stay with us, with me baby".

Mirari shook her head in disbelief and cried continuing, "You promised to be with us forever, you can't break it".

"Your babies need you. No, don't, you can't Jungkook", she said those words and put her forehead on Jungkook's.

"List- listen, I have no time", he spoke with difficulty and kissed Mirari's nose.

"Promise me to take care of Jaro and yourself, pumpkin. I-I love you."

"No, you need to be here for us. We need you, your love", Mirari said with a heavy heart hearing her husband say those words.

"P-please listen, I have no-no time", he tried to bring Jaro close but the pain was so much that he couldn't even seem to hold his baby in his arms. 

Mirari put her head up and saw him struggling feeling a pang in her heart looking at Jaro helped to bring Jaro close to Jungkook and caressed Jungkook's hair.

Jaro looked at his father's face who was trying to smile for the sake of not letting her son see him in this state. Jungkook said, "Dada loves you, take care of Momma and pumpum".

"Jaro loves you", Jaro said to Jungkook with his lips curled down and tears rolling down his cheeks. He got close and kissed Jungkook's cheeks which made Mirari cry even more feeling devasted.

This was not what any of them expected. That was not how they expected their family to be, this was heartbreaking.

As Jungkook started to feel he had little time left. He spoke.

"P-pumpkin, remember to be happy, remember how much I love you", he took a deep breath through his mouth moving his chest up and down.

"You will be in my heart even after I die".

"Sorry, I couldn't fulfill my promise", he coughed and took another deep breath taking a pause, and continued, "but I will fulfill it in the next birth".

Mirari shook her head in no and cried weeping not believing the love of her life was dying in her lap.

"Jungkook, I-I love you, don't, baby stay", she said and cried kissing his lips and forehead, cheeks and nose, his whole face.

Trying to somehow capture him in her embrace forever. She pressed his chest making failed efforts to stop the blood.

Her heart is shattering into a million pieces and her eyes are getting watery. Jaro took his little hand and removed tears one by one from his parents' cheeks.

"Momma Dada, no cry, Jaro loves you", he was not able to understand what was happening but could understand that his parents didn't feel well. 

That little boy was so confused, scared, sad, and in pain seeing his Dada like this and his Momma crying.

He just wanted to go back home with his Momma and Dada and play with his new pumpum. But fate had other thoughts.

Jungkook gave a sign to Mirari to get close to him and kissed her lips. Mirari kissed his lips and brought Jaro close as Jungkook kissed his little boy's cheeks one last time.

He took another deep breath through his mouth making his chest rise high.

"I love you! Your Dada loves you", saying these last words to his family he went into a deep sleep. Not opening his eyes ever again.

Mirari panicked as she saw him.

"No, no, no Jungkook, no baby, wake up, please, no, you can't love", she tried to shake him gently, rubbing his cheeks, holding his head close, and kissing it.

"Please someone, God, Jungkook, no, don't leave us alone".

"Your pumpkin loves you. Wake up baby", she screamed in her cries losing herself seeing Jungkook with no breath in her lap.

Her mournful cries made Jaro more scared. Her head fell back and she screamed her unbearable pain.

She was trying to wake Jungkook up but failed. Then she just put her forehead on Jungkook's and cried.

"Dada, Dada Momma cries, wakey wakey Dada", Jaro spoke crying shaking his father hoping for him to wake up.

Seeing his mother devasted and his father not speaking again Jaro held Jungkook's hand as tightly as he could and cried holding Siesta close to him.

I am sorry for making you guys cry but this made me cry in buckets as well. 😭😭
