When I started this book, I sincerely had a picture for it. A complicated love story between two childhood frenemies. I didn't want to delve into any clichés, especially since it was about two established adults, so it made more sense for their conversation to be laced with maturity and little bit of playful banters.

The central link between the two characters was "Imade".  I wanted to show the extent at which people would do for the ones they love, even if they don't like it. Tife and Nara were devoted to Imade.  It was also their devotion that led to them falling in love.

As much as it brings me joy to conclude their love story, it also breaks my heart to let go of these amazing characters. As a writer, it's exciting to bring stories into the world and my biggest excitement is writing new ones, that is why I've decided to have two new romantic novels to be released by next year. More details on that will be established soon.
